Re: Great way to make Bitcoin!
by

Currently, the best way to earn bitcoins is through cloud mining

Doesn't require expensive hardware
Can be done with mobiles and desktops
Guaranteed returns
Can use multiple accounts
Unlike bitcoin faucets, it doesn't require hourly rolls and captcha verification
Requires less electricity compared to hardware mining
I personally like aurora mining ltd

They provide 100mHs power as a Signup bonus , and more power can be bought for a reasonable price

Details of returns and bitcoins mined are displayed always

Cloud mining in a better way

Use this link to to Signup, open an account and get free power

It's advisable to buy more power of around 500rs for a decent return

Happy mining

I believe people should make their choices based on their research. So we should not make assumptions about which coin is better, but instead invest some time till we are confident with each coin and draw our own conclusions. Money invested well is reflected only by time spent in the same manner.

Re: Can ethereum be beat Bitcoin
by
Lester Cole
on 12/02/2018, 12:14:34 UTC
Never. We need to understand that while Bitcoin is a currency, a means of payment, Ethereum is a platform for launching Decentralized applications.

Nature: Consider comparing Bitcoin to Gold and Ethereum to Iron Ore. Gold is a store of value and Iron Ore is the building blocks of so many things we use in daily life.
Supply: Bitcoin is deflationary whereas Ether is inflationary. There will only be 16mil BTC. The current supply of Ether is close 97mil. Using the basic principal of Demand and Supply, a commodity that is scarce will have more value - Bitcoin.
While one is a store of value/currency, the other can be looked at like a stock.

So, no, Ethereum can not overtake Bitcoin in terms of price.

Re: Will bitcoin replace gold?

old is not the standard store of value, the U.S. dollar and the Euro are. Gold is a commodity whose price moves up and down, seemingly at random, like other commodities. It’s value is quoted in dollars or Euros.

Bitcoin is very unlikely to replace any of the above. It has become another commodity. Someday a virtual currency may supersede the others. It would have to be by international agreement between the major nations, and regulated by some central bank or similar institution. If this ever happens it won’t be within the next 50 years.

Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash.
by
Lester Cole
on 12/02/2018, 11:59:19 UTC
I’m not really sure Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is better than Bitcoin. Bcash is on a mission to become a payment processing blockchain controlled by a few individuals while Bitcoin core is aimed to be a decentralized, public blockchain for all to use.

With that said, I think Bcash = zero patience and a centralized takeover attempt by the small group of people. Instead of organically coming together as a community and building a functioning blockchain using other technologies like lightning networks and cross-chain atomic swaps, Bcash is deciding to internalize all progress.

This is not what Bitcoin is meant to be…there are a ton of payment processing blockchains, but what makes Bitcoin different is it’s chain length and community support. In time, Bitcoin core will become an efficient transfer of value, but it has some time to go as other technologies catch up.

Re: Why China banned bitcoin?
by
Lester Cole
on 12/02/2018, 11:54:35 UTC
To clarify some issues, what China did is to ban banks to deal with bitcoin and/or other cryptocurrencies; they also have some limitations when they want to pull out some money (USD 10,000).

FYI, the chinese have most of the mining market because of the advantages the country offer to the people, for example free electricity; A big cost in mining services is electricity and with that you cover your cost.

Re: Bitcoin can be hacked?
by
Lester Cole
on 12/02/2018, 11:47:21 UTC
Yes, but it is very unlikely, difficult and expensive - it depends also on type of the network:

permisionless (public blockchain) - it is extremely hard, it requires to take control over most of nodes (almost impossible), but some big countries may be able to do it… - question of cost effectiveness Wink
permissioned (private or consortium blockchain) - it depends on the security of the private/consortium network, it is easier because there is much less nodes to hack and they are easier to track

Re: What wallets do you use?

Blockchain.info
Blockchain.info was one of the first web wallets to capture a significant share of the market. With the emergence of Coinbase, however, Blockchain has been dwindling over time. Either way, it’s fair to say that Blockchain provides a straightforward service that can be used reliably enough for users of different experience levels.

