Re: So does anyone really have any idea of where this market is going?
by

I'm wanting to average in some more $, but wondering if we'll see the $107 LTC and/or $750 ETH again soon? What's your opinion? Is there a time frame we should see a bottom based on past history?

The time you're waiting for has just arrived. Currently, the price of ETH is less than $750 and is a very good entry point before it goes back to $1000+. LTC, on the other hand is at $130 level but is also a good entry point. I think it will decline further but nothing is for certain in this situation.

There is no time frame in calling the top nor bottom because we are talking about cryptocurrency. They could increase or decrease anytime. Their history could be a guide but not at all times.

Re: Crypto Market down trend
by

Is it true that the market down trend will last until March? What do you think we can do? Hold or cutloss?

No one exactly knows when will the current down trend will end. It might last until March or April and this is what I think also. There is a great resistance at the moment that's why we keep on seeing the market bloody. The trend started on late December and lasting on March or April is not that bad.

Why do you think the price keeps on decreasing? Because many are selling even though the price is so low. So we must hold our coins. Will cutting our losses will do anything? None. Well it will make the price decrease even more. Cutting losses is just like feeding the whales and don't ever feed the whales.

AFAIK, you haven't lost anything yet unless you sell your coins at a very low price.

Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation?

Prices are low and it is presenting a good opportunity ... are you excited about the situation? how do you exploit the retracement to your advantage?
Some investors are worried, but many of us are doing great business and will continue to do so in the coming days.
Which of the purchases of these days made you happier? did you do it on new products (new to you) or did you recover something that you missed in the past?
What are you keeping an eye on and hope to take during the next days?

The market lately is very exciting. This is a great opportunity in order to get on the train before it goes running again. Though it is a great opportunity, I am just so unlucky that I haven't received my long awaited funds. I am planning to buy some known coins that I missed from the past years such as LTC, Monero, etc. I just hope I'll be on time when I receive my funds. I don't want to miss the train again.

Re: Litecoin Cash - hard fork of LTC - IS COMING !

First impression when I read this topic was "what? why?". To be honest, I do not know why would they fork Litecoin when Litecoin does not face any form of struggles of some sort. And when I read the ANN thread of this, I see it as a great move. Moving to SHA256 is a good move for Litecoin. It's just like he's following what his father is. However, by increasing the total supply by 10 is what that bothers me. Why increase the supply?

Re: Ethereum will beat Bitcoin?
by

Many of the crypto analysts and investors think that Ethereum will beat the bitcoin by the end of the next year. What's your opinion on it? Specially when market is down ans Ethereum is still performing better.

Will beat Bitcoin in terms of what? Market cap? It is possible but it does not mean anything significant at all. From Bitcoin's circulating supply of 16M to Ethereum's circulating supply of 97M, there's no doubt about ETH overtaking Bitcoin in terms of market capitalization. It's just a multiplication of the supply and the current price so regardless who's on top, Bitcoin is still the one.

The low buy orders are set. Now we can buy for potential future profits. When the shilling stops you know it's time.

There have been some nice ICOs released that were just unlucky with timing. They have a lot of hype and some haven't had a chance to run. They're a good speculative play IMO. Trade safe🔒 I hope everyone makes some fantastic profits from this opportunity in a few months ✌️

The best part of cryptocurrency is there's enough success for all of us. It's still so new, we have so much time to capitalise on this amazing technology.

This is the perception of experienced and educated person in the field of cryptocurrency. Most or almost all of the newbies fell for the price drop but as a matter of fact, this is the point when things go exciting.

I think ICOs started at the bear market is a ggod thing. They just started from the bottom. I think it's a bed thing if you started like a bubble, right? Starting low is a good thing so that investors could see significant growth

Many similar threads are popping Embarrassed

Because many are selling BTC instead of buying. Basic supply and demand. Some concerns about banning of cryptocurrency in South Korea might helped the downtrend. Some are untiringly spreading FUDs that might've triggered panic selling.

Hey guys do you think that Bitcoin price will continue decreasing ?  Huh

Just for a while. As long as Bitcoin stays to be bearish, we will continue to see Bitcoin drops some value. However, it's just the beginning of 2018 and the market could shift from bearish to bullish in an instant.

Can someone tell me why the price of BTC is Crashing ? Will it go back to 1USD =1BTC ?

Crash, seriously? You are exaggerating things. A drop or decline would be a much suitable term from the recent price decrease. Besides, we are at the middle of January and we are experiencing bearish market ever since 2018 enters, nothing is to be worried about.

1USD = 1BTC? Exaggeration might have been an understatement for you Roll Eyes

sa tingin nyo, magiging no.1 kaya c xrp at magiging no.2 nalang si bitcoin sa hinaharap?Huh

Re: Bitcoin domination era is over?

Hi,

Bitcoin domination is under 40% and Ripple is exploding.

Do you think we are witnesses of the End of Bitcoin Domination Era? Is this a sign of bitcoin going down the drain?

Though Bitcoin's dominance is under 40%, it's still dominating other cryptocurrency. Thus, Bitcoin's dominance is still there and unbeaten. Ripple is just pumping at the moment. Sooner or later it will dump and Bitcoin will increase in value again. This is just things work so there's nothing to be paranoid about.

