Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream?
by
KouroPotato
on 21/09/2017, 13:09:28 UTC
Okay, I am just making that headline short and sweet. What I mean is: What is one big dream that you want to realized out of your Bitcoin income? No matter how small or big it is, please share it with us here.

As for me, I have a big dream of having my own 10-hectare farm somewhere here in my locality and I want to stuff that area with all the fruits I can find here and with my main products which are cacao and coffee.

I guess I have this special connection with the soil and the land that is giving us the food and sustenance daily. And who knows maybe years from now I can be able to issue tokens out of that farm...something like AgriTokens or AgriCoins.

Please share your dreams!

For me, my first thing to do to achieve my plans on becoming a millionaire person by using bitcoin is to keep storing my bitcoin as much as possible and keep joining bounties and campaigns to earn tokens and altcoins to convert it into bitcoin. Also, I will pledge to earn bitcoin and convert and exchange it into a real money to help my parents who work hard. Because of bitcoin, we can easy earn money by the use of the internet.

What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

Bitcoin is a currency that it is untouchable and you can earn it on the internet. Some rumors said that some people became millionaire by just sitting and posting in bitcointalk. I started this scheme when my classmates gossiping about this Money Making Online or Make Money Online (MMO) in bitcointalk. When I found that you can earn money by just sitting and posting, I start it and it is true.

Re: BITCOIN AS PAYMENT FOR ONLINE GAMES
by

I need your opinion about having bitcoin for payments in online games, it is good or nah?

Using bitcoin as payments for in-game items and upgrades is very useful since many people are capable of technology devices though bitcoin and online games are done by computers.

I thinks its very efficient for me as a gamer and a bitcoin user to have a transaction or payment like that.

I think some online games can be accept bitcoin payments because of its popularity on some individual who wants to make money online. We all know that bitcoin will become the official currency in the future, but we must improve the bitcoin currency to accept some bitcoin payments in online games. Also, bitcoin payments in online games are so convenient because you can pay bitcoins with the use of the internet and less hassle by just clicking.

What do you like best about bitcoin?
Decentralization, transparency or easier to move?
Or just it makes you look cool? Wink

I like bitcoin because of its beneficiary perks to the millennials. Why? We all know that we are spending too much money for our everyday needs (like for academics, for food, for buying bills and etc.). So that our creative minds create an easy way to get money and it is earning bitcoin to convert into a real money. By just joining some bounties and creating walllets for storaging altcoins for converting a bitcoin, we can get our temporary allowance for our everyday needs.

Re: Is Bitcoin money?

Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

Yes but it is an untouchable money or in short; "online money". Bitcoin is a money that can be generated, invested or even converted into a real money online. Rumors say that the bitcoin would be a future currency someday. Because of the internet, we can make money online through the wise use of bitcoin. Because we are in the 21st century, we can say that our internet is improving and we create a currency that we can exchange into a real money, the bitcoin.

And that's my reason why bitcoin considered as a money.

My parent , especially my mom , she always tell me to stop doing bitcoin otherwise i will go to jail or doing bad things to social ! I don't get it ! Old generation seem very lack of experience in Bitcoin ! Why they keep telling us to stop when they even don't know how to check a simple email on ebay ! How to explain them guys ?

Hmmm...maybe your parents think that bitcoin is a website for hackers so that your parents tries to stop you because your parents think that you are using a hacking website to steal someone's data and account. The first thing you to do is to search the true meaning of bitcoin and its benefits to your future. Then, explain the bitcoin to your parents and how to make money online using the website called bitcointalk.org so that your parents will know that you are making money online.

Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

My first plan is to keep increasing my bitcoin by joining some bounties to get tokens and exchange tokens into altcoins. Then i will convert it into bitcoin and transfer it into my wallet. Now if i have bitcoins, my first thing to do is to transfer again into my bank account to get my cash. Also, i have an another plan on my bitcoin and i will store it in my wallet and i will cash out it into a real monet in the future.

I see that the more bitcoin the more users seen from the significantly increased bitcoin price increase, is this a sign that bitcoin will soon become the future virtual currency?
Depends if there will be more merchants who will use or accept Bitcoin as mode payment just like Paypal where majority or a lot of online store accepts Paypal compared to Bitcoin. Some online store owners don't even know the existence of Bitcoin (in my country example). Bitcoin being accepted as mode of payment will have a big impact.

Yes, I agree to your statement. Bitcoin will be the future currency, but it depends on the users who use the bitcointalk and its real money exchange. Nowadays, bitcoin can convert into a real money, but the process on converting and exchanging is too long. However, bitcoin is developing all across the countries so that many people who use the internet will benefit.

what do you think about this topic?

Maybe. Because bitcoin is a instant way to get rich, but with a chance, Why? Because bitcoin is not much popular in the currency.
Some people got rich on bitcoin because they work hard posting some sorts related to bitcoin.
But in my opinion, bitcoin will be much popular in the future due to the growth and advancement in many countries.  Cheesy

    on 23/08/2017, 04:34:46 UTC

After there is a BCC can the bitcoin survive or bitcoin will be much more up the price after this
What do you think about this?

I don't think so, bitcoin cash is an altcoin which means there won't be much value to it. As some people stated the price of  bitcoin cash and bitcoin add up to around 3k. This might mean that when bitcoin falls, bitcoin cash will rise in price.

The problem with that is that bitcoin doesn't look like it's going to fall, especially after it went through these events. Now people have even more trust in bitcoin and prices are stable.
Probably right.Bitcoin at the present is much more capable and secured as compared before. So with this,it will truly survive through the tests of time.

Yes, bitcoin can survive. Bitcoin will be consider as the future currency. Because of this currency, you can easily buy and sell products using bitcoin by using internet. This is a untouchable money, but you can use the bitcoin through the use of internet.
