DO NOT BUY THESE ASICS!!! I keep telling you people!
Right now, at 13.4 billion difficulty, a 500 Ghash miner will get you 0.01868 BTC per day! That's it!
And when the difficulty adjusts to 17.1 BILLION in 3 days, it will make 0.01471 BTC per day!
At the current price of $568 per BTC, that is $ 8.35 a day, before power costs and before purchase price.
ROI - NEVER!!!!!
Send your money to ME if you are so determined to piss it away on something!!!!!
At least I will invest and spend your money wisely, instead of letting it go to some ASIC company owner laying on the beach and laughing at all the people who bought an already obsolete miner.
Im tempted, How do i I send my money to you ?

Re: The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, $1850 per unit, Shipping on June 26th
Hi Guys Thanks for this guide.. but I feel I am so completely out of my depth. I have a Avalon3 single module, a Raspberry pi bought straight from Avalon.. theoretically it should work out of the box(ish) but alas no.. I have took a second SD card and installed Raspbian then compiled latest cgminer with icarus and avalon2 enabled.. however the pi still can't see the miner (just to offset hardware issues I have 3 single module miners and can't see any of them, assuming that they all aren't borked) I am pretty sure I'm simply not doing something correctly. I don't really know what to do with the openwrt-brcm2708-sdcard-vfat-ext4.img image... I've installed it onto a SD card and booted pi with it but it spews out a load of stuff then freezes (I thought the pi was borked until I installed Raspbian). so I'm a bit stuck
possibly how I start the cgminer is the problem?
edit: using ls /dev/*USB* to identify the usb being used result /dev/ttyUSB0 although not convinced this is completely right as I have a hub
sudo ./cgminer -S /dev/ttyUSB0 is the best I've got so far... but this time I received the error Avalon2: failed to open on /dev/ttyUSB0
What fixed the problem for me: dont connect a screen to the miner, log in remotely from another PC or browser connected to the Pi via network cable - 192.168.0.100, change IP, connect to internet. The cgminer didnt see my avalons until I was connected to the internet (pi connected to router) Set up pool username & Password Start mining.

Re: [INTEREST] CoiningSolutions.com Bitmain AntMiner S3 List
I just received an Avalon 3 290 module, along with a TP-link controller/interface from eHash.com yesterday. I hooked it up to my laptop with the Ethernet cable and was able to access and configure settings through the web interface. I changed the address to my network, moved it, and can still login and connect to it. What I CAN'T do is talk to the miner, or get it to do anything. I'm using a Thermaltake TR2-600 w power supply. I see 2 green LED's on the interface board, and the fan runs. That's all. The CGMiner API log says firmware 20140423, CGMiner 2077365. Socket connection failed: Connection refused.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, if anything?
Is there anyone from South Africa who can help my friend buy Bitcoins ? If not Bitcoins then may be EgoPay or Perfect Money or OKPay ? My friend is located in Cape Town
He/she can use www.bitx.com, but only if he/she is a south african resident...
