Re: Do you believe magic real?

What do you think about magic ? Huh every time we enjoy it, but some people believe in magic and some people don't.

Magic real or fake ?
Tell us about your own consciousness,

I believe that there's real magic and there's also what we call magic tricks as well.

Although I couldn't prove real magic and magic tricks are pretty well documented already, but I do believe that there's indeed an art and craft behind both types of magic.
Every magic is real until someone decode it, there are lot of magic in the past we have been think it as black magic has been revealed as just pure tricks used by them to cheat our eyes and make us to believe that these things are happening in real.

Yes, I agree.

But until all the magic tricks can be debunked, it still remains to be proven otherwise, of course.

I like this way more than the virgin galactic and other, way less pollution.

"New company Space Perspective wants to take you to the stratosphere via high-altitude balloon"
https://www.theverge.com/21294039/space-perspective-stratosphere-balloon-travel-tourism-world-view

Finally! We will have a way to go beyond the sun. We might even touch the dome. Grin

Great! Grin

Bottom line, how much will it cost for anyone to actually book a flight up there and when is the soonest possible time for anyone to actually do so?
If you read the article you'd see " $250,000 a seat. She expects tickets with finalized prices to go on sale next year. "

What I actually meant to ask was, what would be the actual finalized selling price (not an estimate), including when specifically (not a time frame only) instead.

Re: Which country will be the Next world power

World power has been a dynamic most developed country strive to become, we have heard of times the Romans, the Greeks and even the Germans have been world powers, and they influenced the world with their domination. Now the USA is said to be the world power. From all indication, there might be a new world power in the near future.
What criteria will bring a new country to world power. Through Cryptocurrencies, solutions to Pandemics in health, philanthropy?. Please share your opinions. Thank you.
China is the strong contender to become the most powerful nation but still USA is far ahead of them in terms of GDP and military power. You can see any news media to find what is going on between USA and China in the South China sea.
russia should not be overlooked also , considering their recent contribution to the pandemic. And you can agree that their military power is a contender.

For any country to become the next world power, there must be a real purpose or goal behind such ideas for any country of ever hoping to reach and/or achieve such global status.

And I totally agree that both China and Russia are the top contenders indeed. It's simply just a matter of interest and reason for them to actually push themselves past the USA for such global status in the future.

I'm celebrating having good wifi after months of not having it by watching a lot of Netflix. I've seen a lot of stuff but am always on the lookout for a good show / movie.

What else is out there on NF that I might enjoy? Movies or shows is fine.

If you haven't done so yet, you might want to try out the "Old Guard" starring Charlize Theron. It's an action-packed movie indeed that hopefully would spark a sequel and trend for Netflix produced movies. Cool

haven't had a good laugh in quite a long time. reading your replays is just awesome. also a good channel for making fun of flat earthers: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRtsZ5Iak9wSLsQLQ3XOAeA
there are still many people who believe the earth is flat... (✪ฺܫ✪ฺ)
I once went to a village and then met one of the old ladies there, she said that the earth was flat and had a tip there, honestly it made me laugh a little.

But the real point isn't those who believe it. Nor is it those who disbeleive it. Rather, it's the ones who know it.

Believing implies opinion. Knowing implies science.

Cool

Those are understandably good and valid points to consider under the circumstances since a lot of other people often do a "knee-jerk reaction" instead, rather than having an open mind and discussion about ideas.

Honestly, fiction or non-fiction at all re: flat earth theories (or whatever theories for that matter), I don't know why those agains flat earthers are "butt hurt" more often than not.

Not really political but social.

But the problem is, unfortunately there's a lot of people who are either political and/or anti-social instead, that's why.

Be positive, not negative. Be truthful, not deceitful. Be honest, not bogus.

Removing negativity is a good reason to be happy.
However, if you are going to work every day you receive a lot of negativity there which is sometimes difficult to be removed during your day.

Yes, I do understand that it's quite difficult to avoid negativity since it's a part of everyday life when interacting with other people which you don't have any control over.

But I do believe in the mindset of looking at a glass that's half-full rather than saying it's a glass that's half-empty because there's always pros and cons to every situation no matter what the problem is all about.

And this mindset throughout the years has greatly helped me overcome a lot of problems, to overcome a lot of unhappiness, aside from trying to focus on still trying to achieve my own personal goals.

I still to afraid to go on holliday due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Originally we made plans to go to Greece for 2 weeks, but I do not know what to do.

Shall I stay home and cancel my trip?

Holiday plans can be rescheduled, but you can't reschedule if you got afflicted by COVID-19 instead.

I like how Earth is flat but Moon and planets are actual planets.

Interesting thought about the Moon (and planets) = are actual planets. Huh

I will not write evidence, because you can find them yourself if you look well. Therefore, I’ll just say that the Earth is not flat, and not round either. More like a donut. But not really. This is a very complex multidimensional structure. It looks different from space.

Now you are talking about how insects with multi-faceted eyes see the earth.

