No worries, just wondering why "expected time to earn reward" is 11 days since firing up the wallet this afternoon. Any idea?
Because of the weight of your stake against the network's overall weight.(it's usually faster than this).
Thank You for that explanation. With over 10k coins, it says my weight is 10 out of 90,000... expected time to earn reward 6 days. Should this be changing back to normal soon?
Quotient sounds like it's going to be the biggest player of handling crypto quotes in the future, professional in-wallet interface accessible via website as well? Great idea, I'm in. From the sounds of it, staking works like a charm as well, and not that many coins in existence. Pumps can go south very fast, but for so few of coins, this will be interesting...
Nice job with the features so far dev! Any idea what the next wallet update will include?

Re: [ANN] Quicksilver (QSLV) | 100% POS | Under 3.5 mil coins
Sorry guys but who is so naive this project will ever be successfull? I mean really, why would any taxi company ever accept this coin? And that is actually the easy part to achieve!
This projects are dreams and whole crypto world would be better of without them! I dont want to ruin peoples investment but WTF happened to crypto currencies? I will make my own called floristcoin and florists will accept it. Yea, let do it - it will definitely be success!
Did you notice how fast transactions are from wallet to wallet? I did a test with another user on IRC and they took literally less than a second... maybe .6 seconds.
Those kind of speeds would be required to serve customers who just want to pay quick and get out of the cab. Bitcoin can't do that, can it?

Figure if this coin's going to be a success, it's going to need fast transactions times, like ultra-fast so Taxi drivers can back to work and customers can go on about their day sooner. Well, good news...
Another coin owner and I conducted a speed test on IRC to test the amount of time it took to complete transactions between wallets.
We did three tests, and it took less than a second or about a second each of the three times. Quicksilver is faster than handing a cab driver a $20 bill, even without getting change

Re: [ANN] Quicksilver (QSLV) | 100% POS | Under 3.5 mil coins
Dev how many hours per week are you working on this coin? Maybe community will then understand how busy you are
Well it's only been live about one week, however I put dozens of hours of work in on the front end of the launch, and continue to spend the majority of my open hours on this project. I made it clear early on before the pre-sale that I was in this project because I saw real potential for its future. The pre-sale not only provided funding for the necessary developments, but it also acted as a proof of community interest for the project. As enough of the project sold out to allow Quicksilver to launch, I can only assume that there are many people who also see potential for the long-term success of the project.
If you are one of these individuals, I would just suggest that you stake your QSLV to support the network and collect the staking rewards. People are used to things moving very swiftly in the crypto'sphere, however as Quicksilver is an attempt to break out of this sphere (or expand it, rather) developments and progress will not happen overnight.
Once again, I invite you to stake your coins and join me for the long run--I'm not going anywhere.
Thanks for that wonderful update that was excellent! I just opened up the wallet and I'll be sending more coins there tonight. Do you have a donation address for development?
