Did anyone receive any request for additional information in relation to their claim from the liquidator as they stated they would in their letter from 17 July?

I haven't so far.

Accepting Bitcoin in Indonesia

Hey all, I'm Dutch so excuse me for using English, but my Bahasa Indonesia is only slightly better than non existent. Wink
I'm in Yogyakarta right now and was trying to set up a charity so they could accept Bitcoin donations, but apparently Bitpay doesn't offer the option of exchanging to Rupiah. What is the best way to accept Bitcoin in Indonesia? What options are there?

Thanks in advance!

the pictures look  great!
tell him to do some pics in australia and I would happily pay some BTC for a pic of me or my gf... or some friends.
maybe we could send him pics of us and he does a drawing and sends it back ? or to much stuffing around ?

Thank you very much for the compliment!

We would happily receive an e-mail with pictures of you and your girlfriend and send you a high-quality digital caricature. This is the way we usually operate.
Usually we get orders where people would like an original gift for friends/family.

Just choose the type of caricature you would like on http://www.karikaturen-online.nl/karikatuur/bestellenengels.html and e-mail us: info@karikaturen-online.nl.
Please make clear you're paying with Bitcoin so we can give you the 10% discount.

We keep all payments in Bitcoin by the way.

Also, larger BTC holders looking to sell will get a better price when selling off the markets to funds like the BIT, this will happen more and more.

Overall I'd guess the supply that's for sale has gotten slimmer, but it's harder to determine the supply than in the past and it will keep getting harder than in the past.

don't dare e-mail them either, cost us another 1%

1% at the moment seems a bit steep don't you think Wink

Did anyone contact them in the past few weeks? The absence of communication is ridiculous. They should've at least e-mailed "The 6 month report will be delayed" to all creditors.

I PM'D Roger Ver this week and he told me he heard the liquidator has gotten hold of the passwords to the Gox accounts, so hopefully we will hear about the progress soon. The report is due soon anyway.

FYI the BIG BTC, which is running now, had 56 players show up for it today!

~8 coins FTW / 26.6 coin prizepool

HUGE IMO

Got disconnected twice in the first ~40 minutes which is pretty ridiculous.  That tourney cost too much money for me to justify playing under those conditions.

I just had a disconnect and couldn't log in for more than 5 minutes. Sad

Re: "Man buys $27 of bitcoin, forgets about them, finds they're now worth $886k"

I used to play a lot of poker.  Even semi-professionally for a while.  I'll never forget the "boom switch" that was flipped on when an "average Joe" named Chris Moneymaker won the World Series of Poker in 2003, for $2.5 million, on a $40 initial investment...

People eat that shit up.  Everyone wanted to get involved all of a sudden.

We could be priming for a huge bubble, which hopefully doesn't undermine Bitcoin's real value and innovation - not as a "get rich quick" scheme.  I suppose only time will tell.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_Series_of_Poker_Main_Event_champions (notice entrants after 2003)

The difference is with poker people thought they might be able to do the same, but with the Bitcoin situation people will often think: "It's gone up so much, it can't possibly go up any further." This is a key difference so I don't think this will have much effect at all.