Re: What's the reason why BTC rise or decline?
by
Lambo-san
on 06/01/2018, 20:16:12 UTC
Huh As we all know, the recent 2 months, BTC has risen to $15000 quickly. This never happened is the past. How to explain this phenomenon?

The price of Bitcoin is driven by the community. Meaning it could increase or decrease depending on its community. That's the reason why Bitcoin is so volatile in nature. The swift increase in Bitcoin's price would the due to the exponential growth of its user and its demand. We cannot argue about Bitcoin-awareness being spread fast via mass media and social media. This have a big impact in Bitcoin's price. Thus, quick increase.

Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Cryptocurrency!
by

on 06/01/2018, 19:55:20 UTC
Your thoughts on Facebook and Google creating its own Cryptocurrency. I know BTC is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies and currently has the highest value but if this two giant companies will release their own cryptocurrencies I don't think anyone would want miss that. Its not impossible right? Similarly Other companies like twitter & Youtube and even UBER can also dig into cryptocurrencies. If major companies can consider BTC as their main cryptocurrency, BTC value will definitely skyrocket.

Any link that could give fruitful information about these future new cryptocurrencies? Aside from google.com, of course.

I cannot see any problem about them creating their own cryptocurrency and it should be beneficial for Bitcoin since this will increase the awareness regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. If ever Facebook and Google will launch their own coin/token then they are worth to invest in.

Re: When will Bitcoin rise?
by
Lambo-san
on 03/01/2018, 20:02:44 UTC
when do you thing Bitcoin is gonna rise again?
its preety much stuck in 12k to 15k!
why is that?
Mcfee said it will reach 1m!
when is that gonna happen?

Bitcoin is at a bearish movement at the moment so it's not surprising being at the 12k-15k level. 2017 was a crazy bull run and it seems the bull is taking a break. Bitcoin will rise again, there's no doubt about that but we should not expect Bitcoin to run all the time. Patience. Bitcoin will eventually reach that price but not in an instant.

Re: Bitcoin is on the news
by

on 03/01/2018, 19:56:44 UTC
I have watched bitcoin in the news and they warned the viewers about this matter. Will this increase or decrease the value of bitcoin?

Warned about what? Bitcoin? Regardless of the news being positive or negative towards Bitcoin the end result will be positive for Bitcoin. Bitcoin became popular because it was published in a magazine that states that Bitcoin is being used to purchase drugs (I've read this in this forum months ago). It's a negative news but it turned positive towards Bitcoin. So will the news you watched would result in an increase or decrease in Bitcoin's price? Either. Bitcoin is volatile. The possible demand increase would not be that huge to influence the current price.

Re: Bitcoin is going to crash again?
by
Lambo-san
on 03/01/2018, 19:42:26 UTC
Hi,

It seems BTC is going to crash again. When compare the btc charts in the last several years, it is common to crash in late Dec and January. Is that happening again? According to the price action, btc dump possible at this time. Keep watch btc.

Even though the recent price chart of Bitcoin is similar or very similar to those charts in the past it does not mean the the same exact trend will happen today. Bitcoin is different today from then. The popularity, the demand, the support, it's not the same so a pattern is just a pattern. Though we can use it as a guide but it will not be a mirror of that event.

Yes, Bitcoin could crash anytime but it could also soar anytime. Many are eager to see Bitcoin crash because they are eager to buy more and at the same time many are eager to see Bitcoin soar so that they could sell some of their coin for profit. Regardless of what would happen, crash or soar, Bitcoin will recover quickly.

Re: Which cryptocurrency is best to buy today?

please anyone guide me.I want to buy cryptocurrency.

That would depend on your preferences. Whether for a short term investment of for a long term. Perhaps dependent on your usage as well. Will you use it for a macro transactions or for micro. There are many factors to consider but I'll assume that you are up to the profits so selecting the existing strong coins will be the best option. BTC, BCH, ETH, XRP, IOT would be in my preference but if you want some new coins/tokens out there, consider TPAY (not yet tradeable) , XUC, POS.

Re: What's going on with the price today?
by
Lambo-san
on 26/12/2017, 17:05:13 UTC
Things looked somewhat promising yesterday as it was holding steady in the mid-high 16k range, even breaching 17k. Now it's in the low 15k. What's going on? Are we still hodling? Newbie asking for a friend here.

Nothing is to be worried about. This is just the aftershock of the recent correction. Some holders with weak hands panicked when they saw Bitcoin is not increasing anymore and they sold their coins to get out of the uncertain situation. As you can see now, Bitcoin is at the 16,000 level again. It could drop again or increase this time. No one knows but one thing is for certain, no matter what the current trend of the price of Bitcoin, it will increase eventually and surpasses its own records.

Re: kahalagahan ng private key
by
Lambo-san
on 13/12/2017, 18:28:10 UTC

Ang private key ay may associate public key so in pairs sila lagi. Kung password ang pinakang key sa Bitcoin wallet, magiging centralized ito dahil kelangan ng main server na magsasave lahat ng data about the user's password. So I think this is the reason why private key and not passwords.

Maganda to OP. Basic tips, guidelines, dos and don'ts, etc.
