Bear market is necessary for the market to reset itself. It can only be beneficial if you have a plan to increase your portfolio during the season. Unfortunately, the bear season will come and go and some people will still not take advantage of it.

I don't think atheism can solve this, it's not like you can force those people to leave their religion.

You are right mostly, especially in the aspect of ethnicity. However, when it comes to religion, it is not about one becoming an atheist. The issue is that religion is being used to manipulate the people into moronic obedience and alliance. The relevance that religion is supposed to have in the life of their followers is being taken advantage of to control them.

How do you erase ethnicity? Politicians leverage on their home state and jurisdiction win elections. I believe you are suggesting Atheism as a solution to corruption, money laundering, killings, e.t.c

Leveraging ethnicity is pretty typical in most multi-ethnic countries. They use that as a springboard to jump into national which they then use to buy perks for their home region to further solidify their hold. I don't really think there's much that can be done about that.

Re: Library ? Or Internet ?

The library and the internet are both very essential for the dissemination of information to the public. However, they both have their strengths and their weaknesses. In terms of speed and convenience, the internet is better. But the downside of the internet is that there is so much fake information being peddled by self-acclaimed "experts". For a library, the information gotten there are more reliable and the quoting authorities are more recognized.

Since it is often the homeless who hang out at the library, this might be how the recognized authorities get their recognition.

Hey my fellow Newbie, I know it's not easy building our account, after reading the terms and conditions of this forum, I have decided to avoid spamming, I pledge to give content to this great forum, I see Newbie talking about merit when they haven't contributed anything yet to the forum, I'll encourage all my fellow Newbie let's try and contribute greatly to this forum, when the merit comes it will come.

The best way to grow in every aspect of life is through knowledge. In like manner, growth in BTT is not different. Develop a habit of reading wide, grow your knowledge, and then come back and try to impact that same knowledge on others. Do not concern yourself with getting merits or not, that is not within your control. When you make it a habit to read and learn, with time your knowledge will start manifesting and the reward will surely follow.

I think that more enlightenment is still needed concerning bitcoin to the general public, especially media organizations. Being a tool of information dissemination, people that are less informed about the level of technology behind btc believe that these journalists and media organizations are experts on cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, almost all of them know nothing about btc and crypto in general, thereby they continue to spread misinformation to their audience.

Re: The New Special Happiness Money Will Lead The Life Evolution On Earth
by
Kontibruno
on 13/09/2021, 08:22:24 UTC
As sweet as this idea may sound, this is just a utopian ideology. Most of the features of the "happy money" are completely against the human (and by extension every animal's) nature. One of the things that make human beings thrive is the concept of competition. Competition pushes humans to make use of their intellect and develop their ingenuity. This is because through competition we try to make something that is in existence better than what we already have. As a result, it helps to put our brains to work and create competition and variety for that product or service.

But if this basic feature is denied us, it will lead to boredom, give back the control of our life to a few selfish individuals (Governments), and kill our ability to think outside the box. These are the very things bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have come to end. There is no difference between control of this "happiness money" and fiat as we know it now.

New members let's try not to learn from our mistake because if we do ,it maybe too late to correct it .
Shouldn't this be "learn from our mistakes" instead of "try not to learn from mistakes"?

I think what he is explaining is that one should not wait to make a mistake first before learning their lesson. It is better to learn from other's mistakes.

I think the safest way to keep your system protected from hackers is to avoid opening links you are not sure of. And do not depend on your anti-virus, some viruses are more sophisticated than these anti-viruses.

Thanks, The Pharmacist. Since August 19, I began to conduct an investigation regarding this cheater. All these accounts went through my topic:

Kontibruno -    Date Registered: July 10, 2021, 09:33:08 AM

All of these accounts applied for help in obtaining rank and almost all of them violated the rule of this topic:

Attention:
- Do not try to apply using your alts.

Also, I have not yet had time to compile a merit overflow table. Please note that these accounts very often threw merits to each other in order to quickly get the next rank. There is an obvious MERIT ABUSE.

