Expected to see 5 set match in the final, but Sinner was too good today. But now we have one of biggest what if question. I'm about Dmitrov injury when he was leading 2:0. Don't believe that he would had made comeback against healthy Dmitrov.
Chelsea is destroying PSG 3:0 at halftime and my prediction aged so badly.

It is interesting that 1-1 is quoted as only 7.70, and 0-0 as 15.00. Moreover, BTTS Yes/No is 1.71/2.16. There must be some bias here. Or maybe the bookmakers think that PSG is invulnerable and the main part of the BTTS No coefficient is that Chelsea will not score a goal.
I like Chelsea Double Chance 2.30 and goalless draw (too high odds)  Cheesy
That 0-0 @15 odds can't be ignored and this sounds spicy hot 🔥 especially that PSG meets a team with the park the bus blueprint, but the pressure will be too much for them to go goalless for 90 minutes and this is a lot of time, plus we have VAR that picks up on any funny infringements and possible penalties...maybe a fiver on this  Tongue

And btw PSG are not only invulnerable but they are invisible  Tongue
IMO, betting on 0-0 is nothing more than waste of money. Just look when it was last time when PSG game ended 0:0. I think it was in December. Now they're force that can't be stopped.
Don't expect much from Chelsea, I just hope that they won't get destroyed like Real in semifinal. Maybe scoring early goal is only way how Chelsea can win this.

I didn't expected much from Anisimova, but damn, double bagel in Grand Slam final issomething what you don't expect to see. Swiatek wasn't one of main favorites, considering how season is going for her, but now she is only active player in WTA who have 3 different Grand Slam titles.
Tomorrow in man final I can't imagine similar scenario. If it will happen, I'm ready to send $1000 to first person who will reply to this post Cheesy.

LFG Sinner!!!!! Grin Grin Cool Cool
Ok, so you're first one who replied. I'm a bit drunk and forgot one detail. I know that such results is almost impossible in 3 sets, so, that will be enough to get double bagel like in women tennis.
And now I just feel sorry for spectators who paid lot of money to see less than 1 hour of tennis. I think that cheapest tickets were for at least $300

Nothing intersting didn't happened today as things in Group C were already decided before last round. But now I can't wait for tomorrow - either England or Netherlands will go home after group stage. Too bad that games is on the same time as CWC final. UEFAis shooting on their own foot, don't know why they didn't moved games to earlier slot.

It's unfortunate that the hosts Switzerland are facing this Spanish team so early in the tournament, I really do not see way they can beat them, or any other team in the competition for that matter.

Italy vs Norway is a much more even affair and will make for a very interesting match.
True that Switzerland is facing most difficult opponet in 1/4 final, but I think they already should be happy for going out of group stage, it was only decided in last minutes.

Iga Swiatek won her sixth & first Wimbledon slam beating Anismova 6-0 6-0.This is the first ever double bagel recorded in Wimbledon finals history(Open Era) , Last time it happened was in 1911.

What a dramatic game between Switzerland and Finland. Hosts Switzerland got spot in 1/4 final only after scoring a goal on 90+2 minute and making score 1:1. Such a heartbreak for Finland.
Meanwhile, in group B no surprises, Spain and Italy goes to 1/4 finals. Portugal had minimal chances, but they haven't even won their game.

And the thing is that you see teams that are under the U15 level playing football.
Since you can see that the U15 football championship has also little to no interest, then why should people watch something of less competitiveness?

When an exchange that is targeted at EU consumers has more money rolling on a Bolivian match than the match between the two strongest teams in a group, it's clear there is nothing to feel surprised.

Damn, I don't know I'm more surprised that there is so little bets on Women's Euro or that someone in Europe is betting  on Bolivian football Cheesy

I think we can say that unlike in Conference League, Europa league 1st leg qualifying games ended without upsets. Sabah game vs Celje were hosts won 3:2 probably was most entertaining. True roller-coaster with ups and downs from both teams.
While there isn't many big scores. Only Shakhtar and Sheriff 99% secured their place in next round.

