Re: Regulating Cryptocurrencies"
by
Kezio
on 29/01/2018, 22:30:37 UTC
Doesn't regulation mean it will become centralized? I thought the whole point of crypto was for the user to have control over his own transactions without having to use a intermediary such as a bank. Surely the governmental regulation will go through a bank.

Re: What will you do with scam projects?
by
Kezio
on 29/01/2018, 21:55:19 UTC
Other than reporting the project and the manager in charge of it, there's nothing much you can do, if you didn't catch that in time. If you figured out that it is a scam before actually wasting your time, you could always leave the bounty.

Apparently, I am not handling things very well, but if I were, I am a firm believer that short term investments can be more profitable if you make the right decisions managing the situations.

Re: Merit, reassessment
by
Kezio

Let's face it, the only people who might give you any merit on your posts are the ones running the bounties, because they actually have to read them. The rest of us don't really have the time or patience to run 20+ pages of posts in threads, to maybe find yours and consider it worthy to merit.

Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again?
by
Kezio
on 28/01/2018, 05:15:59 UTC
Either way you might choose to view it, the nature of cryptocurrency is highly volatile, so you could hope for very short periods of stability, but in the long run it may never happen.

Re: what is your plan?
by
Kezio
on 27/01/2018, 20:18:36 UTC
Ideally, the plan would be to gradually cash out and reinvest in markets outside crypto, just to have a fail-safe in case this burns to the ground one day.

Re: Hodl bitcoin or split it in many altcoins ???
by
Kezio
on 27/01/2018, 18:05:41 UTC
Seeing as how Bitcoin dropped in price by a significant amount since 2018 started, your best option might be to invest at least half of it into alts. I would personally go with ETH and BCH.

Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018?
by
Kezio
on 21/01/2018, 00:12:07 UTC
I think there were little doubts regarding ETH pushing past 1000$. Now we have to see if the fluctuations will stop and the trend will set a direction for the price. Only in this past week, the volatility showed and ETH dropped from 1300$ to 800$ midweek and then rose back to 1100$.

Re: Electroneum announced they are getting added to more exchanges.
by
Kezio

Well that sounds interesting as it might produce a popularity growth, which might lead to an increase in transaction making the demand to rise. And this perhaps will be reflected on the price.

Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ?
by
Kezio
on 20/01/2018, 18:18:25 UTC
Do forums count as social media? If so, Bitcointalk.org reigns supreme. If not, then Twitter has a major impact on the population, followed closely by Facebook.

I would rather wait a bit and see which of them start trending at the end of this month and how stable it that trend will be.

Re: Litecoin or Monero
by
Kezio
on 19/01/2018, 16:22:05 UTC
Some say Monero and with good reasons, but I would personally go with Litecoin even if it has a strong dependency on the price of Bitcoin, it had a quite stable run taking into account its long existance so far, and chances for a crash are low.

Re: Is Ripple Going To Reach 10,000$ By 2020?
by
Kezio
on 19/01/2018, 14:51:13 UTC
It took Bitcoin about 4 years to get from $150 to $10000 and that was without having a monitorized flow. In that same time, a 4 year period, Ripple went from $0,006 to an all time high of $3. No, it will not even go past $5 probably, but if you invest smart you might make a small profit.

Re: Can I make much money mining Bitcoins?
by

To be fair, the rarity of decent results through mining today, makes the investment for the gear required, to leave a bigger hole in you pocket than the actual profit.

Truth be told, they might not disappear in a traditional sense, but in the way they functional. They might change their procedures to be able to integrate cryptocurrencies.

Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?
by
Kezio
on 11/01/2018, 22:31:31 UTC
If bitcoin dies, it will most likely be replaced by another coin and there is a big chance that it will be an altcoin. Some of them have had a really good year so far.

A few altcoins are going strong at this time and show some promise for the future, such as Ethereum, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash. You could star there, although I would advise you to do your own research and see which one you consider to be best for your investment.
