Re: Why Do Crypto Enthusiasts Hate Facebook Coin?
by
Lagonda
on 27/06/2019, 16:45:36 UTC
Firstly, people hate Mark Zuckerberg after his data selling incident. How can you possibly believe in a person who once stabbed on your back? Secondly, cryptocurrency is all about decentralization meanwhile Libra is obviously centralized. Finally, Libra, with the population of facebook, will affect crypto and make goverments take eyes or even insert their nose to cryptoworld. The only thin Libra can contribute is a free marketing tool to cryptocurrency world.

Re: New coins – GRAM, LIBRA, LAW etc. What is the most promising one?
by

on 27/06/2019, 16:38:06 UTC
I heard that Gram had a billion-dollar private sale in 2018. But it was not until recent, another piece of news about this coin was released. It's unteresting though. Libra is a stable coin while Law is surely the least known among three projects. As the result, Gram is the most promising project to put money on.

Re: Between ICO and IEO
by
Lagonda
on 27/06/2019, 16:29:20 UTC
IEO is just another form of ICO. But IEOs are safer than ICOs. Looking at how Matic, Fet, Harmony flew on Binance, I dare say that IEOs are also more profitable than ICOs. The only thing to be aware of is that, when investing in an IEO, it must be an IEO on a well known exchange, like Binance or Huobi.

Re: Doge coin is good or bad for investment ?
by
Lagonda
on 27/06/2019, 16:25:34 UTC
Until now, I still don't get it why so many people hyped about Doge. It's just a coin born in the year of dogs according to Chinese lunar calendar. Only a Musk's tweet made it pumped hard. If you're looking for a serious investment, I would say Doge isn't a good choice. It's too risky. You should go for other better altcoins, such as top alts: ETH, LTC, XMR...

Re: Investing in anonymous cryptocurrencies
by

Investing in anonymous cryptocurrencies in long term is tricky, I think. Crypto enthusiasts and black market dwellers love anonymous coins but governments specially hate them, much hater than other coins. So many anonymous but I only see XMR, ZEC or Komodo valuable. Don't fall for anonymous-hyped trash coins like XVG.

Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins
by
Lagonda
on 27/06/2019, 07:35:47 UTC
There's only one king: Bitcoin. All other coins called altcoins. A lot of other coins can do the same thing as BNB did. Admittedly, BNB is a good alcoin but it will never be the king of all coins.

You must have read the term centralized, decentralized. BNB is shit centralized coin. Regarding fee, you still can send huge amount with lower fee in bitcoin but I know that will be huge slower, bt after Lightening Network implementation, fee will be reduced hugely.
Although I generally agree with you, Lightning Network is just a hype. It's flawed and still struggling to perfectize itself.

Re: 1155 - The new standard?
by

Fragmented?
Every EIP-ERC standards have an corresponding uses or improvement of their successor like ERC 721 creation of Non fungible token / Fungible Token -> Now ERC 1155 the improve version of ERC 721
Yes, the creations of ERC standards are somehow similar to creations of altcoins. So many altcoins serve the same purpose while real usage is nearly zero. I didn't specifically mean ERC 1155. Every standard with real usage is appreciated. Just check the abundant proposed standards in the link I mentioned.

There are so many active ERC standards actually. ERC 20, ERC 223, ERC 721, ERC 1155 etc. The last one seems capable when it can handle fungible, non-fungible and semi-fungible tokens. But yet there are even many more proposal standards, you can find it here: https://eips.ethereum.org/erc. Somehow, a diversification of standards is good but too many makes the ERC ecosystem fragmented.

From my first glance, Ferrum is a solid project although I don't know much about people's perception on cryptocurrency in Africa. However, why don't you reveal some result information of the completed private sales?

Re: How would you measure Decentralization?
by
Lagonda
on 21/06/2019, 20:14:12 UTC
As far as I know, there's no measure of decentralization yet. But you can measure centralization at a approximate level. For example, Bitmain is holding around 42% hash rate of Bitcoin Cash. It's very close to 51% attack's redline. And hence, BCH's centralization is high, i.e its decentralization is low.

Re: Libra May kill all stable coins and may be best trading pair for bitcoin
by

on 21/06/2019, 19:56:18 UTC
So many topics with "Libra king of crypto" or something like that already and now at least there's a meaningful topic. Since USDT is flawed while other stable coins are too small in market cap, Libra may be the stable king with its huge supply and big investors' fame. Yes it maybe used as a base trading coin then.

