Re: [ANN/PoC] Coldkey Cryptobond - FIRST Timelocked Physical Bitcoin
by
Kryptowerk
on 21/05/2025, 22:43:14 UTC
Not trying to bury the dead here, but a reminder for anyone with coldkeys to give it a last try and sweep these. Especially the last batch of Cryptobonds.

I just tried to sweep my last remaining 0.001BTC Cryptobond. You need to BROADCAST the locked transaction first. When I tried this I got the following error: Error validating transaction: Transaction has already been spent..
Tried it here: https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/pushtx/
Also two other broadcasting options just gave an error with less info than this site.

- I assume this means the tx was executed earlier this month, after block 895536 was mined two weeks ago (06 May 2025 15:51:48 UTC) and then the coins were swept - most likely by ☠️Yogg☠️
So he is still alive and stealing, right?
[/i]Or could the private key still have been accessed and swept in another way if he had just saved it before?

tl;dr:
What I'm trying to find out is if he was recently active (sweeping = stealing), or if this is most likely from over 2 years ago when Yogg went rogue.

I figure China's first crypto postage stamp belongs here as well. Thanks for sharing Ty!

Introducing the first ever Chinese government backed physical cryptocurrency (Poly/Matic) item that does NOT include digital yuan.  It's very odd to me that this shift has come so quickly.  I was able to procure a couple sets, and may be able to get more.. I'll elaborate in more detain soon, but it's late so a quick tease of what I've come across...

(switching to mobible for uploading of pics, hang tight if you don't see much)

Wow, they sure know how to make a pretty design. Roughly $50 for a pure stamp with NFT is extremely overpriced, though - or did I miss something?

Also, can anyone explain how stamp and NFT are connected?
Or not connected at all, just same design and you get a NFT on top of the stamp? It's polygon chain, right?

Strong look, as usual.
Now with a QR for the public address? Fantastic integration into the design.

side note:
the coin itself will have an issuance of 65,000
only the set (stamp+coin) will be 5,000

Oh shit. At 5k I would have most likely gotten one or two. 65k ... that's rough.

Btw, here are some nicer and more detailed images of the coin: https://www.muenzeoesterreich.at/produkte/25-euro-silber-niob-muenze-digitalisierung-hgh

yea 65k coins is quite a bit, the coin/stamp set though would still be limited to 5k - is there a way to confirm that a stamp and a coin go together? vs someone who just later buys one of ea vs buying one of the 5k sets?

I was actually a bit excited to have a crypto coin that's issued by an official institution like the Austrian post office. However I doubt it will be similar to the standards we are used here on the forum.
Will there be a private key directly on the coin to access the NFT? I highly doubt it. Worst and most likely case the coin just shares the design of the stamp and there is actually connecting it to crypto/the NFT.

I wonder when we'll see an official loaded coin.
CS1 was unique in that way, each Ethereum address actually loaded with a small amount of ETH.

Nice work @Kazkaz27, very demonstrative example.

In today's world with AI tools and generally very easily accessible image manipulation tools to anyone, it becomes more and more important to have several ways of trust verification before doing any kind of business digitally.

Just today I learned about mass-scam-centers in Myanmar where tens-of-thousands of people are held hostage to conduct different sorts of cyper-crimes (mostly money fraud themed scams). It's scamming on an industrial-scale level which probably uses a lot of advanced technology. Rough times ahead, better be super-paranoid of potential scam-attempts than sorry.

It roughly translates to:

Dive into the world of numismatic and digital collectibles.
This unique set combines the fascinating crypto stamp "digitalization" with the curresponding 25€ silver-niobium coin.

Don't take my word, but here is what I heard:
There will be 5000 sets, containing one silver coin + one stamp. Each set will be priced at 121,40€ (roughly $130 USD).
Both, stamp and coin will have a corresponding NFT token.

Which blockchain or how exactly this "corresponding NFT" will be stored on the items is not know (yet). Probably in a similar way to previous Austrian Crypto Stamps.

