Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 17/10/2018, 22:22:48 UTC
Even if they have processor and memory resources, using mobile phones for mining makes no sense, because it would make the phone virtually useless and would destroy the hardware and the battery.

Yes, I agre: It makes no sense to use mobile phones for mining, because even if they apparently have good resources, mining eats them all and makes the phone practically unusable.
And anyway the heat would destroy the phone itself
It's just a bullshit.

Re: Who controls the market?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 17/10/2018, 22:19:39 UTC
The crypto market is still very small, so it's inevitable that big players still have a lot of control.
In forex this does not happen, and the oscillations are always minimal.
However, it becomes increasingly difficult, so it seems to me that the market has been more stable in recent times.

Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 17/10/2018, 22:16:51 UTC
Hackers are not at all clever than exchanges, but they are certainly smarter than most crypto owners.
So, if you do not take a minimum of precautions, then do not complain if you find yourself with your account empty ...

Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 17/10/2018, 22:11:58 UTC
A cryptocurrecy issued by a government is stupid by definition: the crypto are decentralized, if they are controlled by a government, then they are usual fiat money in electronic format.
We hope people understand it ...

Re: Expert: Banks are Enthusiastic Towards Crypto, Waiting for Regulators to Invest
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 10/10/2018, 19:52:32 UTC
The banks want to make money, so they do not want to escape a field as promising as that of the crypto.
But above all they are afraid of losing their power, so it is obvious that they are studying the sector.

Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility
by
Leocrypto da Vinci

All that has to do with unsafe sectors is by definition volatile, especially as the big speculators make unpredictable maneuvers.
However, the bitcoin has been strangely stable for over a month, and this worries me: what direction will the next explosion be?

Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked??
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 10/10/2018, 19:42:39 UTC
Serious wallets have such efficient protection systems that it is humanly impossible to hack them.
But it is certainly possible to hack YOUR computer if you do not use the appropriate precautionary measures.

Re: Institutional Investors Are Using Back Door for Crypto Buys
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 10/10/2018, 19:39:30 UTC
Institutional investors have so many purchase options that they do not need to use backdoors.
This seems to me one of the many fake news that would claim to influence the market

Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear...
by

Bitcoin may disappear, and in its place a new coin will be born, with more advantages (I would have bet on Ethereum, but in recent times it is not good), but surely the crypts will not disappear.
So, let's hold on, and look for the best options.

Re: Today is 10/10/18, the rise of the Phoenix according to The Economist
by
Leocrypto da Vinci

Well, the goal - or, better, the utopia - of a single currency has existed since the days of the ancient empires: in fact, the theoretical goal of every empire was the end of the wars and the gathering of all the men in only one nation.
Needless to say, it has NEVER worked ...

Re: The basis of being a poor- how little or how big?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 03/10/2018, 21:03:42 UTC
Poverty is much more a state of mind than a question of bank account.
In the West, many who feel "poor" would be considered very rich in third world countries.
So, it's all very relative.

Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ??
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 03/10/2018, 21:01:32 UTC
Gold is not an investment: there are certainly more profitable things.
But "real" gold, I mean bullion and not certificates, is still the most solid and lasting thing that humanity has ever produced.
So, it's always better to keep somewhere a little bit of gold. Just in case...

Re: Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 03/10/2018, 20:57:26 UTC
The school is always blatantly back in accepting new technologies, especially since bitcoin still has many controversial aspects, and few risk talking about it.
But sooner or later, it will happen, it is inevitable

Re: How is the crypto industry going to look like in 5–10 years?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 03/10/2018, 20:55:00 UTC
With the crypto we can not foresee what happens in a week (or even in an hour ...), how can we pretend to know what will happen in ten years?
Simply, if the crypto are finally accepted on a large scale, only a small number will remain.
Which ones, nobody knows ...

Re: I'm very disappointed with myself.
by
Leocrypto da Vinci

It is inevitable not to be happy when the investments turn out to be wrong. And losing money is never pleasant.
But scolding is useless: the only useful thing is to evaluate the current situation and try to make money. That's all.

Re: Many projects are dead?
by
Leocrypto da Vinci
on 03/10/2018, 20:46:33 UTC
Let's be clear: most of the projects are born as scams, with the sole purpose of raising funds and then being left to die.
As in all new things, this is inevitable.
But there are valid projects, and we must not allow ourselves to be taken by general despair.

by

Honestly, I do not think so.
Most of the altcoins are permanently dead, others are in agony.
But there is hope for clarity, and those - few - really valid return to acceptable values

by
Leocrypto da Vinci

On this forum, it's a nonsense question: bitcoin was born to free us from the slavery of banks and governments, so it's clear that if banks could disappear we would all be happier.

If I was sure, of course I would buy Ripple.

Perhaps, in Las Vegas there is a greater chance of winning something ...
