Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency?
by

I think we are really getting ahead of ourselves here. We should all be focused on something for now. We are yet to see Bitcoin even reach its goal. We still see some countries completely ban Bitcoin. And some are looking to regulate it in the most unfavorable manners. Prices too have not been at the very best. So, we have some quite more pressing matters to pay attention to. After then, we can consider whether or not Bitcoin will be outdated.

Re: Definition of the word "elite"
by

on 30/08/2018, 17:40:36 UTC
Lol, so, to be elite means you must be evil now? I think I disagree completely. Any dictionary disagrees with you too. Elite means the top folks in any field or sphere of life. The very best of the best that is. So, I do not understand where your own definition comes from. Let's even assume for a while that your definition is right. Is killing these your so-called "elites" gonna change anything? They will be simply be replaced by some other persons.

Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin?

People will always be people. Filled with their negativity and pessimism mostly. But one shouldn't really do anything for their sake. If you're investing in Bitcoin, the opinion of your friends shouldn't really matter. Especially if you've done your research properly and you're sure it's the right financial investment option for you. Very many people don't even have sufficient information on Bitcoin. So, in this case, they are certainly bound to have the wrong opinion. You might opt to educate the reasonable ones. Maybe someday they'll also change their minds and join the ship.

Re: How Blockchain Technology Can Help Cure Cancer.

This is really cool. I have always thought anonymity was more of a problem for the society. I guess I was totally wrong. The more Blockchain exists, it seems the more utility for it is developed. I'm really looking forward to the exploitation of this technology in medicine. Data development can actually go a long way in improving medical methods. I really hope this information will be used judiciously. I feel the discovery of the cure for cancer is long overdue.

Re: Maybe someday there will be clarity about who really Satoshi Nakamoto?

I doubt this will ever happen. And this is for a number of reasons. Some people ever suggest that the man might be dead. How sure am I that it's not even a female? But he/she's has not really been active on this forum. Although that's not evidence enough. Discovering his identity is all the same of no use to anyone. In short it is neither of any use to the currency. I think things are much better the way they are at the moment.

Re: Does it bother you if your wife earns more in a month than you ?
by

It totally depends on the partners that make up the couple. If they can sort themselves properly, things will be fine. There are some cultures however that make it difficult for the man to be comfortable with earning less than the wife. Some women will naturally become arrogant and less cooperative with the husband. Some husbands too might lose some amount of confidence due to this. I personally will not like to earn less than my wife. The key, though is that both partners should be comfortable financially and understand each other too. Financial issues in marriage are really delicate.

Re: What comes to your mind when you think of Japan?
by

Honestly, I cannot claim to have any indepth knowledge of Japan. But there are little patches here and there. I know there is a high level of technology there presently. Animes too do not cease to come to mind. Also the legendary movies about the Samurai remind us of the high regard for honor in Japanese culture. Just like most big Asian countries, martial arts seemed to be a major part of Japan's history. But sadly their role in the Second World War 2 also comes up. The tale of the Kamisake pilots and how they were ready to forego everything for country. In short, there are indeed many interesting things that come to mind.

I totally get that feeling. You work so hard to obtain something. And then someone wants to acquire it so easily. But the truth is very simple. You should still strive to help as much as you can. And in every situation possible too. You too have to admit that you had some help at some point or the other. Even if not in Bitcoin trading, at least in life generally. But of course, you shouldn't permit anyone to be a menace to you. Anyone who will not be patient in learning really doesn't deserve any help.

Wow, that's really not cool. I had actually like to know their reasons though. I really do not understand why. Anyone knows why? This kind of limitations make Bitcoin look criminal. I'd really appreciate a link to some official statement or something. But then it doesn't really affect much. I hear Facebook reversed their ban on Bitcoin ads. So, I won't be surprised to see these companies go back on their decision.

I couldn't agree more with you. There's a great vacancy always. Someone is always needed to take the initiative. It is the initiative that always bails others out. And the earth has a reward system of being kind to these risk takers. This is why employers will forevr be onhe rencieving end ofthis reward. They have learnt to fish. Re: Why people don't vote?
by
Kimberley_Isham
on 23/08/2018, 04:43:31 UTC
There are certainly a lot of reasons to not vote. The political setup is most countries of the world today is really messed up. It will take a lot of time and effort to even effect a very little change. And some people might honestly have just lost faith in the whole system. They do not believe that any of the candidates or aspirants for office have anything to offer the general populace. So, what is the point in wasting your time then? Others in less developed countries even think that their votes don't count, elections are rigged anyway. Honestly, if you consider that your votes don't count or none of the candidates is time-worthy, what is the point in voting in the end?

Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy
by
Kimberley_Isham
on 22/08/2018, 05:31:51 UTC
The issue is not so much about age or marriage. Though, honestly, I must admit that it is beautiful to get married in your early or mid 20s. That's if of course you're marrying someone you truly love. So, I think the major issue is not about getting married or not. Either of the couple would have had to cater for themselves even outside marriage. The major issue is child-bearing. Before bearing children, a married couple should ensure that they have properly examined all the economics needed to raise these kids. Otherwise, they would only be creating a new or continuing an old cycle of poverty.

Re: Transgenders.

This is truly appalling. It will be interesting to know which country that is. I am confident that it is not peculiar to that part of the world only. People generally tend to act very untoward to people of different belief or orientation from them. This is really sad. But I must say that personally I am totally against the idea of transgenderism amidst others. I believe it will only lead to the collapse of society. But this will never lead me to  show hostile behaviour to them. They actually need our help and love.

Re: I've made 600k in Crypto - When to call it quits

Wow, interesting stuff. That's quite a lot of profit there. How many years precisely did this take? It seems I'm not even anywhere as experienced as you. So, it feels weird that I should be on the advising end. But then, I will say what I would do if I were in your shoes. I think I would sell a good percentage and keep some in the system. You also see how much profit you've made over time. But one must also be careful to know where to draw the line. So, sell some, keep trading the rest. More like a win-win situation.

Re: Do you think Humans are virus for the earth?
by
Kimberley_Isham
on 17/08/2018, 06:12:14 UTC
Man cannot necessarily be described as a virus to the earth. We more than just feed on the earth. I think if my knowledge of biology is not that rusty, then viruses don't add value to their host. Man on the other hand gives to the earth. In many places and times in history, we have beautified the earth and made it a better planet. In other circumstances, we have also been viruses. So, it's a give and take thing. We uproot trees and harvest plants. But we also plant and nurture the vegetation too. And viruses don't do that.

Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?
by
Kimberley_Isham
on 16/08/2018, 15:16:51 UTC
I totally get your point. But you are failing to see something very important. The fact that Bitcoin is called an investment makes even a greater percentage of the population consider it. You say it is gambling. To some extent, this might be the truth. But then the big question arises. How many people does it sit well with to know that they are gambling with their money? Concerning regulations, this is certainly bound to happen. If Bitcoin will keep growing the way it is, the government will and can not leave it unregulated. So, it's not necessarily a question of what is called.

Re: BTC parabolic bull run will not happen everytime
by
Kimberley_Isham
on 01/08/2018, 23:24:08 UTC
While most of the people are awaiting the massive bull run like in 2017 winter again, it will not be a case again.  While I wish BTC to go into new ATH before the end of this year, I think that reaching 13K to 14K gradually testing every pivotal point before the end of this year is more realistic and more healthy for the market too.

I am bullish in Bitcoin doesn't mean I am expecting parabolic run every time bulls ticks on.  The 20K level that bitcoin reached last year was a enormous craze and mostly FOMO and/or may be manipulation which will not happen again and again.  So, the people who bought at 20K will have to wait for few more years for that massive bull run to return, that's why they always says "patience is key".
If we could predict the future or return to the past, then everyone would be billionaires. Investments in general are very unpredictable, and when we deal with a decentralized system, which is influenced by so many factors, we can not give clear forecasts and can not have any guarantees. One just have to be patient, wait and believe that bitcoin will grow. And I think that the fact that this will happen gradually is a very good news for investors. The roller coaster for business and investment is not very good.

Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins?
by
Kimberley_Isham
on 31/07/2018, 21:57:09 UTC
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet. In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??
I'm sure that goverments will not be able to block all sites and hack wallets. The principle of decentralization protects us.
Despite the fact that many states are trying in every possible way to prohibit the crypto currency, they simply can not stop the interaction of citizens with the network.
Thus, to prohibit bitcoin is simply useless, since its code will correspond more quickly than the next ban on its use will be ready.
Even the most severe punishments and prohibitions, do not stop users, but only warm up their interest in the crypto currency.

Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency?
by
Kimberley_Isham
on 30/07/2018, 22:33:57 UTC
I just wanted to  know what are your plans on your cryptocurrency in the future?

Do you plan to keep on investing?
Do you plan to exchange your crypto in fiat and leave crypto?
Will crypto survive?
I'm new to the crypto currency market. And I'm sorry that I did not start to be interested in bitcoins before. But, I think it's never too late to start. I'm glad that many experienced investors and traders are optimistic about the future of this market. This adds confidence.
My plans are the following - I want to buy a few more coins and plan to wait at least until the end of this year. It is necessary to have patience and watch how the market will change.
I think that in the near future there will be a lot of new currencies. If they interest me, then I will buy a small amount.
