Board

Re: Bitmain Antminer S9 Troubleshooting Blank Hardware Version

My observation regarding the issue:
Default addresses don't work 100%
Moreover - antpool itself  doesnt work - it was dead for me most of the time I was trying to cope with S9.
I mean yesterday it worked fine. Then I turned it off for half a day and then with all the same setings it couldnt connect to pool
As soos as I changed the pool to viabtc - everything worked.

Thanks man!
But still:
3. You bought an industrial miner, thats why its loud. If you put that fan on your miner wont run. Its 2100 rpm and 70cfm too weak. Dont change the fan.
http://www.overclock.net/products/delta-afc1212de-sp02-1120-x-120-x-38mm-extreme-hi-fan-dell-5pin-rpm-3900-rpm-air-flow-148-34-cfm-noise-level-51-dba
Its 150 CFM. Not 70. And native QFR is 210 CFM AFAIK. As native works at 4000-4500 actual speed it gives us 140-160 CFM. So AFC could handle that with lower noise? Im not smart ass - just wanna sort it out Grin

4. No, not really. Why would you constantly be turning it off anyway? The whole point is to keep it as near 100% uptime as possible to maximize profits.
I mean several times or so while tuning. Not constantly of course)

Re: Antminer S9 - No data in Miner Status page

Same was with me. The only problem is an error in worker name or password. And yes - default antpool addresses  in miner setings are void ATM so you never see it working through them hence U dont see mines status info.

Antminer S9 fan upgrade for noise reduction and other questions

Hello there!
Just got my S9 sound monster, so a few question appeared:

1. Chip 1 temperatures are absend - there are hyphens there, wtf?
Chip 2 temperatures difers a lot - 72 58 and 62 degrees acordingly. Is that ok? It's 4200-4600RPM.

2. In Miner General Configuration there is no checkbox for 80 degrees shutdown and field for RPM setting is absend as well. How so?

3. What fan to choose instead of the default one to cut the noise? Delta AFC1212DE 1,6A is reccommended by many, but lots of controversial info around there.

4. Seller said ASIC should not be turned on and off often for it would reduce its lifetime, is that true?

Many thanks!

Well actually he asks right questions and no matter who he is - answers to these questions would be way more valuable then al these "you're just angry" statements.
I myself don't understand how it was traded in 2016 but launched in 2017 either.

Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign

totall crap coin DGB...why did this go from 20 sats to 2500 sats in the first place? just becauseof segwit? this coin is pumped by own devs and deserves to be delsited from polo this is sick

Unfortunately, we have zero ability to control the price, nor the millions of dollars required to pull off such a feat. DigiByte is open source and decentralized.  We as developers have a very small amount of total DGB.  All of which we acquired through mining or purchased on the market over the years.

This drop has hurt us as well.  All we can do is to continue to do what we have been doing the past three years and continue working. It takes time to bring new resources and people on board and to train them and get new things completed.  Which is exactly what we have been doing the past few weeks. We are not going to release news without anything to back it up, simply for the sake of "pumping."

We will not answer any price or speculation questions so please do not PM us asking about it. Also, anyone accusing us of being "scammers" will be promptly ignored & blocked. If you don't have the ability to do your own research you should not be in crypto.

As stated many, many times we are not in this for a pump and dump.  Unfortunately, there are groups out there who move from coin to coin pumping and dumping.  The entire crypto industry and every major coin is in the red over the past couple weeks. Much of this is now due to the uncertainty of a coming Bitcoin fork.

On August  1st,  and through August if Bitcoin splits this could be a very turbulent time for all blockchains. This also highlights why DigiByte is in a much more stable long-term position than Bitcoin.

DigiByte is currently the fastest, most secure, most decentralized UTXO blockchain in the world today. This is due to the past three years of consistent committed development.

If you notice trading patterns for DigiByte differ significantly from other cryptos, a lot of this has to do with how widely distributed DGB is. Because there are no "central" bag holders like there are in many other cryptocurrencies our market cap is not artificially inflated. This also means we are susceptible to wild swings as mass trading psychology takes over. Often times you will see DigiBytes daily trading volume higher than its market cap.

We have several exciting things coming up in the next couple months, including a fresh new look for DigiByte!  So stay tuned and thank you all for your continued support!

Please tell me, dgb continues waiting for the prizes in July? part still going on?

Where is the file of the wallet, I do not start the node? Writes: "I0710 22: 39: 13.387924 node / config.go: 445] Failed to start Ledger hub, disabling: libusb: not found [code -5]
I0710 22: 39: 13.431935 ethdb / database.go: 83] Allotted 128MB cache and 1024 file handles to C: \ Users \ maksi \ DaxxPeer \ data \ geth \ chaindata "
I want to make a backup and reinstall the wallet.
if you create account then your keystore file must be in folder C: \ Users \ maksi \ DaxxPeer \ data \ keystore
Thanks for the hint. Though it should be noticed that the same question from me had fallen on the deaf ear. I take it for nub discrimination Grin

Hello.
Where are priv keys stored? Could find none.

Block Explorer
https://daxxcoin.org/explorer.html
After entering the wallet address "no data found" message appears. Tried different wallets. Is it ok?
