Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains?

According to my opinion, I think It's income and should be taxed. There should be a tax on capital gains because it's income and the current law is that people pay taxes on their income. If we want to debate or reform that policy, perhaps we should, but then it should be targeted at all kinds of income taxes, not just capital gains taxes. Getting rid of capital gains taxes by themselves is simply a way to cut taxes on the rich, because the rich make more money through capital gains than poor people do.

What is your thought on this matter?

On the Federal level for short-term, it's whatever your tax bracket is, long-term it's 15%, then add State taxes and in some cases local taxes on top of that.  However, I'm against this current ruling by the IRS, taxing gains on crypto to crypto transactions.  They want it treated like an "asset" because it gives them the most income.  We have a convoluted tax system and then add the complexities of cypto trading on that.   Huh Huh

User Case the next step to Mass Adoption

I wanted to get a "vibe" or "feel" about the next evolution in crypto's are going to be.  The high uncertainty in the current crypto market calls for the next development phase or "evolution" of crypto coins into sustainable long-term projects with what some have been calling "User Case".  I'm a huge proponent of User Case because it shows people outside the crypto community that there is value in cryptos and also there is this whole undiscovered world where people trade in digital currencies and it's currently the wild west so to speak  Wink

Some projects I've been following and excited about where they're going are:

1. SuperiorCoin -  A CryptonightV7 coin (I love privacy coins) A decentralized task creation platform called Kryptonia (like Fiverr), and now they're developing an exchange platform on https://kryptonia.io/ so people can move bitcoins there and buy SUPCoins and create tasks.    I believe future plans include a decentralized blogspace and tasks on kryptonia for Twitch streaming

2. HTMLCoin A Sha256D coin (hybrid ETH and BTC) is now developing app games https://www.htmlcoin.com/roadmap games people can play and earn Crypto currencies.  Next, they're going to move to so called "casino games" so people around the globe can compete against each other similar to WSOP etc.

3. Akroma - Ethash coin, dubbed by some as the "Ethereum Killer" because they use Oracles, the quickest way to summarize it, it enables info outside the blockchain to flow into the blockchain https://akroma.io/, they also have Smart Contracts.

4. Aircoin an ERC-20 Tokenhttps://theaircoin.io/, building fun Apps, currently the PokemonGo like game is really popular and it allows other currencies to be included.

5. Tron if everything goes well, should be an awesome decentralized platform for everyone especially in today's over politicized and centralized world.

These are just five that I think of off the top, what about you guys?  Do you think "User Case" is the next step leading to mass adoption?

A Simple Dumb Question.

What if BITCOIN is DIGITALIZED but is being LITERALLY MINED like Gold and Silver ( MINED OVER 6 FT BELOW THE GROUND )and has a lot more value than gold, would you consider it to have an increase value over time? ; D

And If it is would you rather dig your house out of it or just stay on your sit and buy some of it ; D

This Question is Only For Dumbs Grin Let's Talk About Different Things Once For A While ; D

Edited: I think that would be more clearer now Grin

Perhaps they should include Bitcoin mining in Minecraft  Grin Cheesy Wink

Heck no, not when the Qatari's are bailing them out.  In Geopolitical terms, Qatar is being isolated and blockaded by it's neighbors , so they're trying to build up any alliances they can get elsewhere.  Personally I believe the only thing holding back the other Arab nations from completely shutting out the Qatari's is CENTCOM.
