Just for the record: I did get paid, twice. And i did get my refunds, also twice. I really have no reason to think this is a scam.

Fact is that lowering the payout to 1,5 or less or changing the min.deposit again doesn't make any difference. It only affects the time it takes to slow down and finally stop the system. Do your math.

I had three reasons to stop playing:
After my last refund OP raised the min.deposit to 0,1. Too much, I think.
Second reason: there were already too many pending transactions. The momentum was gone, it was obvious the system got (or was going to get) stuck. As all these systems do after a while. The earlier you jump in, the lower the risk, providing you quit at the right moment.
Third reason: The MakeBTC-debacle made me very cautious about sites that suddenly disappear. To be honest, I really don't know for sure whether that story was true, but like this one there was the story of the site being reported as a scam, at a moment there was absolutely no reason to think it was a scam. MakeBTC didn't fight back (scam???), BitDoubler did and came online again - kudos for that! But it p****s me off when people try to interfere because they want to "protect" me (and other players) from losing some money. Like I posted earlier on in this thread, I think it's quiet arrogant to put yourself in that oh so correct position and even worse: it affects the risk I'm prepared to take with playing this game. Leave us alone. You're not protecting, you're spoiling.

That said: I'm afraid that right at this moment I'm losing the 0,04 I earned here. At CoinPayoff...  Shocked . Yep, I jumped in too late, didn't do the math...  Wink

I totally agree it's a risk yes but a risk i'm willing to take. if you want checkout https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=529078.0 it's also an automated script.

Tnx, looks good. I'm gonna follow it. But first I have to cover my loss at CoinPayoff... I try to play responsible...  Grin

How does a new minimum allow faster payments?

A higher minimum generates more income, more income means quicker payouts. That's the theory, though. This is the moment the game gets into the high-risk phase, I guess. Smiley

***ANNOUNCEMENT SPACE***

Latest news are bold. Ordered from Newest to Oldest

23/03/2014 19:00 GMT +1 : New Minimum depositable moved to 0.1 BTC, This make faster payouts. ENJOY!.
first its .005, then .05,   then.01 to try to bring in more people  now .1  which was higher than .05 is going to alienate even more people than previously and payouts will be just as slow because no one will want to play.
The constantly changing minimum is a contributing factor in deposits becoming "lost" and needing to be refunded. This is confusing when everytime someone wants to play, the deposit changes.
Please pick one minimum and stick with it

Additionally, sent this deposit Yesterday, BEFORE you changed the minimum again and it never showed up. So please refund it:

@BitDoubler:

Good to see you're back in business again, and apologies for the speculation about what happened. But just for the record: I wrote about the consequenses of the actions of the so called and self-proclaimed Protectors as I call them. I did not accuse you of scamming and taking off on a plane to a sunny beach enjoying my (or anybody's) deposits. If that's what you read in it: sorry, didn't mean that. In fact: you handled the issue I had with your old wallet very well and gave you all the credits for that.

That said: my latest deposit still didn't register, I made it before the site crashed. Check http://blockchain.info/tx-index/4416ab765bca0d1562e3ef90b48ecf4bd4ef3252aea35931c296e7e5ab755d3d

I used the address about a minute or ten after it was created by solving the captcha. Can you register it as my deposit or give me refund plse?

Tnx
Kush

JUST RECEIVED REFUND! GOOD JOB! And according to the timestamp you paid before my post a few minutes ago.

And tnx off course.

The domain is suspended see Registration TAB on http://whois.domaintools.com/bitdoubler.net

Probably someone reported the domain as a scam to the ISP or domain registrar.

Yep, it's possible somebody acted as The Great Protector again. The consequence: site owner has the deposits and probably takes a plane to a sunny beach, and the players loose.

So, thanks a lot for interfering, Protector(s)! Only thing is I didn't ask for your so called protection, so I expect you (whoever you are) to cover my losses...
Not? Wow, what a surprise!

Kush, I don't think it ever will.
Lost my btc too.

Well, he solved it correctly when it happened earlier this week (as you can read in my posts and his responses) and he refunded. But looking at his website now (offline)...

The positive conclusion is that the site is suffering from a D Dos-attack, there are some folks on this forum who made it their toppriority to take down these kind of sites. I understand why they are doing that, but I don't like it. I think it's quiet arrogant to put yourself in the position of "The Great Protector", I'm well aware of the risks and I'm not playing with money I can't afford to lose. That doesn't mean I like to lose money, of course.

The bad conclusion: it's also possible I made one deposit too many.

We'll see.

