Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.5 (Windows/Linux)

Hi!

Is it possible to use the "-r   Restart miner mode" Option even when are no Cards have issues?
I would like to have the miner stopped after a defined period of time (e.g. 12 hours) and to restart/switch to a other coin/walletwallet for 12 hours and then again Switch back.

So at the end i´m looking/asking for a coin/wallet switching possibility in a chosen timeframe.

thanks!

V10.3 just awesome  Kiss , Hash rate increase by 5-7 %
Oh really? Then please tell us how this works. It seems you´re the only one having luck.
I noticed zero difference in Performance on two rigs updated to 10.3 by today

Pci Bus is shown, it is running so far... but Performance wise 10.3 compared to 10.2 is not a single perctent faster.
Rig Config: 8x Sapphire Nitro+ RX580s 8GB @1175/2225, Win10, AMD Driver 17.7.2, Claymore 10.2 and now 10.3 with same Hash: 31.x/Card or 249,x Total per Rig

cheers

Hi BitPanda Team!

What about other Alts in general but Ubiq in special?
I think "some" people in europe would like to see Ubiq [UBQ] -> https://ubiqsmart.com/ -> https://discordapp.com/invite/HF6vEGF on a reliable exchange (in europe)

thanks, regards

Hi Ubiq Friends, Miner and Supporters,

please vote for UBQ at "Altcoin.io Exchange User Suggestions":

https://altcoinexchange.featureupvote.com/suggestions/2024/add-ubiq-ubq

Pool Operators could consider temporary putting the link onto their pool sites to inform their miners... would be cool and could help spreading the word about UBQ

thanks, KleinerMiner

Meanwhile many ubiq owners/miners have noticed that some (a hand full) users here have nothing positive to say about ubiq.
I personally think this is okay (even if they´re just posting negative things regardless if true or not), everyone should have ist own opinion.

But why the hell -when ubiq is just scam and shit etc. in your individual opinions- you guys are not just quit from this thread and go to the end of the rainbow (alternative coins) where everything is legit, fine and you can make big $$$ within ultrashort time?

I dont say you´re stealing others or my time. No. It´s still exciting and funny to read in an ubiq thread peoples statements that ubiq is evil and everyone is just fuc.ked from the team and so on.
Don´t get me wrong, i´m in mining since just 3 months now, and in my understanding this is a mid- to long term coin (so no rainbow, lambos and chicks ala sex drugs & rock´n roll within days or weeks) but you guy´s are just complaining and crying like little Girls and (again: in my opinion - spreading FUD).

Finally... to check alt crypto charts every day multiple times, and awaiting a huge rise, and saying everything is shit because it´s not rising... i mean wtf? Are you guys 12yr old Boys or what?
So considering to switch to a coin thread where you smart guys believe it´s legit and worth would be healthy for you peoples minds because you would be able to focus on positive things instead of (in my... again opinion) troll around.

Hi!

Pretty sure this is a ridiculous question for you guys but i´m pretty new in mining (especially in monero mining).
I´m using claymore  Miner and everything is working stable and fine.
Also the rigs Performance is (i think) okay... 8x sapphire nitro rx 580 8gb with roundabout 5700-5800h/s with sucking ~940W from wall.

The only weird Thing is that the miner shows me lots (i mean really lots) of "Dev Fee Share Found" Messages.
I mean nearly every line says Dev Fee. wtf!?

Is this normal? On the other side nanopool.org tells me roundabout "correct" hash power.
Are there any hints regarding this question?
And no, i do NOT want disable dev fee and other dick stuff... i´m not asking for this -> just would like to know if this (see screenshot link) behavior is normal.

I missed something or just me think ubiq is a great coin.
from the moment I bought some is just sliding down

First, you´re  for sure not alone thinking ubq is a great coin and has a great future.
Second, from my point of view... keep calm... good things take time

Thanks man.....hhaha, you got me though.....what's a Discord Chat lol?

Hi, directly from the discord.com mainpage: "All-in-one voice and text chat that's free, secure, and works on both your desktop and phone. Stop paying for TeamSpeak servers and hassling with Skype. Simplify your life."

It simply replaces the Ubiq Slack Channel ( http://slack.ubiqsmart.com/ ) because of some "limitations"

It's so sad you guys are so enamored with lies. I provided my sources and your answer is "if you dont like it fuck off". I'm just trying to help you. The devs lied to you and I provided proof. I can only lead a horse to water I cant force it to drink.
Hi! I try to be an open minded Person. Thats why i started mining 5 weeks ago because i´m interested in it.

So you -and everyone else- can call me newbie but i know the ethereum hype (i think it was may 17´) is gone. To be honest, i think it was over being efficient when i started but, it was the reason i started thinking about mining from the technical aspect.

And exactly this was the reason why i started mining ubiq from the very first second on instead of ethereum. And for sure i will mine until i got my ubiqs count togehter.

