Is the ICO listed on top ICO ratings websites?

They are listed at Track ICO, Bit Expert,  ICO Watch List, CoinSchedule, ICOHolder, ICO Marks, ICO Alert, ICOMarketCap.io, ICO Showroom, CoinMarketPlus, etc... you can check all on Bitto.tech site. Also on their site, you can check with whom are they in partnership.

Nice overview about those rating websites Smiley Do you know them all by heart or is there a list with all those ICO ranking services available? Which one is the most popular (sorry for being off-topic)?

Not really sure which one is THE most popular, but a google search for "best ICO" displays https://www.icohotlist.com as a first non-ad result

You are right but maybe that would be an interesting statistic to see which of them really outperformed most of the others. Should actually not be too hard to gather the data.

Since they charge a ridiculous amount of money to list new ICOs, they are able to pay for higher Alexa ranking etc.... To be honest I really don't care about those numbers, I care about the content on the website. My point is - no point in making that research, just take a look at their website - are they really experts in those ICO reviews.(ICO bench rated Binance 1.0)  Grin Grin

Wow I didn't know that! A 1.0 rating for Binance is quite a huge fail huh? Curious how those "experts" came up with that.

Yup lol take a look yourself. https://i.imgur.com/wT6RRFk.png
It was 1.05 / 5.0 until few days ago - this last review (March 3rd 2018) upped the score to 1.6 / 5.0. But that last is not really an ICO review because lol Binance is definitely not offering coins at 0.01$ anymore lol

https://i.imgur.com/wT6RRFk.png

https://icobench.com/ico/binance

And here's their "expert" review on Binance: "What is it (Binance)? Why is it listed?"    https://icobench.com/u/anbord7

It seems all these rating services suck. The best way is and will always be to just do your own research. There are no misleading incentives in your own judgment unless your brain tricks you into thinking the wrong things Wink

Own research is great, yes, except for people who did their research and ended up investing their life savings in Bitconnect xD
Most of the investors have a main job and Crypto is a side project so they like to see what people with full-time crypto jobs have in mind.

Can't blame them much, but hey - crypto is real money - treat it like such. Don't invest just because some guy told you too

Come on if they did thorough research and compared the payouts to what you can get in real life, you would right away be very careful about putting your money into Bitconnect. Whenever I see a project offering generally unrealistic payouts, I don't invest, period. And with this very simple rule I came to the conclusion that as of now all crypto-lending projects should be avoided and you won't lose money on them.

It's not the solution to avoid it, just to be more careful about investing in those kind of projects and do a thorough research Smiley

I think you would make a big mistake if you just dumped your coins after a month or so.

I am going to hold 100% of my Bitto until the end of 2018, then I will consider trading a bit. Pun intended  Cheesy

I will HODL  Bitto token too I have a chance to sell it right now, but I want to Hold it because I know that this will be strong token.

I didn't mean to dump it all right away ofc, I was just wondering, because I think I saw something on their web page about stacking :/

Also, can someone explain to me how staking works, is it implemented until now or it is yet to be done?
If you have at least 5000 bitto them you can stake - I think stakimg will begin before ico is over. You get additional Bitto at intervals of 15 days

So I suppose I will  have some benefits if I stake my coins?

Why are the PoS tokens better than PoW tokens? I'm asking because Bitto really stresses importance of being PoS token exchange?

My opinion on this: I really don't know why we had to make all those PoW tokens, it's kind of a wasted energy. PoS works just fine and cannot be hacked or abused since it's on a decentralized blockchain.

1. you don't need a machine to mine
2, owning a POS has 2 simultaneous benefits. - You reduce the circulating supply in the market, increasing the chances of the token price to increase, while passively earning tokens without a mining rig. Also it's more eco friendly since you back your assets by gold, fiat or company shares, and not solving complex math problems.

Straight to the centre, you explained it so efficiently. You deserve merit for this post but I don't have it. POS is future that is for sure, passively earnings are more way better than wasting electric energy on mining rigs.

