I also believe that after Ethereum will be no minable anymore, Ethereum classic will be popular, since all those rigs will need something to mine. We will so though.

Thanks a lot for your answers fellows. To answer the first 2 replies I agree with your logic, but what happens when you don't have the funds to buy the coins you want to, but instead you have some equipment that can get you some?
And I mean to mine with a small profit (small but profit).
In this case is ethereum the best option? I believe that yes, instead of looking for anything else. Maybe there are other coins too that can do the job. I don't know.

Hello all,

I was lately checking the options for minable altcoins and apart from ETH I couldn't see anything else worth mining at the time being. I know that mining is almost dead now, but considering a future altcoins price increase, Ethereum seems the safest bet.

When ETC 2 come, then things may change.

What alternative options would you consider for altcoin mining?

Just a quick question. If you mine for example, ETC, can you store it in one of these multi-wallets? I mean you get an address from the wallet and you just paste it on your miner and whatever you mine it goes there?

Excellent!!!

I would like to add another rx 580 (or something similar) but I was not sure if the mobo and the psu were able to cope with it. I have been told that I could add only cards that are identical. Since I can mix them that's great.

Thanks

Technical question!!

Hello all. I have a question. I have a gaming pc with an rx 580 8gb. mobo gigabyte z77x-D3H and psu B700H 700W.
My question is if I can add another graphics card of different type. For example an Nvidia 1070?
If I can, can I use both at the same time for mining?
If I add another 580, can both mine equally?
Thanks in advance for your help.

For some reason, I believe in ETC and KOMODO.

It's just my feeling that these 2 will go pretty well.

What do you guys think?

Guys, I have a question. Newbie here. When you buy a cryptocurrency from a trading site for first time, is it stored there for future trading? Or you have to move it in a wallet?

Thanks to each one of you for the great info. I understood that you can store you mined coins in a single wallet as long as they are supported from it. Also when you mine that coin you need to enter the specific coin address to the miner (you get the address from the multi-wallet).

Also you can get the original wallet from the coin you mine, so you have one wallet for each different coin you mine (more secure).

I'm mining coins that are from 0,5-10$ value!!!

Wallet for different altcoins.

Hello all,

New to the scene here and I have a question. When you mine for different altcoins, do you have to have different wallet for each? Or you can have 1 wallet and use it for all the altcoins you mine?

Lets say I have a wallet in |Trust Wallet, can I use that address for storing different altcoins that I mine?

I hope that you understand what I'm trying to say. Sorry but my English is not so good.

I was thinking to try 1660 ti, but I was sceptical about the 6gb ram.
