Re: Kingofsports - How much does the former owner owe?
by

Can someone do the math for me?

I will need the amount loan, negotiated amount willing to settle, and the lendee's username.

I also want to know how much a hero member account is worth with neutral trust.

I have seen someone is selling a hero account for 1.1 BTC and he have sold some already, basing from what he is claiming.

I bought this for just around 10-20% of that. But, it didn't have so much negative trust when we agreed the deal. Since the amount was transferred to escrow, I agreed on it.

If it is only worth 1BTC, then I suppose paying the lenders of someone else so much is not a feasible option.

Buying a negative trusted account is useless. You will get something like this.

I just did a mistake. I bought this for pretty more than this amount.

Re: Rollin.io - signature design contest (0.25 BTC Prize) (No entries)
by
KingOfSports
on 01/02/2015, 12:29:17 UTC

What I meant was that the winners copied from both these designs. Am I only one to see that?

No. But they did not copy the codes.

No offence, I have seen many instances in which the winners here, who will copy the concept quite easily and distinguish it with a different design. They post their designs towards the end of the contest so as to take maximum advantage of competitors and already has a good reputation base.
I honestly prefer certain other submissions over the current winning ones. Even if they put some common design as they usually do, they will be seen as done something impressive.
Here are some suggestions to avoid this:

1. Post your design as an image. this has been adopted by many participants quite lately. But image or not, the professionals never copy the code, they copy the design and distinguish it professionally.

2. Post your design around the end of the contest or face the risk of losing the contest to them, making a better, distinguished version of the same.

I didn't play today nor will I play the 24 hour ones. Yesterday you had to be with in first 1 min to be paid. It will only get worse because it becomes to high of risk. The weekly is more fun to me because normally you can make it through twice and you have to choose about the third time.

I will make this offer and hope others will match. A big problem with weekly number 2 is people know there it is short 20-30 BTC. If the Op is willing to catch the game up by putting in whatever the amount should be I will either donate 1 BTC to his cause or I will throw it in at the end to try and get it moving. I think there is plenty of time to push that to 500-700btc if the missing BTC is covered. Is anyone else with me on this. The weekly is more fun because you are not racing for seconds. The daily will keep dropping and tomorrow you will have people not paid that deposited with in 10 sec. The shortest it should be is 3 days.

problem is, last weekly players already lost 200+btc . so definitely this weekly it'll be slow. mine is still in line to be paid, and even with 30btc it wouldnt cover it for me. as far as how a ponzi goes, the early one's are the one's who make a good profit. problem happens when the same person spams multiple 1btc deposits. OP should atleast limit 1 deposit per address per round, that give's a lot of us here a better chance. just my 2 cents.

OP already tossed in 20 BTC, another honest user handed back 6.5 BTC, but with only one user giving anything back, and others boasting about keeping the double pays it's tough to ask the OP to sacrifice everything when the user base is so tough.

I understand. I am not going to hold it against him. I am just trying to get a way to get it moving which will give him more BTC from fees. Yes it would most likely be a loss for that week but it would solidify him as the best operator. People are still feeling that the weekly is screwed because of the missing 30 BTC. I am willing to help get it moving because if we can get it to move it doesn’t matter how much time is left. It will take less than 24 hours to get the high volume.

If I had more BTC, I would have helped this one. I will put some in tomorrow.

Tomatocage put himself in this position when he decided to escrow it. He should pay you the amount.

The purchased account, the OP and Tomatocage (if he pays the seller) should all get negative trust as they helped a confirmed scammer profit.

I really disagree with this.

TC is not at fault because he was just an escrow. If he had not agreed, the transaction would have been done but with another escrow.
I did not pick TC. He did.

I am not at fault, because I was not aware of this loan. The real KoS, did not mention it or anything. While I checked the trust, most of them was "this account is sold" and stuff, whcih is not against the rules. It is his responsibilty to mention it, not mine.

KoS did not make a profit from this. Even the time required to become a hero member is worth 10 times more than this.

Can you prove you're not the real KingOfSports   or not ?  If you can't then you should repay the loan ... and maybe after they will remove the multiple negative feedback.

If I provide you my real forum account, what is the guarantee that you will not put feedback all over there?

This was actually bought for my friend, but I am not going to transfer him this account with a 1.8k negative trust.

2. Please remove all trust positive or negative given to me. Or at least change it to neutral or so.

Tough shit. Why would you buy an account with so many negative trust, then bitch about it later?

Hey on the bright side, you're a popular kid on the block.

PS - I don't even fully believe you purchased the account.

Really. when the deal was made, he was not having 1.8k negative trust. It was really around 20, 30 or so.

I transferred the funds the the escrow, but could not back out. So the deal went on as usual.
I would have been willing to settle the loan if it was say for 0.1 or 0.2 or so. But 2BTC is too huge for me.

Fine, if you don't believe me. But can you tell me whether I should remove the trust feedback given to some of the members? I already removed the one to Vod. And any help on what I should do?

Honestly, I regret buying this.
In the grand scheme of things, it was $30, a gas tank, a dinner date, a night out at the movies. Oh well.

@the new owner, since I know your real account, how did you not see all the hate towards me in the gambling threads? You always are on there...easy clue to see who he is, is look for accounts that ALWAYS use smileys...its him. I'll give you a hint, it begins with a "W" and thats all I'll ever say more on that. Honestly, new owner it might be better to come out of the closet so to speak and say who you are if you are gonna try and convince people to give you trust for this account.

Anyways, I'm enjoying the freefall BTC is having so I've been lurking. I have no BTC anymore but its fun reading the speculation threads. And the off-topics.

Personally I'd be proud of your purchase, you own the 3rd most untrusted account in all of bitcointalk. That should be an honor. For only $30 too!

@Haploid, the new owner speaks like a child. "Yay I own this account", LOL if you think thats me. Hell I honestly think the new owner IS a child (<18) honestly. He was accused once of being someone else and he acted like a little detective "Ok let me find out this, hm I'm still looking SMILEY". If you think that guy is me, as he would say "thats all fine and dandy!".

I'm an arrogant asshole but I'm not a child. The funny thing Haploid is within the past month you've bought BTC from me, sent money and all. From an alt I own of course (and in the process of selling, would you like a senior account for 0.30 BTC?). But its funny since you are Mr. Detective. I'm glad to be out of BTC though so I thank you for your help.

Carry on now.

Well, yeah I don't really mind much because I got it for 0.15. But really, I didn't notice all these things.

I am not sure what I should right now. Need advice.

1. I am removing all trust given by the previous owner for false reasons. Please post here if you are one of them.

2. Please remove all trust positive or negative given to me. Or at least change it to neutral or so.

thank you Smiley
