Thankyou  I altered the bat file with your recommendations but it still runs at -i 4
I'm trying to run nicehash with the software you download from nicehash and use the 3rd party miner option
In nicehash folder open config folder and open something.json file with notepad++. There is one file for each gpu. Then find equihash settings and write -i 6 in extra settings or something like that. Than save the file and open nicehash program again

Thanks mate that worked a treat.
incase anyone else is wanting to do this its the .json benchmark files.
Scroll down to equihash and put in the -i 6 as shown below

"ExtraLaunchParameters": "-i 6",

You can also add these setting within the program.

Settings > Devices/Algorithm > choose your device > select your algorithm

And then you can set the extra launch parameters.

IS GPY  allready dead for this coin
http://www.ufominers.com/zcash-equinox
looks like bs to me.
also do the calculations - 900H/s = 5*rx480, 120W*5 = 600W, 250$*5 = 1250$...
WHY?Huh

A single Radeon Pro Duo produce 1000 H/s and uses 300W

It cost about 1200 USD here in Denmark

Hi guys. Its me with the weird R9 280X doing 205 Sol/s

I know that my wattage seems weird and they are.

I changed my wattage to 150W (my highest measurement) on the comparison page:
https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/ZCash_mining_GPU_Comparison

I tryed to check my wattage even further and i used 2 different methods this time.

1. method is a high-grade wattage-meter sitting between my PC and the power plug.
The meter is a Telco Sensors ST2300A aprooved by one of the biggest power-companys in Denmark (SEAS-NVE).

2. Method was calculating the wattage from the data showing in GPU-Z (Voltage multiplyed by Amps)

And here is my results:

WALL:
Idle: 155 - 160 W
Mining: 290 - 310 W
135 - 150 W
(I'm only using my R9 280X)

GPU-Z:
VDDC: 1.133 - 1.146 V
VDDC Current: 83 - 104 A
94 - 119 W

Hi, what is the model of your R9 280x ?

Its a Clud 3D R9 280X 3GB RoyalQueen

They do use some power when idling too, you need to add that to calculations.

If you have one powered riser and a spare psu it is very easy to check. Wall - meter - psu - (riser + pcie power connectors), so only one psu that feeds only that one gpu connected to meter.

That leaves only speculations for psu efficiency.

I dont have any risers. I only use my main computer.

But yea. What would be a precise way to measure it.

good hash with rx 480....i do an average of 200 h/s

Can you submit your result's here -> https://en.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?title=ZCash_mining_GPU_Comparison

I've just submitted this :
Sapphire    R9 Fury X    292    1050    500    6    Claymore 8.0    16.11.3
Sapphire    R9 390X nitro    288    1040    1500    6    Claymore 8.0    16.11
Sapphire    R9 390 nitro    271    1050    1500    6    Claymore 8.0    16.11

Thank you so much.

The more cards we get in that table, the more we can help each other and ourself, toward better and more efficient mining.

With regards to the gpu hashing at 1000 h/s its a radeon pro duo
R9 390 hashes at 300 h/s with 40 compute units

Pro duo has 128 compute units hbm memory and tdp 300 watts

Please add your result to the GPU Comparison table.

https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/ZCash_mining_GPU_Comparison

Thats is some insane speed.

I have changed the wiki page, so its no longer restricted to the Claymore V8.0, but instead is a comparison table for ZCash in general.

I copied the data from the old table to the new and added a column for the miner version.

Hope you will enjoy this and please add your own results to the table.

I have sorted this list alphabetical:

https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Claymore8.0_card_speeds

for better reading!

 Wink

I was actually thinking of sorting it with GPU.
Oldest to Newest.

BTW. it was me who splitted the column "Card Name" and added the 2 columns "Brand" and "GPU" instead. Cheesy

actualy i sorted to alphabetical and models yet

v.9 caming soon)

I will be changing the wiki page and add another Column for Miner version. I'm on my way to work right now, but the changes will happen within 6 hours. I will be providing a New Link if needed.

We need a spreadsheet like this.

Since in not able to fund my own Company, do to my low income, i ask you Guys for help to make bitcoins my living.

Every Little counts.

In return. I will help every member on BitcoinTalk to get started investing in bitcoins wisely, for FREE.

And heres a Little success i had so far. In february a friend of mine donated 220$ and now a month later, i turned that into 600$.

All donations can be giving to this BTC address: 1Donate1ohpgttWYU5t2mPk6B3CfZR6TSq
