when the community does support the fork, that is a stronger vote of "no confidence" in the original developer.
According to your words, Bytecoin is one of powerfull fork here, on the altcoin subforum.
In case you havent notice Bytecoin has almost 0 community. Half of the posters about bytecoin are paid accounts. And most comments on bytecoin thread are from people that support Monero including me. Volume is close to 0. Hell even duckcoin has bigger volume...
Ignore them. They are kinda blind. They learned couple of sentences and that's it. Don't waste your time - spend it with your family and friend. And keep being a BCN user. Because it's absolutely profitable

Re: [MCN] MonetaVerde CryptoNote based Merged mining CPU only
Check MonetaVerde's reddit! Now you can connect to Minergate.com using ANY miner and send funds directly to merchants or exchanges!
Does not impress. Just because it's empty.
Are you kidding me? Your posts told me that you are BCN fan too. But BCN subreddit isn't full of topics... so don't be so rude with them! Moneta Verde has a good foundation and nice devs so let them try

Re: Bytecoin [BCN] vs MONERO [XMR] who will be the winner in the Cryptonote War
Anyway, it's all stupid because at the moment only XMR is advancing towards that goal of mass adoption whereas the one hurting that goal are the designers of the technology.
It's already a politcal movement that looks a lot like bitcoin. It's a wonder such smart people can't see it - ah greed !

You shouldn't be so fast, you know? There are a lot of discussion thread and dialogs here that can easily let us understand that "XMR engine" isn't so clean. Somebody believe that monero devs just stole their technologies, but anyway - they failed on the mass adoption way
They will end very bad if they commited the error of bombing Russia, thats like suicide.
Russia is a military superpower, it isn't as strong as it was 30 years ago, but still very strong. Any country that tries to attack Russia (or any other superpower) is making a mistake
Are you afraid of Russian red army?