Here's a stupid question but does this mean that PoS tokens are more newbie friendly?

In my opinion for the end user it doesn't make so much difference, but for new developers - yes. It's way more easier to make PoS tokens then to mine PoW. Also not just easier but also faster since you don't need mining rigs. Also - why do that when you can have decent PoS tokens which are virtually as secure as PoW. So - my conclusion: PoS is overall a better way to go.

Thanks! Now let's take Bitto to the moon!

That mate explained it step by step, thanks for sharing this informational text. I'm glad that other people recognize this project as great one. After soft-cap we will see more this kind of texts, it is nice to educate people about what BITTO actually is.

I duly agree with you, it is good to educate but also to spread the good word, because BITTO is a very good and promising projet! Cheesy

Keep up the good work good people! May the force be with ya Cheesy

I think Bitto at the moment is more like Harry Potter than Luke Skywalker, but the force is with it. Always xD

Just saw this on their facebook page:

"I see many wizards and witches coming to Bitto website and they are a bit confused with our Crypto Backed Loans.

Let me explain - say, you need 5 galleons to buy a new broom and a silver cauldron, but you only have 15 sickles and 4 knuts.

You have 10.000£ but you don't want to sell it because Queen's money makes way more sense than wizarding currency.

Worry not, fellow magical person! With Bitto you can borrow 4 galleons, 1 sickle, and 25 knuts without selling your muggle money.

Once the Ministry of Magic gives you your monthly salary, you can repay your lender, and your £££ are still yours in case you need to pay for electricity bills in muggle world.

You will have to pay 3 sickles and 18 knuts extra to your lender though because there's no magic in world of finance so no one will give you anything for free."

This must be inspired by this ann thread talk hahaha

I love the analogy, it's crazy accurate xD

I was thinking about learning Ruby for some time now, and now I have the time. I tried SoloLearn application and it's great, but it's only a beginners level. Do you have any suggestion?

Try some courses on coursera, it's great for anything you want to learn

Are you thinking increase  the amount of available token supply, or you're thinking even about diminishing it?

They plan on continuing token burns and buybacks to do token burns. It is in their whitepaper. They've already burnt 10 mil after the last ICO stage and will continuing doing such depending on if all the allotted tokens are bought. If they aren't all bought they will burn whatever is remaining from what I understand. The total supply could easily get below 20 million tokens.

So we're in the end looking into quite nice of a profit Smiley
Bitto.tech more and more sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Keep up the good work! Cheesy

I was reading about your exchange platform and ran into the part where traders can give kind of loans to each other, so I was interested is there some kind of minimal or maximal limit on how much can one trader lend from another?

Bitto is not giving loans, users are. So as long as it suits both users and they have at least some crypto to back up their deal, it will be fine. As for daily interest - again that's with the users to decide. If someone is desperate enough to borrow money for 18% daily interest, he will.

So borrowing then isn't such a good idea?

Sorry, I thought you were asking is lending a bad idea. I was writing about lending in the previous comment. Borrowing is good under couple of circumstances - if you want to hold some of your assets. Let's say you don't want to sell NEO because you know it will recover after a great new year dip, but you need money to pay for your car repair. You borrow money with a good contract (5% per month) and once your NEO rises up, you sell some of it and repay your lender with some interest. That way everyone win (except for the panic sellers and inexpirienced buyers who want to buy NEO from you when its rising lol

BTW I can't wait to see Bitto loan in action because I will be able to borrow to people in my country. When they see familiar name, they will feel confident to do business, and of course the rates will be better than at banks so again everybody win (on the HODL team xD)

But what happens if the person who borrowed the money loses everything and can't repay to the lender? Can that even happen?

And yes, I think trust is the key in this kind of business.

Person who borrowed the money has Crypto (or Bitto) to back their loan. He gets fiat currency in return. If he does not return what he had took, his crypto goes to the lender. Of course that can happen.

Thanks for clearing things up for me Cheesy
I hope Bitto will succeed! Cheesy