Cool

I love sci-fi stuff, whether it's life imitating art (or fiction), or the other way around instead. And the only difference for me really, if it's proven a reality (or not) eventually. Cool

According to Roberto, revealing the truth is important.

anyone wants to know the truth behind satoshi Nakamoto, but this story didn’t have convincing evidence, Olof Gustaffson didn’t show pictures of satoshi Nakamoto, didn’t show at least any proof that Yasutaka Nakamoto Is satoshi nakamoto... as Olof Gustaffson hopes that community believe this story? I personally am the first to declare that I do not believe this story. It looks like Olof Gustaffson wants to associate bitcoin with drugs which is a very bad thing

Yeah, this is more like a "what if?!" scenario for conspiracy theorists rather than a "wtf" scenario instead. Roll Eyes

Re: Have you ever regret anything about the past?
by
KiloFoxtrot
on 08/07/2020, 16:08:00 UTC
Year 2017 was I entered in the crypto world and the same year my regret was I didn't sell my all cryptos when the price was in peak, the market was bullish. I'm so greedy that time that I didn't sell all my cryptos until the price went down suddenly. I missed the big profit that time.
That peak is coming again in 2021. I guess it happens a year after every Bitcoin halving.

I entered crypto after the 1st quarter of 2018, so I arrived at a point wherein I missed the bull run and I wasn't that much aware yet that it's going to be bear market from that point onwards.

But knowing now what I wasn't aware before, is something that would more or less prepare me from what's yet to come after the Bitcoin halving recently.

Re: Do you feel safe going outside?
by
KiloFoxtrot
on 08/07/2020, 00:49:29 UTC
It's causing a lot of stress when I get back home. Wondering if I somehow inhaled it from someone, only feeling relief many days later when no symptoms developed.

To be honest, I could relate to being paranoid somehow.

Don't panic. That's the worst you can do at these times.
First understand that covid-19 is not a fatal disease. The number of people dying from it are due to many other causes like old age and low immunity. Majority of people are recovering from it and defeating the virus. Even in the rare case you get infected with it, all you have to do is maintain your health for the next few days and eat good foods and you will be fine.

But what I do instead, is not to let my worries affect what I can or cannot do under the circumstances, with respect and without prejudice to the concerns of other people as well.

More importantly, as long as I've read and understood what I needed to do in order to prevent myself from getting sick, or be afflicted by COVID-19, this is the barest minimum of protection that anyone can get for themselves and their family.

Re: Coronavirus Hoax
by

I know a sham when I see one.  The Media Industry is putting a lot of effort into this one in order to sell more papers.  I wonder if they're using this for another cover-up as well.  Yet another lie, you know the drill.

I don't believe that the COVID-19 is a sham. But it's totally possible that certain entities are riding along and taking advantage of the pandemic instead. Angry

I don’t think the coronavirus is a hoax. The negative health effects are very similar to the flu, but I understand they are more severe. I also understand that it may be more contagious. This is hard to say for sure because most cases have originated in China and the Chinese government is not exactly most transparent in the world.

The flu will kill around 61k people every year and there are 10s of millions of flu Illness annually. The fatality rate is much lower for the flu, but it is difficult to know the true death rare for the coronavirus because of the lack of reliable information.

I agree.

Re: Robots to massage my head, neck and limbs?

I wonder if it's possible to buy a robot that will take care of my body which will massage my head, leg, hands on demand for hours and unlimited time till I desire! That will ne a heaven come true!

Yes, anything's possible of course. Grin

For the meantime though, there are numerous other options to consider i.e. aside from actually doing some exercise for yourself (if possible), you can always get a massage from a massueuse (the old fashioned way), and/or get a massage from a massage device/massage attachment/massage chair that you can use to manually help you get a massage or automatically get massaged instead (since there's lots of new technological devices created throughout the years). Cool

I will try to help other people if they needed and I know that person really needs help. So far, I try to help people around me but to be honest, I can not work alone, and I need other people to help each other. I hope that you can help more people that need your help, and you can be still healthy while you do the best thing for life.

Life is hard enough as it is for a lot of people even before the pandemic happened.

That's why for those people who can actually afford to do so, please don't hesitate to help others in any which way you can. You can either do it by donating in-kind, money, and/or your time instead, whichever is best under the circumstances that you're in.

Re: Stocks For Passive Income

Remember, there’s a reason that rich investors like Warren Buffett say to buy and hold forever, while the neighborhood get rich quick kid in his parent’s basement says to actively trade stock options...

This strategy worked like magic for those bitcoin early adopters! Grin

Hi guys! So I used to see stock trading as a side thing, not realizing how effective it is up until i heard you can actually make six figure profit outta of it. and i kinda need advice on stock for passive Income.
are you serious asking this in crypto community?why not ask in the other side where stock people do things?

I agree (as my right eyebrow raised itself in unison). Roll Eyes

Yes, it's true. No obligations and it's hard to achieve especially if you are the bread-winner of the family. You shoulder everything but yeah achievable but it will be a long road and has to build several income sources.

Stocks are also volatile so that could sway from 5 digits worth of dividends.

It's gotta be a dream come true, in what country you live OP? I think the lifestyle and cost of living there is too high.

Good luck OP with your journey, should you consider bitcoin IMO.

Words of wisdom (above), more specifically re: "Good luck OP with your journey, should you consider bitcoin IMO."  Cool
