The point is during the crash, no one's account grew, but my account shrunk far less than anyone elses I knew because my DCA was so defensive. I even got away with DCAing coins only once or twice that were as low as -25 to -40% and they sold at my gain of 8% and they trailed up to sell high. In fact my account in the last 3 weeks has grown by nearly 20% despite cashing out most of my profits on both my Binance and Bittrex acount. My strategy is strong on defence and attack.

I have my gain set at 7% at the moment and I still get sales, but not as frequent as during Nov, Dec of course. Some days very few, some days a handful, the markets are gradually returning now, and I have done a few 1.5% and 2% days recently, but not every day.

I am willing to hold my coins for any amount of time, because I am playing a different game to most people, most guys have crap settings because they haven't traded much manually nor do they understand how prices move, or have much technical analysis knowledge unlike me. The way PT trades for me is very close to how I trade in real life.

I have 20 pairs on my ETH Binance account, 18 pairs on my BTC Binance account and 12 pairs on my BTRX account.

If you've actually read the article, all of that is explained. And I am completely transparent, about the ins and outs, this is the most honest article about PT on the internet.

I don't know of any bot that works with GDAX. The Pinescript trading view language might be able to connect with the api though but you'd have to do some research and create it yourself.

BUT I am also now part of the official beta testing team for PT 2.0 and because the new prototype PT is so much more advanced, I'm holding off taking on many more people until the new one is released because I am in the process of testing new features so I can integrate them as part of a programme and be far ahead of the game when it does get a final release. That might be confirmation bias. I know lots of people who use bots effectively. If you didn't start with a bot, and became a good trader you most likely do not need one, even so people who understand Python, TA Lib, Pinescript (Trading View's native script) are able to automate their successful setups and do much more than manually trading. The question you have to ask yourself is, do you have the time, discipline, willingness to want to daytrade? 95% will not, and they will fail miserably doing so. I learnt so much from using the likes of Profit Trailer and Gunbot and will say both made me a better trader because I sat for hours learning what they did as well as reading about successful trading strategies used by pros, essentially my method is a hybrid where I setup Profit Trailer to mimick the way I would like to trade. I've had winning trades of huge profit margins overnight when asleep 4am, 5am etc when the Asian markets opened which I could never have performed physically.

If you are a beginner I suggest you learn fundmental TA skills, read about Wyckoff theory, get a free trading view account, and then look at reviews like I've written bout Profit Trailer and then ask yourself, what do you want to achieve, how much time do you have, what toold might help you, that's what I did, and made a lot of money doing so.

I'm looking for someone with knowledge of how to setup a bot/automated trades using Trading View and the AutoView/Pinescript function. I have been testing a few things but I don't have the time or knowledge to be able to turn this into an AutoView/Pinescript myself. I'm looking to pay someone a small amount (negotiable) who understands and can do the actual coding for me.

Okay I've now updated the article so that it has my uploaded pictures from my sales log, take a look and see the sales I made from Dec 15th to Jan 15th where I turned 0.15btc to 0.85 btc

It will be several tiers, like a basic offer will be troubleshooting someone's settings and working out a system that might work for them, teaching them how to react do different market conditions etc, a more advanced programme will be all that plus understanding how to understand price action, markets in general, Trading View. I'm going to add more details soon, but the guide itself will be more than enough for most people who have at least some level of understanding of how to use PT, so it will be relatively cheap.

Agree that the sooner this is cleared up the better. However from looking at the CTFC archive most of their investigations take years, so I'm not going to stop trading crypto because it looms over, but I've just got contingency plans to mass panic sell then move btc to GDAX and sell for fiat quickly if I see indication it is definatately in the wrong once they conclude.

What do you think could be achieved by Blockchain and decentralisation in the future? For me the question is very much linked with decentralisatio of resources.

Some futurists believe we'll live in a post capitalist society; at present we have in many ways the worst aspects of capitalism- and the central banks, governments are dinosaurs who are failing to adapt, partly because of vested interests, partly because the systems in place are from the analogue era and so cumbersome they have no dynamism, or ability to change at all, and when something new happens they feel threatened.

I believe because of the rate of exchange of information in the digital age, the rate of change is exponential and at some point a lot of the old order will be rebuilt, to be more open to change but also a lot of decentralised communities may be able to in part break away from the remnant shackles of empire, banksters etc.

The issue of peer review and transparancy- unaccountable centralised apps, social media, platforms, exchanges etc may start seeing a user base drop once a competent decentralised competitor emerges, but of course we are some way away from seeing twitter, Google, youtube etc being challenged realistically.

I read that gold has a -40% correlation with Bitcoin so I do think it's prudent to have both. Gold also rises when the S&P 500 and Dow Jones crashes, and BTC is now more closely correlating with the S&P 500.

Yes btc volume vs eth volume on pairs is a good point, though I know people who do ETH and have told me they are happy with their results

Another good point. In my article I also explain how to use the minimum buy balance% feature so it locks up a % of your btc balance so you preserve profits as time goes on and it dynamically adjusts according to the value and size of your overall holdings, another excellent feature.
