What if bitcoin gains much more value than you anticipate? So what happens when 1 satoshi reaches the price of 1 dollar?
What kind of arrangement is made if payment is requested as Cent? Can the bitcoin core be modified?
All bitcoin holder surely will become rich instantly, and perhaps none of the non-bitcoin users will get curious about it instantly in the near future. But in my assessment that won't be happen.
If that's will be happen, the Bitcoiner surely have many homes, cars and apartments.
But I agree with you that, it's won't be happen. In my opinion the reasonable price is $10000 /BTC.

I think so too.
The price of bitcoin will reach a certain balance in the future. I think the price will be $ 10,000 in 5 years.
There is a big difference between the initial price of Bitcoin and the current price.
It is not possible for a satoshi to be $ 1. But it makes sense for a BTC to be $ 10,000.

Well I think that it is really hard to get the Bitcoin price that high,
I mean if that ever happens 1 Bitcoin would be worth $100,000,000 it seems pretty impossible,
But I also want it to happen.

It does not make any sense to me that such a thing happens. For example, when a bitcoin is $ 10,000 many people will sell their btcs. Nobody expects to be $ 100,000,000. Already the price increase will be small in time. Nobody keeps the bitcoins in his hand for so long.

That is mean bitcoin is too expensive for trading bitcoin to fiat currency,
so if 1 SAT is $1 the traders must use altcoins for trading to fiat currency.
The strong candidate replace trading digital coins to fiat currency is ETH,
only ETH that has big marketcap after bitcoin. https://coinmarketcap.com

If it is a problem to make changes in the coding section, they can solve with altcoins as you said.

There are two good answers on another subject similar to this one.

Currently you are not able to divide it beyond as satoshi is the smallest introduced unit. However, if it ever becomes needed, additional units could be added that are smaller than a single satoshi (e.g. 1 000 000 Laudas = 1 Satoshi). I don't think that it will come to that though.

As it is using an unsigned 64 bit integer to store the number of Satoshi's any extension to this would not at all be trivial (it would require quite a lot of code to be reworked and a huge amount of testing) so I can't see any such thing happening for many, many years (if ever).

Understand that it affects the entire system in regards to the txs (memory, protocol and storage). Perhaps people might recall the amount of work that was done to solve the Y2K problem?

(am guessing most here are too young to know about that - but it resulted in huge numbers of retired COBOL programmers coming out of retirement to earn huge amounts for a few years)

Those that say "Bitcoin's 8 decimal places can easily be extended" do not understand software engineering.

Thanks to bitcoin mining, the capacity of the devices is increasing day by day. Mining has helped to increase the capacity of hardware devices.

Could the same apply to HDD mining?
Can they store more data in smaller sizes?
What do you mean by HDD mining. Are you talking about mining Burst and Storj's .Scientist are knocking their brains out to increase the storage capacity and it does not necessarily mean that HDD mining could make any significant changes to the storage development going on and the next expected change in storage space will be the introduction of Heat assisted magnetic recording which is expected in a couple of years which would change everything as we could see 50 TB HDDs and so on.

Yes, I mean Burst and Storj as HDD mining.
If there is money in a business, everything changes. For example, I think that when BURST value is equal to ETH, it will get out a lot of creative ideas.

There's no such thing as hard drive mining with bitcoin.

BURST and STORJ coins are produced with HDD mining. These coins are traded on exchange sites.
In fact, this topic was discussed a bit. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1769416.msg

What kind of arrangement is made if payment is requested as Cent? Can the bitcoin core be modified?

what you are asking has been asked and discussed a thousand times, next time try searching first.
this scenario is not going to happen for many years, if it happens at all.
and in case something like that happened the code can be modified to have units smaller than satoshi. and with a fork the problem can be solved.
bitcoin core is a wallet, what needs to change in this hypothetical scenario is the bitcoin protocol.

That's what I wanted to learn. So this kind of update does not affect the bitcoin's working system, right?
I am new to bitcoin and mind other questions are coming.

I guess, what will happen is really awesome, because 1 satoshi is 1 dollar oh come on, it is the thing that we are always dreaming to happen, and making something like this is really unforgettable. And I'm sure that many people will turn on doing bitcoin because it is an instant money, though it is going to take some time before it came true, many consequences bitcoin must experience first before reaching something like this, and for this thing to happen in the future, we must support bitcoin no matter what.

In general, everyone looks at the monies. Yes, if 1 satoshi is 1 dollar we are all rich.
But what I want to know is the technical part of the thing. Because such a situation will bring some problems with it.

If this is something I am curious about, can bitcoin core software be modified?
Because there are less money than 1 dollar. For example, when a product costs 50 cents, how will a person buy it?
Perhaps we need smaller units than 1 satoshi?

Here's some that I've heard of (before you start, do some research about each since some tend to ban or block your account easily):

1. coinurl - https://coinurl.com/
2. linkshrink - https://linkshrink.net/
3. binbucks - http://www.binbucks.com/
4. adfocus - http://adfoc.us/

Take note: If you're going to post those links here, it's against forum rules:
5. No link shortners that requires users to view an ad.

Thanks for the connections. I do not consider sharing shortening links in the forum. I think sharing on social media.

I studied the sites quickly. I guess there is no content restriction. Do these companies pay within the links of adult and pornographic content sites?

Re: What should I look for when choosing Altcoin?

There are many altcoins in poloniex.com and yobit.net. Especially ZEC, DASH and ETH have good value.
How can we know the altcoins that are at low levels and that are going to rise in the future? Does this have a formula?

What are you paying attention to when investing in any altcoin?
My strategy in buying altcoins nowadays is get them by their Initial Coin Offering (ICO) because their price is very low and have a potential to grow on market but must be careful in investing ICO.
But I keep supporting and trading ETH,DASH and Stratis.

What exactly is ICO? Is it possible to win a bitcoin with ICOs?
What's the difference from signature campaigns? How can I access the current ICO advertisements?

Re: Learning a new language

If you speak English what other language do you want to learn and why, may I ask.

English is a widely spoken language in the world.
But chinese is used too much in language like spanish.
I want to learn chinese. I want to know about Chinese culture and history.

Chinese is good to learn for business, you can even get good salary job with it. It is hard to learn language like chinese, especially if you start from scratch. I recommend official schools, and it will take probably years until you master it.

Yes, learning Chinese is a bit more difficult than in other languages. Even people in different parts of China may not understand each other.
The alphabet they use is very different. Someone who is accustomed to Latin letters may find it difficult to learn Chinese letters.

But china is a very old civilization. I want to get to know this civilization more closely.

Yes you are right about chinese language and its difficult than other languages. And i dont want to speak about difference of parts of China and not understanding. I had work with Chinese people and all i learned is to say Hello Cheesy . China have realy large history, but I am more interested in Japan. I think that Japan is more beautiful than China, but that is me Cheesy .

Japan has developed especially after the nagasaki incident. Japanese culture attracts me. In general, I am curious about far east countries. You all have an old history.

There are so many countries to visit and see in the world. Every country has its own history. I guess life is not enough to see it all Smiley

What make east Asia countries fascination is the thing that they was isolated from Europe for long time. History of those countries is so rich and so big that people spend quite some time learning it. But i my self is more interested in Japan, more than i China. China have richer history, but still i love Japan more Cheesy .

Yes, Asian and Middle Eastern countries are very rich in cultural and historical aspects. It is possible to see the traces of different religions and races in these geographical regions. In fact, I am interested in cultural structures all the countries in the world. All of they have a way of life that is unique to self. When examined in terms of religion and ethnicity, they all have a distinct wealth.