So long.

Haven't checked in for ages, reading up a bit just now.

-> It is my understanding MrCryptSodl went MIA around mid 2024 and no one has had any contact with them since then - is that correct?

He was based in Switzerland if I am not mistaken, anyone got any answers to his/her whereabouts or what might be going on?
Just changed my neutral warning trust to negative.

Still owned several items from early 2024, has'nt responded to any of my inquiries sent via forum.

by

The premiums depends on the piece.
For the squirrelbits, the premiums would be well well worth any effort.
This peel does't make any sense.

GrtzTank

Agreed on the Squirrels. - if one of the other 9 owners want to sell - I’m your guy

The way I see it, if 3x + doesn’t mean much to you then why should
Peeling .001 mean anything either.

Could’ve sold the squirrel bits in seconds

I’m still going with stolen/inherited
I second that.

Given the scarcity of squirrelbits I'd assume if it is indeed stolen items the original owner may come forward here in the forum.
There are a few loaded collectibles with low denom that I could consider peeling in some rare and unfortunate situations. I believe Squirrelbits would be at the end of that list. Actually not even on that list, I'd rather wash dishes for 6 months straight. lol

Just chiming in to say how much I like these designs. Well done, great mix of beautiful, sligthly corny (but that's part of BTC art imho) and a little dark/moody. The orange envelopes make it pop even more.
Hope to see these in a RL bitcoin gallery one day.

A 100 BTC Cas bar was just redeemed: https://collectible.money/item/S2CASASCIUS-100-1GCFaQGAMF

Looks like it was carefully done, with a test transaction and all - although I'm not sure if I would use 1 BTC as a test amount.

As always, you can get these alerts in realtime on via telegram using https://t.me/collectible_money
Hahaha, peanuts!

Such a breath of fresh air seeing this project evolving. Great work, raghavsood!

The idea of an alert system that activates if several coins of one maker are redeemed within a short time span would be fantastic indeed. Maybe could give a chance to save some funds in case of a rug pull.

Re: Sentinel App - no transactions displayed (verify balance app for Android)

Sentinel App was made by Samourai right? All their infrastructure was pulled during the raid. No idea if they used their own servers to fetch balances (or to store your data), but sure sounds that way.
Oh shit, that makes sense. I think I missed that event for the most part.
Is there a good replacement for their whirlpool and did they confiscate any funds?

I use Satpile app - only works for BTC, which is fine by me.

Only for apple.   Anyone know of a good one for Android?

yea their android app is still in beta.

https://github.com/Satpile/satpile/releases/tag/v1.6.4%2B1

YAY!!!!  Finally....hope they get it done soon!  Thanks!
Would be nice to have indeed. However last commit is more than 3 years old, I wouldn't put too much hope on a proper android release.

Re: [ANN] Bisq - Exchange, Decentralized.
by
Kryptowerk
on 30/08/2024, 11:32:28 UTC
I've been using Bisq 1.9.12 for the last month or so, and I love the new clone offer feature.  It allows a maker to create one offer, but clone it to use different payment methods.  For example, if I want to sell some bitcoin, but I don't care if I'm paid via Zelle or Strike, I can create one offer for Zelle, submit my maker fee and security deposit, and publish the offer.  Then I can clone the Zelle offer and change the payment method to Stirke, and I want to set a different margin for Strike payments, I do that as well.  If I use a trigger, I can different prices set for the cloned offer also.  I don't need to submit another maker fee or security deposit, both offers share the same fees and security deposit.  When a peer takes one of the cloned offers, both offers are removed from the market.

This will help makers by allowing them to use one offer (and one security deposit,) but advertise it in two or more markets.

That sounds pretty neat indeed!

I've recommended Bisq a few times and usually get positive feedback.

Was wondering if Skrill payment will ever be implemented, last time I checked there was a very old submit on github but nothing really happened there I think.