I am truly shocked to find my name listed as one of the accounts that are being used as an Alt act. Apart from being a new person here, I am new in the crypto business as a whole. I just started my crypto journey in May of this year and I joined this forum in July. I do not know a single soul among the people listed in this thread neither do I know the origin of any of the accounts.

I am open to answer any questions or provide any information you may need to aid your investigation.

Re: Yoghurt

Reading this reminded me of the first time I took yogurt. I was about 9 years old then and my mom wanted to buy ice cream for us. I saw a well-dressed young man taking and I decided that was what I was going to take.

When I requested for it, my mom asked me if I was sure if that was what I wanted because my favorite raspberry flavor ice cream was available, but I insisted on yogurt. When I received my yogurt and took the first bite, I wanted to throw up thinking that the ice cream had soured Smiley.

I couldn't say anything because I had been forwarned. I didn't want to add beating to my disappointment  Grin.
I ended up throwing the yogurt away while stifling a cry.

It's been a sad experience. I hope you were not affected by this experience and resent to eating yogurt.

Yeah, it was a bad experience, but I had to man up because I saw other children enjoying it. But it later became my favorite

Hello newbies! as I stumble on some post here regarding how to determine good coin to invest, I decided to share the tools I'm using for spotting a potential coin to invest. You can use this websites to Do Your Own Research instead of just riding the hype from others shilling post.

Token with Upcoming Event - https://coinmarketcal.com/en/
>You can use this to choose a coin to invest and setup a position depends on the upcoming event date. There's a hot section and potential coin there. Most probably you can use that section to spot good project but remember to sell before the actual date arrived unless it is an airdrop event with good return.

Gaming NFT with P2E - https://playtoearn.net/blockchaingames
>Since play 2 earn is hot right now, You can see there the hot and upcoming games with p2e system that will launch soon. You can enter an early position or participate on IDO to get much lower price to gain huge profit once officially listed on DEX.

Dapps - https://dappradar.com/
>This is the tracking website for all dapps including games on all blockchains, You can easliy determine what is the current trending dapps on DeFi ecosystem using it.

News Aggregator - https://cryptopanic.com/
>Compile all the news from different news channel so that you can browse at one go.

Newly Listed Coin Chart - https://poocoin.app/
>You can view a clear graph here especially for newly listed tokens on DEX, So that you can see if the price is over bought or sold before you APE(Common mistake of newbie is just baying without reading chart).

Holy Grail of New Project for Promotion- https://twitter.com/bsc_daily
>New token usually choose this place to market there project there for there IDO. You can use that to easily spot gem project then use the tracking app above for the project details. This a paid promotion so you can already exclude those shitcoins that don't even have budget on marketing.

NOTE: Never invest on meme coin, copy pasted website format from know project, no audit from trusted company like Certik and make sure the Liquidity Pool was locked to avoid rug pull! Always #DYOR guys!

Thanks for these sites that can help guide a novice crypto investor like me. These types of information is exactly the reason I joined BTT.

Re: Another Motivation for Novice Crypto Investors
by

on 16/08/2021, 08:11:33 UTC
The past 10 days comparison also is like gold -10% and bitcoin giving annual returns of more than 300% to the holders. What is people can't hold bitcoin if they can hold gold in lockers for all these years?

This is the beauty of this forum, we keep expanding our knowledge daily. Reading the analysis in the main post and your comment here, I have come to realize how shallow my argument was when I wrote an article about saving your money in gold for the long run. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5351631.msg57567467#msg57567467
And most people that saw the weakness of my argument pointed it out straight away.

Bitcoin has proved over and over again that it is the best long-term investment plan one can have. Even with the various major dips it has suffered at different points in time, it still gives the best ROI. This is the best data to give to anybody that is asking if BTC is a good long-term investment plan.

Re: How to identify some scam websites.

Part of the problem is that some people join the crypto business with the mindset that they are going to make it big easily within a short period. So when they see some of these came tactics, they fail to see it for what it is and fall for it because of their impatience.