Is the US dollar a bubble? No!
The US dollar is a currency!
Is the Euro a bubble? No!
The Euro is a currency!
Is the Japanese Yen a bubble?
No! The Yen a currency!
So what is Bitcoin? It’s a digital currency and it has an exchange rate price vs all other currencies!

This is NOT called a bubble, it’s called DEVALUATION!

Always get the private keys from your wallet, and keep them in a safe place. Everything is on the blockchain, so you can import the private keys to another wallet, online or on PC, and there you can have your bitcoins. Only if a hacker manages to get the private keys from the wallet provider, then your Bitcoin is gone!

Re: Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin Speculation
by
Lester Cole
on 12/02/2018, 10:44:15 UTC
I expect that Amazon will not until there are federally regulated options and there is enough consumer demand.

There are already complaints from overseas customers about using normal foreign exchange since the banks take about 3% of the proceeds and when exchange rates change, customers may find that it costs them more to pay for the purchase than they thought when they made the purchase.

I really see nothing in this for Amazon.

I expect that an entirely new generation of digital currencies will be developed before cryptocurrencies gets accepted. The volitility and prevasive problems related to theft, use by criminal organization for money laundering and extortion is going to keep any sensible legitimate business very clear from any such interactions using this currency.

Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin?
by
Lester Cole
on 12/02/2018, 10:36:35 UTC
O God. I am not even Techie. For long time I was unaware about all this. But then I came to know about Blockchain and then Bitcoin.

So The Question is what I am thinking about Future of Bitcoins. I want to make it little bit Wide. Let talk about Crypto Currency.

My view is That All due to political interference, Central Bank's are now weak and the way Indian Prime Minister Took decision about Demonetisation, it affects Money and Faith on RBI. That's why People now searching such options. Bitcoin is one out of it.

Bitcoin is currency. But the way people are INVESTING in it, making it bubble and if I am not wrong, many people are talking about it. Someday it will burst. I am sure that market mechanism will help us to search the real price of it.

As currency, the future is Bright. As Asset there is no future as it is not asset at all. Recently I saw tweet from Ashwath Damodaran. He mentioned that Gold is Currency. Why people will buy Gold? Because if there is no hope and faith on govt then there is no faith on Currency. When there is Someone named Donald Trump is sitting in White House and there is Narendra Modi, who you can't say when will manipulate Indian Currency. People want to buy gold. So for new Generation, Bitcoin is that Gold. Till then There is uncertainty future of Bitcoin is bright

Re: Ways to promote Bitcoin

-BITCOIN MINING-
If you want to put together the largest possible amount of Bitcoin, mining is among your best options. Mining refers to the use of computer hardware to automatically perform a set of mathematical operations, which in turn creates new Bitcoin. The way Bitcoin is set up, only 21 million can ever be produced. At the time of writing this article, about 16.7 million of these Bitcoins have been successfully mined, leaving more than four million on the table for Bitcoin miners.
-BITCOIN FAUCETS-
Bitcoin faucets are a bit like micro-tasks in the sense that they pay very small amounts of Bitcoin in exchange for a small amount of your time – often around 1 Satoshi, which is a hundredth of a millionth BTC. In the case of faucets, though, Bitcoin is usually available to be claimed by users at a set interval, such as every five minutes.

The fact that you are asking people "Is Bitcoin over?" clearly indicates that you don't understand Bitcoin and are in it most likely for a quick buck.

So, you would have already made some profit with Bitcoin. You can sell your coins Smiley
everyone is in it for a quick buck, be honest so are you

Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money?
by
Lester Cole
on 11/02/2018, 10:57:34 UTC
Nobody knows. There are real question marks around whether a blockchain can ever scale to serve billions while remaining decentralised. But the competition Bitcoin brings to the financial world will drive up standards, essentially bringing much of the benefit of BTC to non-Bitcoin currencies.

Governments seeking to cover their mistakes with devaluations have a new reality to deal with.

Re: Crypto going to DEAD
by

Right now bitcoin is like gold. Gold doesnot have practical value, it cannot be used to make tools and stuff but has value because everyone emotionaly agree to value it. Even later it will be values as the first ever cryptocurrency. Like antique coin collection
Can't agree more! And so far BTC is the bridge between the cryptocurrency world and actual cash. Until another crypto does that, I don't see anything taking over BTC soon!
