It looks like hes done a runner.. Holiday or not. If I was accused of something so big I would do everything in my power to prove my innocence.

I keep praying that we are wrong about this guy and he seriously does have a legit business. Though when you come to thing about it. $4.25 / GH is way tooooooo gooood to be true.

BTCMiners - Can I make an order for 400GH/s and pay you once the system goes live?

Hmmm... I went out today and got myself some pretty little BTC's, actually only half a pretty little BTC. 4 kids and a wife doesnt allow me to go crazy Smiley I was so excited! And the plan was to buy some shares.

Ive already been burnt 5 bitcoins a few weeks ago by another scammer and I surely dont want to be stung again. Im already in the red as it is. These 2 1/2 or so months of mining havent been very favourable to me, and now I think I may just sit on this .5BTC and keep it warm until I feel a little more confident to part away with them. Hey you never know, my ass may help it grow. Or some kind people out there may want to donate to make it a nice full bitcoin? Smiley Hint Hint. Just kidding

agath - I feel for you mate. I lost 5. You lost 31. I couldnt imagine how pissed off you would be! Hope it works out dude.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the late reply. Time difference between me and you guys is big, Im located in Sydney Australia. And after babysitting
4 kids yesterday afternoon they took everything out of me and I crashed early. Smiley

I have received a tonne of emails and thanks for that.

The best offer I have received is $1600 for the lot including the USB hub once it arrives. If I dont receive a better offer
within 12 hours I will accept that offer.

For those asking. Shipping to Europe or the US is approximately $100 express post international (3-7 days delivery)

Regards
Khoder.

Could you please tell my why it would cost hundreds in repair costs? Its a port that needs to be resoldered. The port itself is available for $5 from any electronics store. A little bit of solder and your good to go.

Maybe your soldering tactics are different? More expensive where you come from?

Hi guys,

I just recently got into Bitcoins. But I dont think my small investment was really worth it. So I am looking and getting rid of my few items that have been happily mining away for me for the past few weeks.

I have a total of 30 Asic Eruptors (I believe they're Sapphires)  and 2 Blades. 1 of the blades has a broken RJ45 port that's come off its soldering point. But I have been told by a few people that its an easy fix with a hot air soldering station.

I also have a 49port USB Block Eruptor Hub that I have ordered and awaiting delivery.

Im unsure what they are currently worth so if I get the right price where I wont lose too much I will happily depart with them. Sorry I dont have a firm price so I am going to leave it up to you guys to offer me what you will pay for them.

Be kind. Smiley

Thanks for your response. Shame I'm in Australia. Smiley If I was in the UK I wouldve preffered to getting it fixed by you and then letting you mine with it for a week. Smiley

I think I will have to find a PC repair shop that has a Hot air soldering station. I did try to very gently bend down the pins but I snapped one.
I think if I dont find a solution in the next week I may auction it off on here. A few tenths of a bitcoin is better than nothing.

Will keep yas updated.

Here are 2 images. 1 is a close up other is a bit further out. Youll see the RJ45 (I think thats what its called) port is ripped off.

Help repairing a Asicminer Blade
by

on 19/11/2013, 05:29:48 UTC
Hi guys,

I have a dilemma. I purchased on eBay 2 asicminer blades. I didn't open the packages right away and left them aside. My fault I know. Now a few weeks later I have opened
both packages and on one of the miners the Port that the network cable goes in was bent up. I tried to bend it back to where it is meant to be and the bloody thing just snapped off.

Now I have a board sitting here without a port for me to connect it to.

Ive racked my brain trying to find a solution for this dilemma but I cant find anything. I don't think my hands are steady enough for me to solder another one back on.

I was hoping maybe someone has had a similar problem and was able to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Second blade is mining away no probs at all. And I cant send it back to the person I bought it from. Its been 3 or so weeks.

Please help.

buy bitcoin instead of miners. that's your only chance right now Smiley

The funny thin is I agree with this.. When I first started reading about bitcoins a week or so ago. They were at approximately $135 a bitcoin. Today they are at approximately $200. If for example I had purchased 10 Bitcoins for $1350 then I guess I wouldve made a nice profit of $650. And I cant see myself making a profit like that by mining.

On the other hand the hobby side of it looks like fun. But indeed an expensive hobby. Smiley

Also if anyone can help. Is it true you can not mine Litecoins with an Asicminer? Cant find any information that tells me so.

Newbie - Is it too late to start mining?
by

on 30/10/2013, 04:53:25 UTC
Hi Guys,

Ive just found out about bitcoins thanks to Silk Roads demise, before that I thought it was some teenagers game. Smiley What happens to us when we grow old and start losing touch with technology.

Anyways, Ive been reading a bit about bitcoins plus some of the other digital currencies there are out there. Everytime I look at buying equipment I consider the price of the equipment, the electricity charges and wonder if it is still worth mining? Especially when all these new Cointerra machines and the likes are about to hit the scene. Once they do  im sure the difficulty level will sky rocket in days after people start receiving their machines.

So as a newbie who has limited funds, is it too late or would I be better off to mine a different currency hoping that it may eventually go up in value like bitcoin has?

Anyways this board has helped me a lot and I hope to learn a lot more.

Thanks