@BitDoubler:

Apologies accepted, of course. And tnx for checking. I understand I probably missed the warning about the 12 hours. I can't remember seeing that text, but I'm not going to argue about it. I simply can't remember whether it was there or not, so I have to believe you on that one.

And I'm happy to see you tried to reconstruct everything and even tried to refund me. Although "trying to refund" to me sounds a bit strange (you refund or you don't): thank you for that.

That said: fact is that the transaction has been made (151 comfirmations at this time). I took the liberty to check the address-blockchain.info page (http://blockchain.info/address/1L68HYS5twgV5KTFYVqzWkwYsjUkVEFoLq).  The transaction is there, as are my other "investments" in your system, and at the moment the balance of that address is 0,06 BTC.  So I really don't understand why you can't refund me. According to your last response you still have access to that wallet. In my humble opinion it's quiet simple: the person who emptied the wallet must also be able to refund me.

Although it's less than 0,05 BTC you can also accept it as my reinvestment in your system. I can live with that.

Tnx!
Kush

Hi Kush63.
I'm to explain what I mean with "trying to refund".

When before blockchain goes down, the our first wallet was filled of addresses (over thousand). When it happen (anybody which had experimented about, can confirm what I'm saying) the blockchain's wallet browsing become strange:
- Total wallet balance say 0.00000000 even if btc are yet available to spend.

Then we've put bitdoubler in maintenance mode, tried to remove all unused addresses and consolidating these.
However wallet seemed to work bad. So we've deleted our addresses database, which have removed all our wallet's addresses and consolidating too.

Then we've made a new wallet, sent all balance from old wallet to the new, and put-back online bitdoubler.

Since I knew that old wallet said an "empty balance" even if it isn't true, I've tried to login again to old wallet and tried to send back to you the 0.04 amount, but unfortunately wallet said me that "I haven't enough BTC to send the amount (and it said about my wallet balance is 0.00).
I saw about this address (1L68HYS5twgV5KTFYVqzWkwYsjUkVEFoLq) seem to have 0.06 BTC inside but since you've sent latest at 2014-03-21 22:24:45 (while we were using new wallet, so we never check about the old) we should received your transaction into the old wallet.

Before writing this reply, I've tried again and made an screenshot to keep all understandable: (Bitcointalk remove the link so rebuild removing spaces) imagizer . imageshack . us/a/img716/9091/yvqh . jpg

However I'm very unhappy about all, considering that transaction seem became correctly, so I've decided to refund you anyway:
https://blockchain.info/it/tx/526dbe6522131d4e8d5f4762d47d460cce40a5cdb013df57aa884ac0fa4d87e8

Thank You to your faith in bitdoubler!

@BitDoubler:

I just received the refund. Thanks for that, and for the energy and time you put in solving this issue.

@ All other readers:

BitDoubler solved this issue correctly and as you all can see: I got my refund. Play this game, be patient and double your money. I did, and it worked. But don't play with money you can't afford to lose!

Sorry Kush63,
1L68HYS5twgV5KTFYVqzWkwYsjUkVEFoLq is not an our address, so our wallet never received this transaction.

I've checked manually many times. Please verify it.

@Bitdoubler:

Tnx for the quick response, but I find this a bit disturbing...

I did verify. Before this one, I deposited three times to BitDoubler using that same address. The address was generated by solving the captcha at March 16 2014.
All three deposits were registered on your transactionlist, and I did receive the promised payouts - you did a great job there!
All three deposits were made before blockchain crashed.

ok this one i know. maybe if you read what it says after you do the catcha that the addresses are only valid for 12 hours and then you need to get a new one.

Apologize, you've used a too old address which was a part of another wallet (used before 19th March). I've checked the old wallet today, in order to find your transaction, but there isn't and I've try to refund you too, but oldest wallet is really empty.

I replied to the mail (no answer yet):

Dear Admin of MakeBTC.org (that is: if you are the real admin of that site...),

Personally, 'till a few days ago  I didn't think your scheme and website "got a wrong way", as you put it.

But why do you need my email- and password? You send me this email, which proves you already have my email. Besides, I registered a btc-address in the MakeBTC-database to send me my income. You can use that address to refund and pay me the bonus you just promised. Regarding to the sudden disappearing of MakeBTC, I think it's more justified that I ask you to prove to me that you're really the admin of MakeBTC.org before I give you any password or other info.

But surely, I would like to get my deposits to MakeBTC.org refunded. Therefore I would highly appreciate it if you send me my full refund incl. the promised bonus within a couple of days from now. You can send it to my btc-address registered in the makebtc-database, ore simply return it to the btc-address of which I send my deposits.

With regards,

Kush