As far as I know, Hhampuz is well known and recognized for valuable signature campaigns. bubbalex is kind of new to campaign managing but he's capable, supportive and strict on his evaluation. Arteezy.rtx is an old manager, however I don't like his stake diversifications on Facebook and Twitter campaigns (only two levels: <500 friends/followers and > 500). I don't know much about the rest of your list.

By the way, I'd like to name some other qualified managers (according to me): Parodium & julerz12 (for normal bounties), yahoo62278 (mostly sig campaigns).

Re: Ethereum is slow in price?
by
Lagonda
on 21/06/2019, 18:54:39 UTC
I have the same feeling that Ethereum is slow after bitcoin. Remember that bitcoin's ATH was $19k and almost at the same time, ETH reached an ATH of $1400. Thinking that way, ETH should be at around $700 now, knowing that BTC is almost $10k. I think you have this kind of thought. But, in the past, ETH was boosted by ICOs. And now, ICOs are gone and ETH's price is purely driven by market.

Re: Question about Bounty mangers
by
Lagonda
on 21/06/2019, 16:50:51 UTC
Whether you choose the first or second option, both have advantages and disadvantages. Those advantages and disadvantages mainly come from honesty of bounty manager or project team. It doesn't matter if both manager and team are honest and vice versa if one party is dishonest. From point of view of a bounty doer, I prefer the first option based on the fact that bounty manager's reputation can be evaluated through time. Whereas, project teams' are not that easy to evaluate.

Re: People are losing confident and interest in altcoins
by

on 21/06/2019, 04:52:10 UTC
Just because of you're losing your faith on altcoins doesn't mean that other people are the same. Infact, market showed many positive signs. I saw a lot of 30-50% pumps in the last few weeks when bitcoin recovered from $7000 to $8000. No one can tell you how long it's gonna take. It's just whether you can keep your patient or not. If you buy your alts when bitcoin was at $19k, I think it'll be long.

Of course it's not. Only idiots say Libra is a Bitcoin's threat. How can be a stable, centralized coin threaten bitcoin? Only one thing that Libra wins over bitcoin is that it consumes a lot of attraction in the last couple of days and makes people for get the fact that bitcoin is reaching $10k.

Re: Long-term plan for investment.

Hy all. How are you.Do you have a long-term plan for cryptocurrency investment? What are your plans, Is it only to gain profits in the future? Or you have hope and other dreams. Thank you very much.
A simple question but it remains a debatable one at any time. Long plan for crypto investment is always increasing your bitcoin. To do so, you must spend a specific amount of holding. My pick for long term holding is BNB. It's Binance's native currency so as long as Binance lives well, it lives well. Besides, it's ETH. There ain't such a coin is has been developing as well as ETH. ATOM is another investing worthy altcoin.

Re: What happened with telegram TON ICO ??
by
Lagonda
on 14/06/2019, 16:42:58 UTC
ATTENTION!
Japanese Liquid crypto currency exchange has announced the public sale of tokens Gram from Telegram. Now Gram token will go on sale to regular crypto buyers for the first time next month through a listing on crypto exchange Liquid on July 10.
I have already prepared for this event. For interested parties I publish a link to the Liquid exchange: https://app.liquid.com/markets

You need to have a verified account to receive your Gram tokens!
Well, though Liquid is a good Japanese exchange but Gram Asia is a third party unit, separating from Telegram. Until there's an official announcement from Telegram about Gram Asia's token legality, I will skip this ICO.
Update: Telegram denies relationship with Gram Asia: https://www.coinspeaker.com/telegram-gram-asia-token-sale-bluff/. Liquid, what are you doing?

Re: Why DEX (Decentralized Exchange) still unpopular?
by
Lagonda
on 14/06/2019, 16:23:18 UTC
DEXes are born after CEXes. When DEXes are completed and matured, CEXes take a majority of market share already. One more reason is that, people are too familiar with centralization and need time to get used to with decentralization. In my opinion, DEXes are the ultimate destinations of crypto. Sooner or later, Binance DEX or IDEX, Fork Delta...will replace Binance, Okex or Kucoin.

Re: Bounties is not a reliable source of income
by

on 14/06/2019, 15:55:56 UTC
There's a fact that many people are living on bounties or at least taking it as a full time job. This is a dangerous misconception. Doing bounties doesn't bring you any useful skills. Rather than that, spending about 3-4 hours a day in free time doing bounties while having a professional job at day time would be more ideal.
