Hi i see the network of bitcoin have not many miners like i thought because of pools i guess, is it possible then to start solo mining for example with 25 TH/s and catch block with little luck??
Thank you in advance for your time.
I actually prefer not to solo mining as its consider gambling. And I prefer primedice for that..

Prefer to have only 1 currency and everyone use it, instead of a lot of currency and you have to convert every-time you travel.
These things are WAY over priced. $1100 $795. 3 S3s will give you similar hash rate and just slightly less efficient W/Ghs wise at just above half the price. Its a no brainer. And of course there is also the C1 which isn't as efficient but the price is right.
^FTFY. if you think $795 for 1.7TH/s is 'WAY overpriced' you should really find another hobby
the equation is this;
Your belief in Bitcoin vs price of hardware vs your electricity costs. nowhere in this equation is the efficacy of the miner, as you fail to mention the efficacy of the miner in your own statement. you're welcome.
Its overpriced, 1 TH/s market price is less then 1 BTC right now...
If anyone has any mining equipment that they no longer want/need because it uses too much electricity with the current difficulty to make much profit.....if you don't want them I will GLADY take them off your hands. Let's just say I have free electricity. I split the mined profits with you even if it's something worth doing 500GH+ or something.
I remember when my 5GH/s miner would easily make $175 in a month. Now a year later I'm lucky to make 52 cents in a month...wtf is up with that.
For some reason, asic still have good price on ebay. So I believe it's easier to sell then to ship to someone else hopping for some share profit..
Hello, I was wondering how do companies like bitpay, coinbase, circle get their bitcoins to sell to their customers. What is the concept of Market maker and does it apply to such exchanges ? If I were to open an exchange like coinjar or coins.pH in my country how will I be handling the bitcoin selling to customers. Where would i be buying the bitcoin from ? Specially if sending money outside the country is only through expensive methods like western union who charge enormous fee and the project won't be viable. I am expexcting more bitcoin outgoing then incoming so expcting to cover the sales from that won't be possible?
Please advice
Regards
Duke
Well, in order to sell bitcoin their customer need to deposit bitcoin. And in order to buy bitcoin you need to deposit USD. Tada, you don't actually need to own any money to start an exchange..
