Re: Why Cryptocurrency is not Legalized Despite the Many Benefits
by
Khumaidi
on 09/09/2021, 07:45:31 UTC
To my knowledge the first cryptocurrency was Bitcoin. Do you agree?
Since 2009 Bitcoin was launched by a person on behalf of Satoshi Nakamoto (aka) there have been very many positive things that have been obtained by people in the cryptocurrency space. Because Bitcoin has a limited stock, thus making the price of BTC expensive and then in anticipation of people being able to invest in crypto, Altcoins were born as an alternative.
Please give suggestions if my post is not correct.
I totally agree with you, regarding the illegality, it may be caused by mutually beneficial factors that provide bitcoin business with the government, the most important thing I think is the tax problem.

Re: What risks will you get in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic?
by
Khumaidi
on 26/08/2021, 15:04:11 UTC
Using digital currency in various virtual transactions has become commonplace Bitcoin is an example of a digital currency of popularity, Bitcoin is on the rise and is being talked about by people around the world, even now many people are trying to look at Bitcoin as a promising investment instrument, including during the pandemic but investing in Bitcoin when the corona outbreak occurs needs to be done with various considerations and maturity, the limited movement of people of course reduces income from many business sectors, both tourism, or food, so during this pandemic, people think a lot about investing and even carefully read market movements.

Then, is investing in cryptocurrency safe enough, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What is your opinion about whether or not there is a risk involved in investing during the COVID-19 pandemic?

In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, many sectors have been affected by the outbreak, both the economy, tourism and others, but if you look at crypto conditions that don't have a big impact in terms of investment, we can see the current movement of bitcoin and other coins on the market.

For now it is still very safe to invest in cryptocurrencies and currently cryptocurrencies are very supportive to do that, the COVID-19 pandemic conditions are not so influential in my view of investing, both now and later this year.
I totally agree with your view regarding the risk of the impact that occurs on stock investment during the covid 19 pandemic, yes indeed if we look at the market list, there has not been a significant impact on investing, but we must not deny that the economic conditions of all countries in the world look very declining. caused by a pandemic

Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ?
by

This days there are so many tokens appearing with a very large total supply, tokens like this are often called "Shit-coin/shit-token".
Many people say that this benefits the crypto world, but there are also those who say that it actually make the crypto world looks bad.

What do you guys think about this issue ?
In my opinion, the tokens or coins as you mentioned earlier, we must examine the source and legality because if we invest in new tokens and coins, the risk of loss is very large.

Re: investment that must be considered by beginners in playing stocks

-snip-
Bitcoin is the most common way to play stocks for beginners to gain investment experience because Crypto currencies like Bitcoin are one of the most popular ways to play stocks.

No, no. Bitcoin is no more beginner friendly than the stock market. Bitcoin is bitcoin, does not represent any entity like stock, high volatility that does not reflect the performance of any company. Nothing protects your bitcoin holdings from crime. More than just price analysis, beginners must know about the technicalities, yeah it's more complicated than just saving sheets of digital stock securities.

Btw, to give advice or investment advice to beginners, it's a good idea to start teaching yourself how to use correct punctuation. Wink
what you say may be true too,, how do you give a response it does not reflect that you are a senior in terms of investment, bitcoin is bitcoin not anything else but bitcoin is also an investment business that we must pay attention to its market value is also not universal we can do as we please So,, you need to pay attention that in criticizing someone's writing you should give the best advice so that it can change,, don't criticize to bring down but criticize to build,

Re: Elon Musk Makes Meme Coins, What Do You Think?
by

Elon Musk started to be talked about in the last few months, after making speculations about dogecoin at the time on Twitter, someone suggested Elon Musk create his own coin, to develop something new and a huge opportunity for him, this is understandable when all that happened, considering what happened done is speculation about its influence in the crypto world.

What is the best step, to make this wish come true?
What are Elon Musk's chances in your opinion?

