Paying someone to create a basic Black Jack game for me.

Doesn't matter what language it's done in as long as it can be used on a website.

PM me with estimate please.

I'm truly flabbergasted by how much money this is making.

And it happened right under my nose as I watched on.

Which just goes to show: I have no friggin clue about how to make money on the internet.

Get crackin' and make your own satoshi dice variable or some other gambling game Cheesy

Did the difficulty just changed or there are still 150 blocks left as bitcoincharts.com reports?

Difficulty changed! Better switch to mining Litecoin  Grin haha jk. BTC mining still profitable for many.

Actually I been thinking about spotlighting my sack.  Nothing like a big ass Teabag in the sky.

Since I'm sure there are no Gotham residents here, for a small fee I will take a pic of my wall showing a teabag of a flashlight

What's the point of bitcoin if you have to be so paranoid?

I put this post in the Newbies area for a reason Smiley

I believe that bitcoin will someday be orders of magnitude more secure (and more valuable). If you buy bitcoins now, you are an early adopter getting in while prices are cheap and betting that security and utility will improve.

In the meantime, yes, you must be absurdly paranoid. These websites cannot be trusted any more than you absolutely have to. To actually hold onto your coins long enough for your investment to pay off, you need to push the paranoia up to the tinfoil-hat level. This is the price of being an early bitcoin adopter.

Trust nobody but Jesus

Nope.  Not even Jesus.

Not to mention, when you do get screwed with a bank.  Not only is your money stolen, but getting a new encrypted wallet on a new piece of hardware is probably a lot easier than dealing with a bank to get a new account or password.

Yea and not to mention the bank gets all of your information.  I trust my computer more than I do someone at the bank.  Crooks of the highest caliber

Re: Daily Free Newbie Lotto
by
LTC555
on 08/01/2013, 14:00:02 UTC
Here is how this new lotto will work.

If you are a newbie1 and you make a comment in this thread, even if it is just to say "thanks" or "hello", include a bitcoin address in the main
area of the post, or explicitly point to it in your signature ( don't PM me or make me search for it ), and I will number it and add it to a database.

Every time I do my check on these free bitcoin sites ( usually daily ) I will use a random number generator to pick one entry from that
database and use that address in the check of the sites for that particular day2.

Your address will stay in the database and have a chance of being chosen in every draw ( usually daily ).
One address per account please. I will reply to your post to confirm that I have added it to the database.

Make sure to submit an address that you will not be using in your own daily check of these sites or else it may be rejected by
many of these sites, if you happen to win, since most of these sites don't allow the same address to be submitted more than
once on the same day.

Here is the contents of the db so far ( This is an example of how it looks right now. I won't come back to this post to update this list
but just update the database itself ):

1 karlzt    1E9gnhT4DY1gPxDFNg1ptR3Z5RCzmGchJr
2 textish    1N8pBiXqLPD27y2v2od44PM7daLXsLqfde
3 jonflow   1JBXDbc5DEN65syn8xXfeeEZfWURZ1pL4
4 bachus   1o1zuero29orZxs8CsZ2Gzep5NPFT463a
5 KB5988   1EHozR4b2HWAfkGYp7kdcGEXyL82vbJZmR

If you aren't on that list and feel you should be I hope you will know how to get added.   Wink
If you are on the list and would like to be removed just let me know in this thread or by PM.

Any questions or suggestions?

--

1 I will try not to be too strict in the definition of "newbie"... I hope something like common sense will prevail and someone who has been here
for months and posted hundreds of times will understand the spirit of this as being to welcome and help out new members of the community,
and so will not apply.

2 I won't use the chosen address in hourly checks of sites that give out BTC hourly. Just one check per site and if the site happens to be
down or rejects the address for any reason that will just be that address owner's bad luck... next time that address gets chosen, and there
is a good chance of that with so few entries so far, you may have better luck.  Also some sites do one time payouts or give out MTGox codes
or require sign-ups or downloads etc... I won't use the chosen address for sites like that.

This contest may change or be discontinued at any time. I will try to announce ahead of time if something like that happens.

I'd like to be added to the lotto if possible please Cheesy 18jcPx7zRUdHiwVJD7Y1isiHXDY3e3jbeL

Usually, once everyone knows about something, it becomes a bad investment.  Bitcoin however, is currently so hard to understand and use that it is still a good investment.
It's not hard to understand just takes a little work and the world is getting lazy

You are giving the majority of people in the world more credit than they deserve (or at least North America).  There are a LOT of dumb people in the world, or at the very least lazy.
