Oh my god, seems like the block explorer went down:
http://block.bitcoinplus.org/
https://block.bitcoinplus.org/
Or is it just a problem caused by an expired authentication certificate?
(the browser states "connection is unsafe")

Yes, Romano is the BEST dev !!
There definitely is no better dev than him out there

That's too much praise... You're such a sheep. The only thing Romano has to do is to be better than BTCDrak, the old developer of Viacoin who thinks his co-developers at Bitcoin Core respects him, lolz.

Promoting the ATLANT scam while at the same time chosing the nickname "scambust" LOL, give me a break
Say about BTCDrak whatever you want, at least he was never promoting such useless, blatantly obvious bullcrap.

I'm rather a sheep than a scammer

If Polo trollbox wouldn't have been disabled, Viacoin would likely be valued $3 already.
Because the word "VIA" or "Viacoin" would probably have been mentioned a thousand times in the trollbox, over the last couple months.
And only a couple hundred investors more, would have made all the difference, that's for sure.
Blame Polo for that.
Looks like all the weak hands are now shaken out from Viacoin.

In case the rumours are true about the crypto-exchange ban in China, we will probably never see VIA traded at YOBTC.
Maybe we should focus on getting VIA listed on as many additional exchanges as possible, preferably those which generate consistent volume.

We could try getting Viacoin listed on Kraken, HitBTC, Livecoin, Liqui, Bitsane, Bleutrade, CoinExchange and BX Thailand.
C-Cex could be a waste of funds, as they are known for delisting coins with too low volume relatively fast.
These exchanges could potentially be open-minded for listing Viacoin, as they already have many dozens of markets listed, as you can see here:

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/kraken/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/hitbtc/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/livecoin/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/liqui/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bitsane/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bleutrade/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinexchange/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bx-thailand/

Even getting VIA listed on just half of them, could help with some additional daily volume coming in.

A listing on southkorean Bithumb or japanese Coincheck would bring in the most volume, but will be difficult if not outright impossible to get VIA listed there,
as they so far only have a few markets of the big, major coins that have high market-caps.

Their homepage is:

You're a nice guy Wink

By the way Otoh, I remember you mentioned that you might be able to get Viacoin into the Chinese exchanges, how's that going ?

Ah yes, many thanks for the reminder, it was this post, I can't remember if I asked them about adding VIAcoin back then but will do so now anyway, finger's crossed:

btw, I heard from my BTCC contact yesterday that they'll be adding DASH and some other Alts in a few months, I must ask them to make sure that VIA is on the list.

"Hi Otoh,

I apologize for the late reply. We haven't introduced DASH and the other alts on our exchange, but we're planning to do so over the next months. I'll let you know once we do.

...."

Edit, just checked, I had asked them back then as they'd asked which I'd be able to do some Alt market making on when they listed a few & I've now sent a reminder.
Thanks for the efforts Otoh!

For anyone new to crypto (or "Technical Analysis" guys)
BTCC is a Chinese Exchange https://www.btcc.com

I have to feeling a lot of people don't get this, but getting added to BTCC would be a huge deal. It will probably gets more attention than the Segwit adoption and activation.

And this is market making https://youtu.be/Guqs3eOgm6o
china alt big market:
bter.com
jubi.com
yunbi.com
yuanbao.com
plus.btcchina.com(aka btcc.com)
btc38.com(fail)

Another chinese exchange with Polo-like volume for some alts is:
https://szzc.com/

The chinese usually demand bribery money for listing small coins.
Maybe its time to establish a token-based voting system in VIA where the owners of coins can vote for or against proposals (like in Dash), but rather having their vote weighted by the balance of their accounts,
if the tokens are still there when proposal deadline ends.
(exchange accounts or tokens which are in the property of exchanges should however be denied any voting powers, and for various reasons)

We really should think about introducing a constant, self-sustaining funding mechanism in VIA, by creating a VIA treasury fund.
It could be done by introducing a tax on miners, about say 20%. This way miners would receive 80% and the treasury 20% of the block reward.
If need be, we could extend maximum supply size to 25,000,000 or even 30,000,000 coins (or something in-between), and thereby increasing block reward, so the miners wouldn't get hurt too much.
Indirectly miners would profit too, by price increases related to a well-funded treasury able to fund the forthcoming of the project in many ways.

