Running ancient bitcoin clients
by

Dear all.

I am looking to run bitcoin core version 0.1.5 which was released in February 2009. Obviously the download links from sourceforge are now long dead. It is my intention to run this software in a Windows virtual machine with no network connection for testing purposes.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Windows binary?

Many thanks.

I give $15K for this rig Smiley

I will give $16K, I cover shipping.
Payment via BTC with forum escrow

Alternately, I could could just sit on the rig for 9 months and make that $16k myself and still have the rig, and that's not taking any bitcoin appreciation into account. It seems the prices of GPU's have fallen though the floor since last summer.

You know, looking at the prices of second hand 1050 Ti's online, it makes more sense for me to just hold on to the rig and 'run it into the ground' as it where.
Exactly what you said last thread.. yet here you are again..

I don't why you are so keen to hijack the thread anyway. What has it got to do with you?
I like to shit on shitty sales threads. Or I get off on making people angry. Or I have nothing better to do. Or I'm at work and bored waiting on code to compile. Take your pick.

Yeah, so just a troll basically. Probably don't even mine. Least I've still got my rig ay?

So what? You denounce it?

This subforum is getting worse on a daily basis, I know, yet it's  too much, asking 3 times the price of a brand new setup for a used one.

What asking price?

If you don't want to buy it, why are you posting on this thread? It's got nothing to do with you.
It is what we do in a forum we discuss. Selling stuff here is not like putting an ad on a billboard. Newcomers have a right to be aware of scams and other types of threats (like what you do: overpricing attempt).

By the way, you avoid announcing your asking price, why? You prefer fishing in private? Wink

Like I said before, there is no asking price. Furthermore, what is an "overpricing scam"? Oh no! I mean't to pay $X but accidentally paid $Y. I hate it when that happens.

It appears to be $45,000 from his previous communication.
To OP - would be good to have a few pics and more specifics on the setup (if they are similar), rather than having it done through PM.
For those who missed his last thread, he was looking for $96,000 for the setup.

As stated there is no set asking price. I've no idea where the $96,000 figure comes from. The $45,000 figure was from a private message, it's not an asking price. Otherwise I would have mentioned it.

Selling up and running GPU mining rig in Kuwait, x96 NVidia 1050 Ti's

Dear all.

I am currently mining on a custom built GPU mining rig in Kuwait. The specs are 96 NVidia 1050 Ti's. The whole setup consists of 12 separate units, each equipped with 8 GPU's. Note that I am not selling just cards, but the entire working rig. You just need to drive it home, plug it in and you are good to go. As I said the rig is currently hosted in Kuwait so anyone in the Gulf region is able to pick up the machine and take it home.

I am in the process of replacing this rig with a more powerful miner.

The rig is currently mining on nicehash.com. I have attached a link so that you can verify the profitability for yourself.
https://www.nicehash.com/miner/1J7F1ZrnrcuFc8yvHP6PYV4u83hzCKwcYu

Note that I am also willing to sell individual units of the rig if a buyer doesn't want to purchase the entire setup.

No asking price as such, but I am willing to entertain offers.

Assuming a buyer is found, I would like to have the payment made in person either cash or bank transfer.

Many thanks!

Given I'm currently mining with free power the rig makes me around $30,000 a year minimum. It doesn't make sense for me to sell it at the market price.

oh well

Dear all.

I am currently running a mining rig consisting of 96 1050 Ti's. The location is Kuwait.

I'm currently building a more powerful rig to replace my current one. I'm not able to host both of my rigs simultaneously and so I need to sell of the older rig.

I was first switched on in August 2017 and is currently mining bitcoin gold.

whattomine.com currently gives a revenue of $136 per day.

Any interested parties are invited to PM me. If you are interested and you can get yourself to Kuwait I will show you the rig in person.

Many thanks!

I am an experienced trader so I am aware of these issues. We have tried local bitcoins via escrow but there are no traders able to do the deal at this size.

I think that cash is the only viable method to pay, in a secure public place.

Is this coin a scam?

It seems that coders have cottoned on to the fact that you can with a bit of publicity fork bitcoin and sucker a few people in. I have invested a lot of time into correctly tracking these forks and sweeping them into new addresses. I hate to do this unless it is absolutely necessary as it creates possible security issues.

I'm going to secure my bitcoin, bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold. I will ignore all other forms until it becomes apparent that there is some value in them.

Can someone help me.
Sent my coins to bittrex on this address Ge5xfXVHWbWjUVdgDz6aPABDbYEvwUZbcA
Not 1 confirmation in hours. Cant even see it on the explorer

I'm facing a similar problem. Looks like hashing power for bitcoin gold has dropped through the floor. Is it somehow connected to the recent revelation of the scam wallet being advertised on their official website?

Looks like no blocks have been mined for one and a half hours. Is this normal?
so this is can't be true. every block mined each 10 min (nearly).
what pool do you use?

I'm looking at the bitcoin gold blockchain explorer.
