Interesting project, the use of blockchain technology in the AgriTech sector has significant implications on securing food supplies and introducing efficiencies to benefit grower and consumer. The use of NEM in this field (no pun intended) is not new and is down to the simple but powerful REST API interface.

Personally very excited by the Pundi X project as they already have EPoS systems for merchants to use and will accept crypto-currencies including NEM. It is another validation of real world projects on NEM blockchain and good for the whole of the cryptocurrency ecosystem

Japan has traditional been the launch pad for the NEM blockchain although it is truly global with projects developing in all continents and plans for the opening of more Blockchain Centres.

NEM is rapidly expanding from its perceived base of Japan. Stong moves by the foundation this year to spread the word around NEM blockchain and how easy it is to use because of the RESTful endpoints and API. The second half of 2017 has seen big announcements coming out of Australia and now New Zealand.

Watching the last episode of Inside NEM the suggest was that even if you can't code but have a really good idea you should submit it and the organisers will try to pair you up with others that may have the coding skill but lack the creativity.

Worth a go? $30,000 in total prize money would come in very handy for many I'm sure

The section and use case for ioNEM was very interesting. Full of potential ready to go now on the NEM blockchain

The required firmware update to Trezor has occurred. Nano wallet now need to be updated. Looking at the GitHub repository the necessary code has been combined into Nano version 2.0 a week or so ago. I'd imagine an announcement and release a days away

For those in the community that want to help raise awareness of NEM please use Twitter. Follow the hashtag #NEM and the official NEM Twitter account @NEMofficial. Preference would be to add unique comments, remembering to add both the hashtag and NEM account, but retweets would also be useful (within reason). Highlight the uniqueness of the coin and movement rather than the price, also worth following @poloniex as the exchange for NEM.

@Coingecko also looks an interesting Twitter user to follow but I have only been following for a few days so make your own decision