I support your point of view. Now investing does require a lot of knowledge. If you don’t have relevant professional knowledge to buy virtual currency, you can easily lose your property.
I really agree and agree with your response because in investing, you must be observant to see opportunities as accurately as possible

Bitcoin starts with pre-investment research, buying, mining, promotion, selling, to monitoring the market, investing in the stock market Bitcoin is the most common way to play stocks for beginners to gain investment experience because Crypto currencies like Bitcoin are one of the most popular ways to play stocks. not under the auspices of the government, therefore for us beginners in investing how to play Bitcoin stocks we need extra foresight by not rushing to buy and sell stocks because it has a very large risk of loss so we must read and analyze the market movements first

Re: Is Staking Coins a Good Idea?
by
Khumaidi
on 23/08/2021, 09:03:42 UTC
APY means yearly interest for your coin that staked in the network. Staking is a good idea but you must have known about all of the risks. When you're staking and you must try to stake on the platform that will not lock your token and did vested for your reward.

How much you can earn from your staking totally depend on how much APY that already offered by the staking platform. More APY and you will get more token as the reward for your staking activities.

Let's say you will get 120% APY and when you're doing staking for a month and you will be earning 12%, 6 months you will be earning 60%. When you are fully staking your amount for a year and you will earn 120%

really agree with what you said but we have to think about all the risks of loss

will there be a miracle of bitcoin to shift conventional currencies
by

Bitcoin is touted as a new miracle in this century, it has become an alternative to complement the needs of financial transactions at the global level now, Bitcoin can then be said to have succeeded in establishing itself as a universal currency, because we can say that Bitcoin is very qualified as a money because it is durable, rare, shareable, and recognizable, Bitcoin became the currency of the virtual world on its way Bitcoin (BTC) transactions exploded and shocked. The product is selling well and becoming a prestige of individual wealth in the international world, however, many are pessimistic that Bitcoin will be able to shift conventional currencies both at the local and global level, will there be a miracle of bitcoin to shift conventional currencies

investment and loss anticipation

Talking about cryptocurrencies, of course, it doesn't rule out investing or stocks, in this case, of course we have to be careful in investing because investing also contains risks. The risk here is to lose funds or other assets when the investment does not live up to expectations or even fails. Yes, it is true that we cannot invest and then only expect profits without understanding the risk of loss, but to warn of all possible losses, what steps should we take?

Anticipate competition

⭐ Merited by Ratimov (1) ,Silver80 (1)
Ethereum, litecoin, ripple, stellar, dogecoin, cardano, eos, tron and bitcoin are types of currencies - cryptocurrencies that function as a medium of exchange using cryptography, will one day be used to compete with banking electronic money. Maybe if there is competition between cryptocurrencies and banking electronic money, of course, the government will take policies such as blocking or trespassing, so for example it is an anticipatory step, what steps should we take?

Re: Alternative Block Chains : be safe!
by
Khumaidi
on 10/06/2021, 14:02:16 UTC
I haven't seen anybody post about what would be my biggest worry if I were trying out alternative block chains. I realize this may be perceived as "Gavin is FUD'ding anything that isn't bitcoin!"  (FUD == Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt)  But I think some of you might be forgetting some basic computer security fundamentals in the excitement to be early adopters.

When I first heard about bitcoin, my questions were:

1) Can it possibly work (do the ideas for how it works make sense)?
2) Is it a scam?
3) If it is not a scam, could it open my computer up to viruses/trojans if I run it?

I answered those questions by:

1) Reading and understanding Satoshi's whitepaper.  Then thinking about it for a day or two and reading it again.
2) Finding out everything I could about the project.  I read every forum thread here (there were probably under a hundred threads back then) and read Satoshi's initial postings on the crypto mailing list.
3) Downloaded and skimmed the source code to see if it looked vulnerable to buffer overflow or other remotely exploitable attacks.

If I were going to experiment with an alternative block-chain, I'd go through the same process again. But I'm an old conservative fuddy-duddy.

If you want to take a risk on a brand-new alternative block-chain, I'd strongly suggest that you:

1) Run the software in a virtual machine or on a machine that doesn't contain anything valuable.
2) Don't invest more money or time than you can afford to lose.
3) Use a different passphrase at every exchange site.

In my opinion, the password used must be varied so that people do not easily detect it, by adding a password in the form of numbers or letters. To secure the site, we need to periodically update our anti-virus when browsing
