Re: [OPEN] BitMine CoinCraft 1 Th/s- January 3rd week batch-last 185 shares!

We probably should've known that this would very likely be a scam, however with such low cost per share it's a good opportunity for a lot of us w/o the means to put out for a large number of these buys. I probably won't get the 5 shares i put in back, but it's a good lesson, if someone is acting sketchy about any information, they're probably scamming you.

Also I did put in for 5 shares I can supply that info if needed.

Faucets were for promoting bitcoin in the first place, now that the price has shot up to what it is (heck even 9 months ago when it took off) faucets have become worthless. They did their job, but now there's little point.

I will work for $.50 a minute. I consider myself a pretty fast typist and have very few errors in my typing. Do you want me to PM or email you about this offer?

Re: Why do I only mine at 3.3 Mhash/s

it is the GPU, in all honestly it's slower because it is a nvidia and it's quite an old one at that. If you want to upgrade, from what I understand AMD cards are the best to go with. However if you want to stick with nvidia and are willing to upgrade at a reasonable price. I'm getting about 90Mh/s with a GTX 560ti from EVGA, not the best, but definitely better than what you're getting right now.

Lets worry about surviving before we focus on what could happen to our bitcoins if something like a worldwide EMP blast/nuke happened.

+1 on this, however I am sure that it might effect it to some degree, but how long it takes to happen I don't have a clue.

I agree with this completely, there isn't a sign that bitcoin is in a bubble state right now or that it'll burst. But what we could see is it go down slowly and even out, but once companies look at this (Which I am sure they are after the quick rise) they'll start implementing bitcoin into their buisness practice, that is when we could see this truely skyrocket and go into whatever price it wants.

I've started with the evil empire known as BTCGuild, honestly I went in thinking that it'd be a good place to start since it had the highest userbase. I'll probably switch to a smaller one once I know what I am doing.

Hello, my name is Kotank and I just recently found out about Bitcoin two weeks ago before the big boom. I thought it was an interesting investment opportunity, however being a college student with university fees to pay, I didn't want to convert that money into bitcoin and/or take out a loan. I've been told never take out loans and stay debt free and I plan to keep it that way.

However since this boom has happened my interest finally peaked and I wanted to know more about bitcoin not only from an average joe's perspective, but from a student who is majoring in Economics as well. Hope to meet some great people that will show me the how the economics of digital currency works and who knows. Hopefully when I have some actual money I can put it into this. But for now I guess I'll stick with mining and the free sites.

Thanks for the nice site to find great information and I hope to be around for awhile.