After this... at the very end i ask you what alternative you would suggest mining (with roundabout actual 0.5gh/s @ amd polaris Cards with ~0,2/kw/h). I think lots of people would like to hear this.
What i know right now (dont know if this is correct) that dagger hashimoto and ethash are the most suitable algos for my two rigs.

The Thing is... i fire up google and just get "ubiq, one of the underrated currenciews..." so near everyone else seems to be really positive, regardless the Technology.

UBIQ news will be released today/tomorrow (confirmed by team member in slack) retweet this:
https://twitter.com/CryptoNickD/status/903243945471291392
A good news -in my opinion- would be the support or a announced partnership of UBIQ from TenX (https://www.tenx.tech/), which looks more than just promising too.

Hopefully, it is not "only" about investors, which push the price (and thus the difficulty) further up after Holiday season.

Egoistically, as I am ... I would like to still mine one or the other UBIQ before it hopefully goes to heaven Smiley

Is there some particular news that made todays rise in price?
That would be really interesting because the difficulty increases so strongly the last hours.

Goddamnd, I hope the whattomine listing & interest disappears fast, difficulty goes down again so I can still mine a few ubiqs before it really starts going crazy.

which miner is the fastest these days?
thanks
In my opinion claymore.
My Rig Reports with Version 9.8 247.x mhs with 8 Cards running @1175/2200 with wattman, autovoltage, at a total power draw from wall with 1150w wich gives me roundabout 30,x mhs/Card at ~100w/Card (Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB Hynix)

But if someone knows a faster one please drop a line.

We need a graph to show mining distribution. I can't seem to find it. Sad I want to see which pools are the largest
Hi, short answer: ubiqpool.io is in fact (date of post) the largest with 49,5% of the whole ubiq cake.

I think you´re seeking for something like this: http://www.ubiq.cc/ or this http://www.ubiq.cc/networkpools

Besides, meanwhile i do recommend supporting smaller pools (some of them have lower or no fees at all)
Half of the cake in just "one Hand aka pool" seems to be against the non centralized thoughts for me.

I was using ubiqpool.io the first weeks too, but then they started having issues. Right now i´m at ubiq.minerpool.net (4,5%) since a week and pretty happy with it.
At the very end you will get roundabout the same results during longrun comparsion regardsless of you´re mining for a smaller or the biggest pool.

Looking for more hashpower on our pool!

http://ubiq.spdns.eu/

Still 0 % fee
Uncles paid
no tx fees!

lowering the payout treshhold to 1ubq would at least bring me into your pool for a shot.
Still seeking for a european pool compareable to ubiqpool.

**************************************************************************
Weird situation right now...

Claymore 9.8 reports 237mhs all the time, pool stats say short/long roundabout 210mhs.
No rejected shares, miner fresh started (same numbers)
Any hints what can cause these (imo huge) diffs?

Good pool that is paying and working.  I tried ubiq pool. I would just get stratum not connecting error.  Tried us and eu and use and eu2. Any other pool you all would suggest
After ~two days trial i just switched back to ubiqpool because ubiq.minerpool.net has massive issues (at least for me) the last 24-48 hours in counting immature balance, pending balance and finally paying out.

Since the Switch back to ubiqpool it seems to be running more smoothly. Still higher pings, but hey shown stats regarding balances are "back to life" again within minutes here.
Most important, they started counting upwards instead of doing nothing.

After one hour i get the feeling that switching away from ubiqpool because of the higher pings was a huge mistake (at least for me) because i lost roundabout 7 coins a day.

This is how it actually looks for me:

.) minerpool: 0,39ubq in 7.5 hours (since last payout)
.) ubiqpool: 0,32ubq in one hour (the first since switching back today)

Difficulty the last hours is roundabout the same, so this cant be the issue

UBQ has already fallen from the whattomine top ten, which gives me hope that the difficulty sinks again to a normal level.

Something around 30 is horrible... wanna mine some more before its hopefully finally getting upwards.

For sure beginners questions...

.) Why the hell has the difficulty raised so much within the last 12-24 hours?
.) With the coming epoch Switch it will be again more difficult to mine ubq.. so whats then?

Until yesterday i made roundabout 8-10 ubq/day, right now it looks like half of this just overnight  Undecided
Hope this gets better/faster again ... at least a bit

Due to massive troubles with eu.ubiqpool.io (3digit pings are normal, but today since evening partial 100% losses of testpings too) i switched to ubiqpeon (located in germany, really low ping times, also the miner submits shares way faster) and have the same issue.

The rig is running and submitting, but no balance is shown :/ (runs on pool a couple of hours)
Will wait till tommorow morning. Strange, because i get stats and the miner also reports submitted shares.

:edit:
Ok, my fault. After modifying the bat file the stats came.
Must say i'm really dissapointed cause after 5 hours and a bit of math ubiqpool is producing/getting more milk.
So i swiched back again, have tripple digits share times, but a testping seems to be ok now (no more losses and ok ping respones)