Such a disaster for clubs from Finland in 1st qualifying round. Not even talking about shameful Ilves loss against Shakhtar. Two other their clubs HJK and SJK lost vs small clubs from Faroe Island. Regular participant of group stages HJK were humiliated by Klaksvik 1:4. While SJK lost at home against Runavik 1:2
There is also huge upsets like Borac Banja Luka got destroyed 1:4 against Santa Coloma from Andorra. Odds for their win were about 15.00. Can't remember club from Andorra winning that big. And also, even club from San Marino got a win. Tre Fiori won 1:0 against Pyunik. Not bad night for underdogs, right?

Well thank you Shakira for the big win against that nearby to unknown team from the north. I was not expecting this huge win I was only expecting a difficult match with a maximum 3 goals margin.

Now I only need sinner not winning Wimbledon and i secure the win for this round.

Let's do it. I need the 3 points like water.
Damn, I thought that if I will be wrong, result will be something like 3:0 or 4:0, but 6:0 is something what I didn't saw coming. Now only Sinner can save my ass. Again, I can't get win, draw is best what I can get. Better than nothing and also, ruining situation for me opponent too Cheesy.

PSG is huge force now without any doubts, but how Real played in defence yesterday was disgraceful. Like that Rudiger mistake - in lower level leagues very likely that he would accussed for match fixing after such mistake.
Don't expect that Chelsea can beat PSG, but I think that they will give more fight than Real. Or I just want to think.

Yes right, Sabalenka is out! I’m glad she is, I just didn’t want to go with her after the struggle she had during the quarter finals, there is no way I can lose my duel, but I do need to get maximum to increase my points difference as I’m currently on the negative side.

Come on Iga! You’ve got this!
Sabalenka already didn't had easy life playing with Raducanu and Mertens. Few times it looked more like her opponents gave away win rather than she earned it. Like today, she almost returned from 1:4 in 3rd set.
While Swiatek, I think not many expected to see here in the final in such difficult season and when she never had great results on grass.

Bumping this topic as today 25/26 Europa League season begins with firstqulaifying round. 8 games will be played today:

A bit strange to see Shakhtar playing in this round, usually they were playing in Champions or Europa lague without qualifcation.
And maybe we have Serbian football experts? Can you tell why Partizan is clear underdog against AEK Larnaca. Because it looks strange for me, AEK doesn't looks like powerhouse. Or Partizan is just such weak.

With France win against Wales 2nd roud of group stage is concluded. In 3rd round games of each group wil be played on same time, as usual.
So far there isn't many upsets, things goes as planned. In some groups everything is already decided, while in Group A there will be direct clash between Finland and hosts Switzerland.
Also, either England or Netherlands will be eliminated already after group stage. But D is a group of death and someone had to die there.

Breaking news! Horner has officially left Red Bull...

Laurent Mekies is the new CEO of Red Bull team now. Honestly I'm not surprised with Horner's departure. He has already been rumoured with leaving. But I thought maybe it wouldn't happen before the end of the season.  Tongue

Now I have a stronger feeling like Verstappen will join Mercedes from the beginning of next season. There is already a so-called offer by Mercedes around 100 million euros for him now.
Or sacking Horner could be desperate attempt to keep Max in team. There is two versions of this decision. But now Red Bull looks like falling house of cards. Loosing key staff like Newey, or Wheatley, they're very likely to lose Verstappen andnow they sacked someone who in 20 years built team basically from zero to dominating force in F1

Yeah it looks like there's gonna be a couple of long breaks in the summer this season for both July and August.  They surely need it given the more hectic schedule in F1 as of late.  We've been seeing more weekly races than in the past as before every race was almost always every couple of weeks.
Personally I don't like such schedule. Yeah, it's cool to have double or triple headers, but then having 3 or 4 weeks break between races is too much for me.

