Re: Why do pools fork their own blocks?
by

...
I know that block 912721 was in both UpdateTip events the same, clearly visible by the same hash. I was just surprised why it would need a second UpdateTip when this block 912721 wasn't realy affected by the fork of block 912722. It was block 912723 which decided what branch of the former tip of 912722 should be followed as the "true" blockchain (most accumulated hash work).
It updates one block at a time. To go from old 912722 to new 912723 it has to count down making 912721 the new best for only a fraction of a second before continuing with the new 912722 and 912723.

When 2 users of a mining pool find the same block number at the same time, one has to fork.
The second block 912721 minutes later was not a new block, it was the new best known to your node at that moment after block 912723 removed your block 912722 as best block.

Which wallet works with Trezor safe 5 on Tails OS? Trezor Suite cannot connect, Electrum Litecoin cannot find the device.
Still no solution Roll Eyes

Have you seen this?

Yes. Its high risk:

I would HIGHLY recommend that you backup your Tails instance before running this script. I've seen some of the portions of the script corrupt the persistent volume if the right thing goes wrong at the right time. Be warned!!!

LTC transactions take longer to confirm. Some miners ignore fees under 3 lit/vB.

Tyvm. Your faucet donation came at a bad time. It took 4 months to get back.

But I want to know what wallet are you using?
At the moment I don't know which wallet to use. Tell me please which wallet should I use? Which will allow me to send 0.0000004 BTC.
No wallet will allow this. Ask your local miner for help.

⭐ Merited by ABCbits (1)
The best way to learn is by practicing, therefore, for anyone who wants to try BTC, it is a good idea to practice & understand through the testnet first.
No, it is not the recommended way don't make shit up. Bitcoin is hard to use already and learning about testnets, switching wallet configuration and whatnot will definitely lead to funds loss. All it takes is for the user to make a mistake once, confuse the testnet with the mainnet coins and send his real coins to somewhere where he can't recover it. Terrible advice.

Testnet is only for developers, always has been.
It is not possible to send testnet coins to a real bitcoin address.

Re: Trezer suite lite showing multiple addresses when i only did one transaction.

My Trezor Safe 5 is brand new.  I sent a btc transaction from coinbase to the Trezor.  However when I open trezor suite lite and view the transaction there is a "from" and "to" section.  When i click from, it shows the address it came from(coinbase).  When I click "to", it shows the address that coinbase sent to(my trezor wallet), but whats concerning me is it also shows 26 other btc receiving addresses.  Why?  Is my device compromised?  This is the only transaction Ive done so far.  Also, is it normal to still show receiving/pemding after 40 minutes?

Don't listen to sokani, they're wrong.
Coinbase handles transactions in batches. You and 26 others received their withdrawal in this one transaction. This is normal. Waiting 40 minutes "pending" is normal too. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it is faster.
