Re: 2022-12-16 BeInCrypto: FTX Patronu SBF 115 Yıl Ceza Alabilir

Re: 2022-12-19 Coinotag: İlk Bitcoin ATM’si Nerede Kuruldu? Dünyada Kaç Tane Var?
by
Lauri.co
on 09/12/2023, 11:44:13 UTC

İlk 5’i tamamlayan sonraki ülkeler İspanya (270), Polonya (214) ve El Salvador (212).

Yerel makamlar, bilgisayar korsanlarının dijital varlık platformu Coincheck’e saldırdığı 2018’in başında tüm kripto ATM’lerini kapattı.

Çin’in (tüm kripto para birimi faaliyetlerinin yasak olduğu yer) sıfır makineye sahip olduğunu söylemeye gerek yok

Cihaz sayısı 2015’in sonunda yavaş yavaş 500’ün üzerine çıkarken, Aralık 2017’de dünya çapında neredeyse 2.000’e ulaştı.

Hey Bitcointalk community,

I'm thrilled to introduce you https://blockdyor.com/, a new website dedicated to all things Bitcoin, altcoins, and beyond. It's basically a blog where you can discover weekly reviews and helpful guides about various products and services related to Bitcoin and cryptos.

You can stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends by subscribing to the free newsletter. Simply click the "Subscribe" button located at the bottom right corner of the website, or just follow this link: https://blockdyor.com/#/portal/signup.

See you in cyberspace!

blockdyor
This is the right category for this thread. The site looks great, it's great to see it full of articles and stories you all have written over the past few months. That shows some commitment, all too often, people post a news site or blog just a couple days after starting it, and it always fizzles out.

The articles themselves are insanely detailed, keep that up and this will definitely start getting organic traffic if it hasn't already.

Is it even possible to lotto mine BTC on something like a newpac USB miner?  Just doing some rough math, it looks like it's more likely the Sun will explode before it finds a block.  So if not BTC, what other SHA-256 (that the newpac would be able to mine) would be worth lotto mining?
Hello guys! First of all i’m new here just reading some of your interesting discussions and trying to learn a bit more about bitcoin mining…

So i’m asking, even if it may be possible to theoretically solve a block with some small miner like a newpac usb, is small gear like that capable of solving a block in technical terms? As far as i understand you need to get an accepted share having a difficulty higher than the network difficulty to succsesfully solve a block. Is small gear like a newpac with approximately 100 gh/s capable of getting a valid share with that kind of difficulty? Does it have enough „power“ even it is very very unlikely?

Re: Questionnaire to help me start mining
by
Lauri.co
on 09/12/2023, 09:53:14 UTC
Hello. I have been thinking a lot about buying ASIC miners and start mining.

However, I have some questions for the forum members, that will give me a general picture of the mining process and how to make it efficient.

Furthermore, I think we could gain some insight on what most people do in regards to mining.

My purpose is to observe experienced people and see how they mine, so perhaps I can follow their instructions.

So my questions are:

1. Are you mining? If no, what is the main reason? I reckon financial issues will be the top factor, but let's see.
2. Are you solo mining or mining using a pool? Please elaborate on what kind of devices you use. Also, in case you use a pool, if you feel comfortable, share which ones you use.
3. Are you mining on your premises or are you using hosting facilities? If you mine on premises, how do you deal with the electricity costs and the noise?
4. (Leave every other note you have here - free text)
1. I used to, but not anymore because it's not profitable and higher rank Asic miners costs even more right now, I am waiting for new Asic miner before I go back into action.

2. Solo mining is like buying the lottery ticket, I don't recommend, I use popular mining pool.

3. I mine in a separate room where I live, I abandoned the room for mining only because it's not healthy to stay in the same room with degrees of heat everywhere, I believe using facilities comes to mind if you want to run many miners at once.

4. If one want to invest in mining I believe right now is the best time, because the price are better and it will increase once Bitcoin price starts making new highs, and profit wise will be way better than what it is today, a $2000 worth of asic miner can go up to $3500 or more in a bull market.

Re: History of garage mining in Russia
by

on 09/12/2023, 09:44:01 UTC
Usolye-Sibirskoye is a city in the Irkutsk region of Russia with a population of less than 100,000 people.
Iskutsk is known for its cheap electricity prices in Russia.
For individuals in a garage, the price is about $0.017 per kilowatt.

In one of these garages there were approximately 9 ASICs with a consumption of 20-30 kilowatts per hour, and this garage was located next to the courthouse.
As a result of the fire, no one was injured, except for the ASICs and the garage, but there are many such stories in Irkutsk.

in Russian
https://bits.media/v-usole-sibirskom-zagorelas-pristroyka-k-zdaniyu-mirovogo-suda-iz-za-podpolnogo-mayninga/
If you had electricity at $0.017 per kilowatt or slightly less, would you not be mining?
In Irkutsk in recent years, only lazy people have not invested in mining. In fact, there are a lot of such cases, and that’s why energy workers have started hunting for miners.