What's up with Zalgiris? Never have they been this low in the league table at the start of the Champions League early qualifying rounds. They're like in the bottom half of the standings with half of the season already played. Did they have key players leave or idk is it financial problems? Need to know from the source hehe...I considered taking them outright but decided on FCSB -3AH instead. I expect the Romanian champions to easily win the first leg, anywhere from four to six goals...maybe even more.

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2025/07/09/Uwojm2.png
They were missing important players because of injuries, few new signings were way below expectations. On summer transfer window they added few new players, club legend Liviu Antal basically returned from retirement and now they good few wins, though, their game didn't improved much. They already wasted way too much to defend title, but still, I'm expecting that they will go through Hamrun. But they will struggle a lot.

Yep.
The only solution is to cover the tyres since fender has been rejected.
But again covering the tyres is against the nature of "formula1".

As you said is also an aerodynamic advantage covering they tyres.
Tyres are actually the biggest enemy for engineering since they make the air dirty around the car and wings has the job to deflate the air around tyres.

Now if they cover the tyres the air around them will be cleaner and a revolution of wings stats consequentially...
Currently full wet tyres is useless thing. If we have conditions for wet tyres, usually it means that we will have red flag. There is too much water on track and too bad visibility.
But we shouldn't be expecting for big changes. On TV broadcast our local commentator that Pirelli is working on new wet tyres. But it should be closer to current intermediate than current wet tyres.

Re: Zelensky memes

I am going to be honest and say it: to me it is kind of interesting how the president of a country can be a former comedian. When I first realized this fact when I searched for Zelensky on Wikipedia and other websites I felt a bit weirded out, I guess.
It must be because I come from a culture where presidents have always been (traditionally) soldiers, lawyers, doctors and  so on.  So it is weird to me to see a literal comedian leading a war.

Still, I suppose Ukrainian culture is different and his former job as a comedian helped him to appeal to the masses during the election he won.

No wonder people are going to use the fact he is a comedian to spread those kind of memes around the internet.
I see nothing strange there. From actors, singers, Tv hosts to street vendors or football players
https://www.businessinsider.com/presidents-pope-francis-prime-minister-careers-jobs-before-politics-zelenskyy-2023-6
So, as you see, Zelensky case isn't unique. But one thing is unique. Probably nobody else didn't had role of president in TV series before actually becoming president.

I will definitely submit mine very soon, I just need to be sure that there won’t be some funny business from the tennis side of things, Sabalenka is struggling early and Fritz is dominating 😏
I submitted my pick yesterday, but I already thought that I will have to use VAR because Sabalenka when she lost serve and Siegemund took a lead 3:4 in 3rd set. But upset didn't happened.
Yesterday felt so sad for Dmitrov. Leading 2:0 against 1st seed and then you have to retire because of injury...

Meme or russian propaganda? The pictures are simply attempting to discredit Ukrainian leader towards the foreigner allied nations, and in special among north american citizens, as most of the mentioned funds come from USA. Russia dreams about US cutting the support to Ukrainian forces for obvious reasons, and unfortunatelly a considerable portion of western citizens also bought the narrative and wish the same.
OP is doing things which doing usually. Spreading nonsense and fakes, he is really good on these things. At least it would be good if these memes would be fun and make sense. Though, that meme from Musk isn't bad, I admit.

Just for the sake of clarity, Zelensky got weapons which were worth billions of dollars, he was not sent billions of dollars in cash. That is a very important difference most people willingly ignored on Twitter/X during the presidential campaign.
Who cares about facts? Definitely not BADecker

Didn't found any other active self-moderated topic, so, I will bump this one. While we are waiting for CWC semifinals, Champions league 25/26 season will begin on Tuesday with 1st qualifying round.
Not many big clubs is starting in 1st round, but there is teams like Malmo, Ludogorets, FCSB, but they got quite easy opponents on paper. Going to make some bets. Here is Tuesday's schedule:
