they are too busy trying out new things and jumping on different wagon or not doing anything lol i personally dont think this coin is going anywhere.. had invested in it with high hopes but i dont think it has enough steem to reach new highs - it was overhyped and now it is back in limbo state and will stay there for some time or long time i should say...

haha best advise you can get not just in this thread but in entire cryptoworld. ppl will try to pump up the coin, give you biased opinions because they are getting paid for it etc etc.. just like this all the ppl supporting deeponion
China is now really playing some kind of its game on lowering the rate of the crypto currency. Perhaps this only coincided in time, because there are really objective reasons for tightening the ICO measures and they are ripe. But what is behind the closing of crypto-exchange exchanges, we'll see in the future.
They want control and a large piece of the money-pie, that's all
I don't see any rise right now but instead I'm seeing a bloody fall and its bit alarming for continously seeing this since seems there's no since of pump I've seen for now and maybe we can experience more dumping by more people around and this is so bad since I don't want to see bitcoins to reach for 1k$ again or even more down.
Add friday factor to it. there will be more bledshed. better to buy USDT?

I am seeing an enormous amount of ignorance on this thread.
First most, if not all of those posting here, do not understand that China has a censorship/firewall system that can block anything and everything related to BTC if they so choose. How can people put their money in something if they have zero ability to access exchanges let alone have the ability to see the current price? China already does this to a large % of websites and search engines. Most businesses and government entities like the US military have had these censorship systems for years. It's just a matter of how far of a web that they want to throw down on their people.
If there is a financial crisis in China, and it's in the cards, there will likely be capital controls. The first target will likely be cryptocurrencies to stop outflows. The USA is already doing everything they can to enforce capital controls without actually calling them as such. How long will it take or what event must occur before covert controls do not turn overt? I read things about the US Constitution. Since when has it been followed? Most laws on the books now, especially financial, are unconstitutional. The problem is that politics prevents these "laws" from ever making it to the Supreme Court to be overturned.
Cryptos can be shut down by most governments and at any time they choose, regardless of their laws. Martial law can change everything regardless of what is on the books in a democratic system or a republic where the individual is sovereign.
No matter how much people are insisting it, they understand neither due process or history. They don't understand that governments, even in "free" countries can seize or censor whatever they want whenever they want to do so. In some ways, the internet makes censorship even easier than ever before. This is the true risk of BTC...and probably one that most do not want to think about let alone admit.

well said. most people fail to understand this and go on predicting games and trying to find good entry point and exit point... there is bigger picture here that most new and experienced investors or traders dont know or fail to care about
This big correction was due for sometime. From here on Eth can go under 200$, but it mostly depends on where BTC finds the bottom. Unfortunately everything is still tied to BTC. And if BTC drops the ripple effect is felt all across alt market.

hope this is bottom price and it will only go up.The price of Stratis has been hit pretty hard the past month or so and this is not a pump. It's just a natural price increase since it is very undervalued. It has yet to pump and is destined to when the releases are out. Better get back in if you sold at the bottom. Stratis is the future!
we have heard this so many times on numerous threads, on their slack and lot of other places but when will this ever happen?
this coin is going nowhere. i personally hold lot of stratis but i will never sell in loss so just waiting to even out so i can invest into some other profitable and productive projects/coins.

I believe that people exchanged their alts to bitcoin. That is why altcoins are pretty low, but bitcoin is expensive. After1 august main altcoin prices will start jumping when people understand that there is no meaning to escape from altcoins.
that is going to be very interesting to see.... i think everyone keeps on saying that majority of altcoins depends on BTC but after the fork we might see something very different. i hope that only good projects boom while BTC goes down and not all the shitcoins in general after 1st august

Yes its a bad timing, but fundamental will always catchup eventually after all the btc drama

#1 in what ways? its just all hype right now or always has been. i read all the good stuff that stratis offers and the roadmap and blah blah blah and then ppl bragging about it everywhere but who is actually using stratis platform or technology??
I dont think above speculation really happen . If it happens i will convert my all fat into the above currency once it reached your speculation even i will take loan to buy some more .
