Re: Do you still believe in the cryptocurrency market?
by

If you’re still in crypto after you’ve:

- been scammed
- been dumped on
- woken up in complete shock
- bought the top of a pump
- panic sold the bottom
- listened to Official McScamFee

Say me why do you still believe in the crypto Smiley
I have surely passed through some of these issues before. But they don't kill my belief in cryptos because I was aware of these things before I joined.

I keep reading some really desperate people on a forum (other than this one) and they seem sure that crypto is dead, because it is scam etc.

Crpyto is not dead. Don't be stupid. HODL.
I find them very funny and how they are trying so hard to paint cryptos in a different paint. But I want you to know that their statements don't determine how cryptocurrencies go. Keep on holding and don't be convinced by their talks, it goes nowhere.

ICOs are getting mature with their operations, most of them are handling it properly like an ordinary startup with legal consults.

Promising or not, ICOs is still a good way to get funded. I would consider ICOs as well if I really want my idea on board.
Yh sure, there are now good strategies that have been put in place to ensure that ICOs are viable. It is really getting better as compared to previous months in this year 2018.

Re: ETH to hold now or not?
by
KobbyD
on 12/09/2018, 19:12:28 UTC
Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?
You are not alone, I have seen a lot of people selling their precious ETH because of fear. This is the time for risk takers to gain. Buy more now and hold. I won't advise holders to give away ETH for dollars now, keep and even try and get more.

What altcoins are you guys picking up for cheap in this dip?
ETH is around $170 now. Comparing it to the previous months, it has become very cheap to buy. It will be very good to buy more ETH now as a lot of people are even selling them out due to panic.

Re: Are you currently developing a new cryptocurrency and/or blockchain project?

Although cryptocurrencies are really booming, not every random person can develop a new cryptocurrency. It needs a solid hard-working team and capital. It also needs a very viable project that has come to solve a problem or enhance something.

Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always?
by

The blame has always been given to the hunters but this is never true. Some investors mostly get their tokens before the hunters and before you will get to the exchange platform, investors are already dumping.

Re: How safe is our money in crypto?
by

on 09/09/2018, 15:42:23 UTC
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.
Aside from hacking, the money that you will put into cryptocurrencies can depreciate to a very low value. The luckiest thing is that, after taking on this risk, only one coin can make you rich.

a few days ago ethereum experienced a drastic decline. and it turns out it's currently under $ 200! My personal predictions are wrong, and may not be true. what's the next step?  Huh Huh I think vacationing is a good idea while enjoying a vacation !!
Don't try to quite ETH. It won't keep on declining forever. Remember that, the whole market is red and not ETH alone. It will soon get on it toes and to the moon, we will go again.

Re: When will ICOs die?
by
KobbyD
on 08/09/2018, 10:21:28 UTC
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
I think you are referring to ICOs in general, but I strongly believe that ICOs will die when cryptos, in general, are no longer trusted and valued. Think of BTC. ETH and all other altcoins no longer valued and trusted. That is when ICOs will die gradually. As long as the market remains, there will always be a new project(coins) coming.

Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward?
by
KobbyD
on 08/09/2018, 09:51:38 UTC
Doesn't surprises me much. In many cases, the bounty rewards are delayed by months. The participants may get their tokens many months after the bounty program actually ends. And if the participant is short of funds, then he will not think twice before off-loading the entire bounty reward in some exchange.
Good comments. Do you believe that when tokens are given earlier before exchange it can help solve this? I was wondering and I think it is quite will be good if tokens are given earlier before the exchange. The trick in my mind is that bounty hunters are busy and they really don't have the time to follow project(not all but most of them). They are always busy hunting, and if that is done they might not know too quick if the tokens hit exchange.

I'm actually new to this industry and i want to earn some money without putting some in the line(A.K.A investing) and i doubt myself that i could actually know how to manage my coins is there any way to earn money that would kick start me in this industry?
The best way and easiest way is to invest your money in a promising ICO or those top coins already on the market and various exchanges. You can consider the first top 20 cryptocurrencies.

It is true that 2018 would be the year of security tokens?
what are they?

Security tokens? I think it is quite unclear. But if you mean tokens that have security projects backing them, then I agree to that, because of security hunt will be on the rise and security tokens will be interesting this year to a lot of investors.

Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers
by
KobbyD
on 07/09/2018, 23:59:58 UTC
This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.
Good idea, that means if an attack comes, it will come to my public wallet which at that time might not contain money, or contain only one coin. But with that, there is still a cost to pay, since transactions might require a fee. Do such transactions require some fees? I like the point about a public address, you can use those address on public spreadsheets as well.

Re: Huge tokens during Bounties
by

I noticed a just ended bounty campaign and a participant got 80K tokens. I was wondering what h will do with that token. I want to know what happens when bounty hunters gets more or huge tokens during campaigns.
The allocation of pool given to bounty campaigns is not as huge as you see it. Getting a lot of tokens does not really matters but how well it will do on an exchange. It is a good advise to hold tokens especially such a huge amount. You might not get it back after selling.

Now all the markets are crashing down and I don't know what to do with my altcoins. My briefcase fell 30% in a couple of days. I'm afraid I might lose more. Selling or hodl?
This is one of the hard situations We the holders face. This is not easy to decide, What I will personally do is to hold on depending on how the team of those tokens is working. If the team is quiet and kind of inactive, then I will sell half of the tokens. If not then keep holding all.

There are a lot of speculations about ETH which I don't believe. Some are saying it will be replaced by a different coin. The worst I am hearing is that ETH will die off. Hahahaha. All these all not true, ETH is declining like all the other coins on the market. When the bullish run sets in, All will be well.

ICOs are not dying as people are claiming, and ETH is a very good coin to hold nowadays. With ETH you can switch to any other existing or new coin out there. It can also rise surprisingly and you will make a huge amount of profits. ETH should be held, If trading, it is advisable not to sell all. It feels good when you hold Ethereum.
