You don't have to download the blockchain on your android device. Synchronizing your android client with the Lightcoin blockchain is another step that is being tested.

We are making efforts on releasing the Android wallet with new features. Our main goal is to develop mobile mining.
Other functions and features plans for Lightcoin are in the OP but we might remove or add new features according to public demand.

There are botnets out there which use the different mining executables as payload to mine coins for the botnet's owner/renter on other people's computers...that's why those executables are flagged by the virus scanners.
But if you don't trust that miner you have the option to download the official source code https://github.com/ig0tik3d/xcoin-cpuminer, and build the executables yourself.

No, it is not a trojan. It is a known false positive that miners have and chrome always blocks those. Check with virustotal and you can use IE to download it.

You dont have to type the whole address. You can copy an address to the clipboard and paste on the Android wallet but we still need to develop an address book. The QR code scanner we will use a app but there is some work to do and this will be explained when the beta is released.


The android wallet beta version eta is 20-25 days. I will post updated status of the wallet as we develop more features and functions.
First we are working on the Android wallet, then we focus on the IOS.

The wallet is still on alpha phase testing. In this phase is where I want you to give me your opinions and feedback to make the best wallet.
