by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/

I am a Filipino and man I smell tax but hopefully the government won't apply tax but a crypto company held a seminar at our school and they said that cryptos are really well accepted here

Re: How bitcoin work as a currency ?
by
LegGekkouga
on 02/03/2018, 12:10:14 UTC
Bitcoin isn't attached to a state or government, so itu doesn't have a central issuing authority or regulatory body, bassically, that means there's no organizational deciding when to make more bitcoins, digiring out how many to produce, kering track of where they are, so how does bitcoin work as a currency ?

Firat of all there is no way that anyone can make bitcoins. And there are only 21 million bitcoins in the world. Bitcoin is a platform in the blockchain. Blockchain is like the OS of your pc and Bitcoin is the application. And just like our money, bitcoin has no physical body its all about the "trust" you put into it. Real world money is just a piece of paper, again its all about the "trust".

Ever heard of Nem? It is an platform used in the blockchain and partially related to BTCitcoin it is still very small compared to big time cryptos but it is ranked #13 in the top xryptos in the world. So do you think it is smart to invest in Nem? Another thing is that Nem is stable it doesn't rely on the Proof-of-work system like Bitcoin.

Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin!
by

on 18/02/2018, 02:14:58 UTC
Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

Anything can happen but I assure you guys that KFC will have the better of this. This is a business.

Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?
by

Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

I think so because if bitcoin falls majority of the big bitcoin users will go to the biggeat altcoin but these alternative cryptos doesn't have bigtime developers so it might not be stable and may shut down quickly.

Alt coin = alternate coin

Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ?
by
LegGekkouga
on 17/02/2018, 14:42:37 UTC
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.

Yes?? We dont really know but I think so. Because bitcoin is really handy especially to those who work behind the scenes.

Re: Why does China hate Bitcoin?
by
LegGekkouga
on 11/02/2018, 00:16:16 UTC
This is pretty much the whole story right here...

Quote
" NIFA official Li Lihui told a technology conference in Shanghai on Friday that a goal of China’s monetary regulation is to ensure that “the source and destination of every piece of money can be tracked.” "

Bitcoin is the mortal enemy of 'tracking'.  Therefore China is going to continue to assault Bitcoin from every angle.  You can be sure of that.

Based on my research China only wants money to be put inside their country but bitcoin requires trading qith other countries.

Re: BitCoin Is Too Complicated for Average People!
by
LegGekkouga
on 10/02/2018, 23:06:02 UTC
Well, I think it is indeed too much complicated and harder to use, you have to have knowledge about how it works on internet. You have to make an account, buy bitcoin from different sites ( which takes 5% to 7% Fees) then transfer to exchanges for trading or to use.

How can a normal people, who usually watch youtube video, use fb or other social media, you expect him/her to know all these things? I seen people give up easily, and think it's too techy.

I believe if Bitcoin sell coins on their official website, with lower fees, such as 1% to 2%, and make  a simple wallet for people to use, more & more people would buy and use it.
What is your opinion on it? discuss..

When you use Bank or Online banking, If you have any problem, you can actually go to branch or call the customer service fix the problem, Bitcoin have no phone number, no branch, no one to contact if anything goes wrong.

The desktop wallet are too complicated to use, it has some weird functionality, such as MEW, every time you login, you have to use key chain, or a file as your private key and password, when you get a get it doesn't not show on your account, you actually have to add custom, which is really confusing sometimes. And i always hear people ger hacked, their balanced is gone. which is really scary after all these security in your wallet? strange!

Bitcoin does not have their own official site, so lots of people visit other junk/spam/hacking site, think it is bitcoin site and can get help.

It's really hard to buy bitcoin in certain country, such as Canada. Yes i know you can buy from coin base, but they do not allow more than $100 bitcoin per week, and we are not allowed to sell. Lots of people other thread offered local bitcoin, but when bitcoin price is $6800, they sell it on $7800, That's $1000 extra plus 5% fees of the amount. Why people have to pay that much money extra to buy bitcoin? why don't they have an official site, where you can buy in current price?

Why most of the exchange does not allow you to buy bitcoin with USD? 99% time you have to transfer money to exchange to do trading or to buy alt coin, which is really a headache. So you tell me, all these problem, why would a normal average people, who doesn't have enough time will invest bitcoin or any other coin? This is rea reason i believe we see the market cap in crypto currency under $200 billion. If it was easy to use, for normal people it would have jump to Trillion dollar.

Man, bitcoin is simple its just all about the person on either he/she is willing to learn ir not.

Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin?
by

on 10/02/2018, 21:47:52 UTC
Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin.Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.

Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?

Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?

Yes of course. We lived our lives without bitcoin before but not all of us can maybe somebody relied on bitcoin too much that they didn't do any other jobs.

More positive crypto news from VersaBank Inc, who announced the intention to make digital storage for cryptocurrencies by June 2018 for worldwide customers: The Canadian Bank Creates a Storage for Cryptocurrency.

I think this is a positive news because this ambank is showing that crypto can be reliable and can be used because unlike other people say bitcoin is NOT a scam.