95% of all the coins suffer badly from lack of funding, because ultimately every third-party implementation or integration costs a lot of money.
But many projects seem not to realize or simply deny it...
Not to mention the urgently needed bribe money to buy away most resistance, wherever encountered.

I don't get it?
Not really going up, it is going back(which is up) to June 21st values(88000). 300k is not out of reach but might take some news with tech.

All it gonna need is styx, then immediately 300k

A common reason for 2FA auth failures (wrong codes) is,
because it only generates the correct codes if the DATE, TIMEZONE and TIME on your mobile device is accurate.

Try the following:
Go under the "settings" section of your mobile phone, under DATE/TIME settings.
Then check the checkbox that says "Synchronize date/time from the network provider / telecommunication operator".
After having checked this checkbox, the DATE & TIME of your mobile device should be OK. (as long as you have network signal)

Then it should also generate VALID auth codes, when you try them again, they should work.
If the time on your mobile phone is off only by 1-3 minutes, it can/will generate wrong auth codes, which are invalid.
Let me know if this worked out for you.

Re: POLONIEX FRAUD SCAM
by

on 02/08/2017, 01:29:17 UTC
People need to FREAKIN STOP SPAMMING POLONIEX SUPPORT TICKET SYSTEM with their PEANUTS-RELATED BULLSHIT !!!!
And start realizing they bring their support ticket system to its knees.
Poloniex got buried in tens of thousands of support tickets, 90% of them probably related to deposit and withdrawal amounts of less than $50.

Real investors and real traders who want to do some serious trading (amounts greater than 1,000 USD) are suffering because of this shit,
as they need to wait just as long for having their support tickets processed. And they incurr much higher time-related risks and possible losses due to delays.

I wish Poloniex would simply FREAKIN BAN and/or IGNORE all traders who keep less than 1,000 USD balance or make deposits which are significantly less than that.
90% of traders there who probably account for 1% of trading volume (combined) are bringing Poloniex to its knees with all their stupid mistakes and all their bullshit.

At the VERY LEAST, Poloniex should priorize the processing of the support tickets based on each account worth at present (or peak account worth within the last 3-6 months).
Poloniex, if you are reading this: IT'S LONG OVERDUE TO PRIORIZE THE SUPPORT TICKETS ACCORDING TO ACCOUNT VALUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Coinpayments.net is pure evil scam

Chances are that (at least) one of your customers denounced you @Coinpayments for some type of misbehaviour or broken promises.

Furthermore, unless the jurisdiction you are residing in, isn't a third world country,
chances are that you are technically breaking the law by accepting other people's money for engaging in trading activities.
(unless you are officially a "professional money advisor/consultant" or "professional investing/trading business relying on investors capital",
registered with the district court/chamber of commerce or other authorities/agencies depending on your jurisdiction)

Most civilized countries simply require such a registration, to halt and discourage frauds and scams perpetrated by thiefs and con-artists,
as they are usually reluctant to reveal their name and true identity by registering (if they have intention to steal from their customers),
and thereby offer some protection to their population.
Some countries like the U.S. may even require your customers to have an "accredited investor" status, depending on the securities or the
level of risk involved in trading those securities on their behalf.

However, if you have not committed any wrongdoing and always acted in "good faith" and in the best interest of your customers, i agree
that Coinpayments shouldn't have frozen any funds, but rather asked for an interview or conversation, in order to evaluate the situation.
If they refuse to work with you in future, i agree that they should have given you a warning or a time-frame until when they will close your
account with them, but at least process the last transaction/s. (as long as there are no strong reasons not to)

I started to ask Pooler from litecoinpool.org.
Right now it's getting "stalled" by F2pool

Looks like somebody forgot to pay Wang Chung
Can it be any more obvious?