Hey guys i was gonna launch my first bitcoin mining rig with one whatsminer and one antminer?and i was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what to put them on (i heard u cant leave the miners to mine on a table the vibration is not good for their longevity ) let me know ?.everything else has been taking care off the temp ventilation power all good🙏
If you have 2 ASICs and need to reduce noise, then think about buying a noise box.
2 fans or one do not cause strong vibration, so ASICs can be installed on ordinary shelves.
Do not install ASICs in damp areas and there where thieves can easily steal.

i Just want to start using wallet on my android how to save my Btc when lost my phone ??

(Not need google results Need real experiences )

I use on my phone Mycelium. But I use it only to monitor some wallets, so I can't give 100% steps, only advises on what you should try yourself.
And whatever people tell, you should test it first for yourself anyway.

As you maybe know, in Bitcoin world all that matters is the wallet's private key or keys. HD wallets have a seed based on what they can generate private keys "by a rule", but the principle is the same.
So you need the private keys or the seed to be kept safe. If your phone gets stolen, you'll have to move fast, restore the wallet(s) on another machine from seed/private keys and move out your coins before the thief will do that.

So I said I have Mycellium. This one allows you to backup your data. You can test yourself doing a backup, erase Mycellium data from your phone, uninstall it, then install and restore from backup. See if the wallet address remains unchanged. I really think that they know what they do and you can safely use Mycellium. Make sure that you keep the backup data in a really safe place.

Another option is hardware wallet. If you have a bigger amount of Bitcoin you should consider this option, it's the safest

Re: Alternative source to invest in the Bitcoin since the price gone scarily high
by
Lauri.co
on 09/12/2023, 09:15:08 UTC
I have been making some test runs about Bitcoins investment trading and finally got it Worth investing in but I am pretty hardworking but a dime penny earner who has developed efforts to take advantage in the Bitcoin industry but the price of Bitcoin to my period of time of investing seems too high for me and I can't afford to make and exchange of my local fiat currency which is extremely too low comparing to the USD if I must atleast buy some fractions of the Bitcoin.
Imagine where my fiats exchange rate of USD is $1= #1,180 and I makes an approximate profits of #47,200 equivalent to $40 in a monthly basis from my little fibres businesses which has to pay my bills of some essential expenses.

In couple of times now, I have been chasing all sorts of jobs til I was called upon (employed) in a security personnel recruitment which my employment/ offer letter was handed to us the security crew personells on the 29-11-2023.
While in a conference orientation seminar with the CEO, I suggested to the management committee if they can pay those who are interested to be paid in Bitcoin.
The community was wondered and asked what I think Bitcoin is all about?
Then I answered that Bitcoin is an platform that one can make payments of purchase of an exchange or a means to receive payments of diverses of transactions such as payment after work done like we are as your employees.

I was also ask, why do you chooses Bitcoin means of payments?
Then I also answered that our national economy is not safe enough considering the services exchange of our fiat that is devaluing whereas we earns big at our endivoirs but can't afford tangible service with the exchange of goods and services with the fiat.
Hence, most benefits of my thoughts about earning my pays in Bitcoin is that it is an assets that offers potnetials of increments (profits which the banks (fiat) doesn't offer. So with that, it is other means of making profits.

Besides... This is a rota nature of job where there is no necessity to spend money at any cost since we will be stationed at a spot for a whole two weeks and welfares are under the care of the company.
With that itself, we could make more money if paid in Bitcoin.
After much, the CEO was speechless and my single-handed opinion was able to convince everyone else which got the management to let the floor opened for chorus decision.
Everyone supported my motion because including those who are not knowledgeable about Bitcoin but requester if some basic educational program can be hold for them to attain the knowledge and do with it since interests has been insighted and developed.
The company is actually a constant organisation and has put the opinion to considerations and of approved, then they would offers some clues of Bitcoin classes to help everyone of the goals.

Intentionally, I came up with this option because, that is the only way I could purchase and fulfill my dreams of becoming one of the Bitcoin investors because it is unbearable for me to exchange my huge amount of fiat and get a little pretty amount of ISF to purchase my Bitcoin. I have also insighted that I would let my monthly salary sleep off in my Bitcoin trading journey for a long period of while and while I am on my vacation, I can still forge ahead dealing with my diverses of my earnings til my accumulated Bitcoin value is appreciated to an appreciatable amount that is not going to be certain but all to make it a big profitable.

Here is my offer letter from the company.

And there upstanding is me making my presentation about paying us in Bitcoin

https://i.ibb.co/qJJ1j1t/IMG-20231129-133658-33.jpg

This is not an alternate aurce of investing in Bitcoin, it is demanding that one source of your income comes directly in Bitcoin so you are not burdened with having to convert back and forth from fiat to btc once you receive a payment.
Here on the forum signature campaigns pay in bitcoin and I would not term it an alternate way to invest.

