sounds promising for me, as they already have a working product. far better than the most ICOs!

Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now?
by

Decred (DCR). Current profit around 1.8% per month and each PoS gives you a vote power in the coin's future (check out more infos in Decred topic).

It is also flying "below radar" - it will annunce lightning nextwork next days and several other features defined in the roadmap. The dev team is delivering in time.

im staking decred since a year now, and i really love it. it was more profitable at the beginning, but still nice, and im sure this coin will increase its value alot (lightning network release should come in 5 days i think).

next target should be around 800$ for january 18 Roll Eyes

serious?
I think its quite positive that the price keeped stable after another bug was found out and killed 280 million dollars...

I love ETH....but it is by far not the perfect coin. And for reaching that high...you have to be the BEST platform with no doubts.

As longer it takes as more competitors come and as harder it gets with every bug.

400$ is what i see.

the "bug" was not a fault of ethereum, the fault was made by the user.

on 09/08/2017, 03:12:52 UTC
Hi guys,

do you have experience with the Zotac GTX 1080 Ti Mini for mining? i would buy this model cheaper than other 1080ti, but im note sure if the cooling is enough for mining, as its a "mini" card.

what are ur tought and experiences with this card so far?

and do you think it is possible to run 3 of them with a 750w PSU?

thanks in advance

great review, so you would say a 1070 rig is more profitable in dual mining eth lbry than mining zec?

edit: does someone have dual mining stats for a 1080 ti?

Re: Best Profitable Setup for 1200W PSU
by
LarryL
on 07/05/2017, 02:51:57 UTC
Well the maximum $ per day would be 5x GTX 1080 Ti with a power limit around 60% so that they only use ~150-155 watts each (may vary from GPU to GPU). Theoretically you could manage 6 at 150 watts but that is more then I would do personally. What PSU do you have?

dont have a PSU at the moment, want to check first what kind of rig i want to build. so maybe 5x 1080ti and 1x 1060 6gb should run easy?

Re: Best GPU's to mine ZCASH with?
by

as i said AT THE MOMENT OF WRITING , stongest card providing HIGHER HASH RATE (no matter the power consumption)  is RADEON PRO DUO ... 900 to 1100 hashes /s  depending on the oc you apply ... of course the higher the hash rates the more inefficient it is... at 900 hashes is a bit less efficient than nvidia cards (4.5 w for each hash)
Per that number the TI only uses 156 w per hash?

The 1080 Ti can be set to do ~600 sols at ~150-155 watts. About 3.9 hash per watt ratio. You can get it up around 700 sols or higher but it will use the full 250 watts and beyond, making it very inefficient if you run it that way.

so running 6x 1080ti should be possible with a 1200W psu?

by

on 07/05/2017, 00:50:25 UTC
hi guys,

im thinking about building a new mining rig. the ROI is not my first priority, i want to get the maximum of $ per day out of it with a 1200W psu. what card setup do you guys suggest for this goal? i tought about 3x gtx 1080 ti and 2x gtx 1070 but maybe you have a better suggestion.

thanks in advance
