Haven't been around for a while, sorry if this has been answered before.
I'm using the linux wallet with the wrapper script (thanks for that) on ubuntu 14.04, 64 bit Added all the nodes from the OP to the conf + had about 20 there from earlier.
My wallet syncs fine after a while, but takes a LOT of cpu to do so. (2 cores at 100% for minutes) Also the second indicator on the bottom left (the little bars) show very low number of nodes connected. (getpeerinfo shows it is in fact only 2 nodes)
Is this normal? Have you had a chance to take a look at the popup text issue / compiled a new wallet?
CPU usage may be related to staking, not to syncing. Does it drops later from 100% to 5-7%?
I have very low number of nodes too (5 right now), if it helps, here's my peerinfo nodes: addnode=103.243.107.35 addnode=82.247.42.194 addnode=209.126.68.4 addnode=78.39.220.250 addnode=5.228.160.106
Considering popup text issue - it's planned for wallet update, but doesn't implemented yet.
Hmmm. Could be staking as of course I had some coinage being offline for a while. Although it was really prominent during sync, cpu dropped right after it finished - then I immediately staked twice, so not sure. Thanks, added these nodes & they're happy. re wallet update - that's fine & thanks just wanted to make sure I haven't missed anything.
Slavic people are not working much. They are drinking a lot of vodka and sleeping 15 hours/day. ICO investors have to hold a long time
fine by me, means more interest.
yes i bought at ico price, yes im still buying. in for a penny ...
Yep, Welcome to the club. Either visionaries or bagholders, but definitely a club

While we wait in hope that the dev returns, has anyone else noticed the stake rewards seem off? I've staked for around a month and the amounts seem much too low to add up to 50% over the year.
Yep. Same here, not even 5%. More like ... I don't know maybe 3.
I love these ico scams. just yesterday I lost .05 btc on this one at 500 sats. and now I can sell at 60 sats. Yes, this is the best! I can't wait to lose on the next one too.
never buy anything at ICO price. Real price gets decided once it launches. 99% of the time price dumps right after ICO and then it goes back up.
+1.
99% of ico goes down right after the market opens. If it doesn't, you can still get in at a pretty good rate if you're quick and watching. But don't stay up, you have 1% chance
About C-Cex - I do like the platform tho. Also they have many new coins, and ...some... volume compared to noname exchanges.
(edit: or maybe some more proper discussion? - about anything)
I don't care for FUD, trolls, or personal attacks. If you have something constructive to add than please do so , otherwise look elsewhere.
Well, all right then, I have to say I enjoyed our discussion mate. OK true, we argued about GAW and ponzi / not ponzi; but we discussed more interesting and generic subjects like inflation, innovation etc. It was a good one. And thanks for the links, I'm off to read now.
See you around.

Is this all? No more fud and throwing shit at me?
(edit: or maybe some more proper discussion? - about anything)
@ Kisokos: If you believe one tiny bit of what you are saying, why are you wasting time posting here? If you believe in GAW's lies you should be busy buying more XPY right now, after all you will be able to sell them for $20 soon, right? Shut your piehole and go BUY some XPY.
Heh, thanks, I did, I did, when it was half of the current price, now I'm only here because I enjoy the argument. (and keeping an eye on the exchange so I can get out in profit whatever happens) Look back, I wanted to leave, but they kept me here.
I would never have guessed that.
Yeah man. Guy comes at you with stuff like he did - just look back - of course you stay around and poke his balls with some proper logic
Logic is something that you clearly do not have a grasp of, at all. You say you "are only here for the argument", which is total BS. There is no argument here. There are people stating the facts and an asshole completely ignoring them for the express purpose of annoying people for his own twisted amusement. Go shovel some sidewalks or something so you can buy some more XPY....
Wow, that's a nice argument. Hold on a sec. Who's the shill now? Are you really? Hah I found a shill! Now I wonder who's it is..... let's see...
Duh, ok. I just heard half-truths and plain FUD from coinfire, so I stopped reading them & put in the pile of horseshit never to touch category.
ZincSave was the company purchased (which got banned by amazon)
There are other sources or you can just read the merchants TOS yourself and figure it out if you cared about the truth. Or just use some common sense and realize that merchants aren't happy that clients can be directed to their competitor or lose a sale with this plugin.
Agreed, that whole process looks a bit backwards to me.
It's not that complicated. A company- GAW, can use a cryptocurrency as a vehicle to orchestrate a ponzi. In this case, continue one being that they likely have a history of fractional reserve mining which is a form of a cryptocurrency ponzi. [/quote]
It is in fact very simple. If you trade a crypto currency on an exchange you can not get "ponzied". You can get dumped on, but that's what stop loss is for.