You should also educate the executives about transaction Costa and ways to make transactions cheaper to do through lightening Network and consolidating inputs.

I want to make an investment with just $50 as a beginner i don't know which coin am i to start with but i heard been hearing a lot of people both physically and on social networks saying incredible things about (BTC), that is the best. please i need your assistance ??

Before i will advise you to focus on Bitcoin or buy Bitcoin like you have always heard, I will love to ask you have you prepared yourself for an investment? Do yiu have other funds that can sustain you outside you so called Capital? If yes then, I will continue by saying that are you prepared for the two effect of investment? Because we are approaching the bull run and price is raising and falling everyday, it might fall to a level that your $50 dollar may be gone.
If you can stand both the positive and the negative results of Bitcoin then you should consider buying Bitcoin but it best to invest when you have a regular income that can help you practice the three strategies of buying which is buying the dip, lump sum and DCA.

by

on 09/12/2023, 08:56:02 UTC

Non, tu as juste à installer Ledger Live sur ton ordi portable.

Re: Niger State Government About To Adopt Bitcoin As A Trade Subject

Hey guys!

I was so elated to receive a call from the SSG (Secretary to the State Government) of Niger State almost a week ago after we've all waited anxiously for a response from the state government following the letter we submitted two months ago about "Introducing The Bitcoin Technology Into Our Secondary Schools Curriculum as a Trade Subject".

Although I have traveled out of town and could not make it there physically, I sent my team members to represent me at the meeting with the SSG.

The SSG received my delegates at his office on Tuesday, 5th to give them a brief of the discussions they have with the governor and their resolution.

Prominent in all the discussions they had was the aspect where the SSG mentioned to them that although they are ambitious about the new evolution inbuilt in the digital world, the fintech and the digital currency, they are still xraying the advancement aspect and are desirous of the very positive results the state is interested in especially as it resonates with their agenda.

He then issued the letter dated December , 4th to to my delegates as an official reply to our demand on the adoption of bitcoin technology and request that we remain patient while the government employ the necessary human resources to acqualize this ambitious dream.

My delegates were very happy about this development while I requested that they scan the letter and send to me.

Below is a reciept of the scanned copy of the official response from the SSG.

I am most gracious right now to update the forum on this new development and hope to continue to push this project until there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you to the members of this forum that have kept on following up on my earlier thread for updates, I am glad that I have a response for you now.
You do an extraordinary job and not many of us are capable of doing that at the government level. this way you can more easily provide many new opportunities especially encouraging the younger generation to know all the benefits. However in my opinion this will be a big responsibility because the government also wants control that can provide positive feedback. Hopefully your struggle can produce the expected results.  This action is certainly considered  brave because we usually avoid government matters  when it comes to bitcoin. You know for yourself our ownership does not want to be kissed and taxed. Haha

I use all of them to buy bitcoin because I can use father's credit card for expenses such as food, clothes. I can buy Bitcoin on a satoshi basis every month, but when I see people buying Bitcoin basis on the internet, I feel like I'm too behind myself. Maybe they have a much higher income than me because they have a job. I think I can only invest $100 a month for the next year or two, would that be enough? I am worried about missing big bull market with halving and etf approval.

There is nothing here to worry about, you are not missing out, bitcoin will continue to raise even after halving next year. You are about to get into college and you are already fortunate enough to be having $100 per month to invest in bitcoin, just imagine how much you would have save up to till you graduate. For me you should be Thankful to God about it because there are alot of college student and graduate who are unable get monthly $100 for investing in bitcoin.

For the record, I am not saying it’s approved 100%. So consider this post mostly for entertainment purposes only. Don’t go 100x long on Bitcoin because I am not 100% sure it means it approved.

Basically if you go to

https://www.dtcc.com/products/cs/exchange_traded_funds_plain_new.php

And scroll down to IBTC you will find the Blackrock iShares ETF trust.

So I am guessing since it got an actual ticker…. Perhaps it’s approved.

Along with that false report last week and all this bidding on Coinbase spot it seems someone got this news early.

Moments ago we spiked to $35K on Coinbase and $36K on various perp bitcoin derivatives. We basically went from slightly below $30K to $35K in one day, a $5000 day. This type of day is extremely rare.

Wondering if it has anything to do with this news because that was posted hours ago and the pump happened about 30 mins back.

Following the BurningManGarage thread, and some others events I started having questions on what people see as safe or as dangerous at first glance, so I have one question for both hobby miners and just board lurkers, rate the following setup while also keep in mind that just because things are ugly it doesn't mean bad, and further disclaimer, no, not my work! I just grabbed a picture from a project online, if you're curious google lenses will reveal the source in a second, but I avoid naming it because it might lead to a biased opinion.

So , from 1 being it's already a miracle it hasn't killed someone to 10 being as secure as ASML EUV factory or something like that, rate it!

Definitely interested also in the opinions of complete newbies on this.
