Scams and fraud have prevailed in upstarts in cryptocurrency, and as we move further towards STOs verification of devs and investors would become more important.

KYC does not put an end to scams or fraud and there is the risk of stolen identity why you have to verify the agency handling the process. If it's personally handled by the project endeavour to check the terms and privacy policy.

Binance are not beholden to Satoshi's vision or plans, and in business, morals hardly come into play. As long as your actions are legal a business entity would do anything to further its interests and strengthen its hold on the industry.

Exactly, whenever I come across that phrase, I see it as the project looking to get more popularity by affiliating itself with bitcoin, and that attempt is enough to make me lose real interest. We are not looking for the next Bitcoin, but rather the next innovative technology which would improve transactions while retaining anonymity and keeping control in the hands of the holders.

I am not entirely expert on the concept of hard forks,but in a basic sense it is a way of creating another currency from rge sane chain, which may not be backward compatible (I stand to be corrected) it has momentary impact on the price of the currency being forked, especially if an airdrop is done. I would love to see the blockchain technology implemented in educational sector, allowing students to pay fees, communicate (submit assignments, project defences etc) and access basic amenities directly using the blockchain technology.
