Re: As a memecoin trader, how do you find early entry ?
by
Lilybasil
on 29/04/2025, 05:00:22 UTC
GM crypto fam, with the recent bullish trend in the market, i’ve seen traders profiting from Bitcoin futures which is not advisable in my opinion.

Honestly, i find it amazing that memecoins(not all) have been performing exceptionally well. I remember scouting exchanges for early buys before deciding to buy DARK, MUTUMBO and some others on Bitget Onchain based on their ratings few weeks ago. I literally bought them with the expectation of little ROI but their performance was suprising.

But i was pained when i saw those who bought TRENCHER and HOUSE earlier on the Onchain made over 1000%. I got to know about them as they trended through the weekend. I’ve been thinking if anyone made from these two, the most part for me was that i saw them earlier on but overlooked but those who bought them early ate good. I’ve realized early entry is important to make good profit from memecoin trading. Did anyone else aped for these coins?
You are not wrong here, you are actually right, early entry is very vital if you want to be profitable in the meme coin market, but take note that late entry will get you burnt, or buying the wrong asset will get you burnt, so what do you call something like this?
In my own opinion, is more of gambling than investing because even though you enter very early, if it's the wrong asset you will still get burnt, if am wrong please correct me, this is the real fact about meme coin, that's why they are called shit coin, because they live on hypes and speculations, unlike Bitcoin that is a worthy asset that appreciate in value overtime regardless of speculation or news.

Am not a big fan of meme coin, because it's too risk, a bigger majority of them are scam coin, but if you are hell bent on taking risk in it, I would advice that you invest with an amount you are willing to lose, so that if things doesn't goes as planned, you wouldn't be bothered, because it has no significant impact on your finances or your ability to finance your daily expenses.

You've spoken like someone with a lot of experience with volatile memecoins. My strategy has been to get in early and sell some part 2hrs later, then leave a moonbag in case the token does really well and so far it's been working.

Like op said, I've also been following Bitgetonchain new listings and trust me, for now, that's your best shot at catching the next 50x gem.

Re: Do I get "whale" status if I have exclusive access to a token's group?
by
Lilybasil
on 09/04/2025, 10:26:58 UTC
what kind of community are you talking here? if it's just a community where BGB holders talk, I think they have telegram group or discord for that where you don't even need to own BGB to enter.

if you're talking about perks, the perk of holding these coins are the launchpools, these exchange usually demand certain portion of the airdrop for them as a requirement to get listed in their platform and distribute it to their coin holders.
but you also need to subscribe to their launchpool otherwise it won't count, other perks generally are just fee discount, etc.

basically like as you said, you're getting free tokens and discounted fee (maybe with tiered system) and that's it.

You're right. But that's the general group from what I understand.. for bgb holders they've got a special community group where perks like giveaways, merchs, vip tickets to events are some of the benefits. Here's the current giveaway ongoing for the community members. https://x.com/bitgetglobal/status/1907757472712110382?t=Vxl7stJvAGBoGTu2R71u5Q&s=19 cos they're celebrating 20k users..

Do you enjoy participating in exchange events? If yes, feel free to recommend some; if not, please share your reasons.
I participated in so many of such events especially in those of Bingx but to be honest, those events aren't for traders who trade $100 or $1000 or even $4000. Those give good returns to those traders who trade at least $10k, $50k, $100k, or even higher amounts.

I know that feeling, but if it's this one Op is talking about them I think it's different. Go through this and see for yourself. https://www.bitgetapp.com/events/activities/687d2cc1caaa522c9e73381e3bbe6021?color=black tasks are simple but rewarding.

Re: Tap2Earn helped me from bearish market

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. As I speak, my portfolio is down by 50% and ironically, this happened at a time when I needed funds for something urgent. Thankfully, I took advice from someone on this forum about participating in airdrops, which became my saving grace this week.

I had participated in a play-to-earn airdrop for $OIK, a Web3-based space opera MMORPG, a few weeks ago. Initially, I didn't put much effort into it, as previous experiences with $CATS, $MAJOR, and $DOGS had left me disappointed. However, it surprised me by announcing its listing on X. Although I'm unsure of the listing price, I've deposited my tokens on an exchange and plan to participate in the poolx for any additional airdrops.

My advice to you all is that airdrops are still an active and viable opportunity. Don't underestimate their potential!

Btc is up rn so check your portfolio. For airdrops you sound excited but I participated in all the airdrop you've mentioned and didn't make something tangible from them.. maybe I wasn't serious with it haha. What's the current price trend on OIK? saw this OIK community airdrop for It. Probably I'll give it a try later, gamefi projects aren't convincing these days. Why are you convinced about this one?.

Hodling

Ermm what's your prediction since you're an holder. If you're an ambassador or you know someone, they can leverage this airdrop offer Pi ambassador programme to increase their PI hold. T & C applies though ..
To that fact, the Pi charts indicate that major liquidity barriers have been broken; and now Pi is ready for an uptrend soon enough.
Pi will be bullish soon and I just secured a way to gather up liquidity for Pi;  came across an Event where  you buy to earn, deposit to earn PI via participation.
What’s your price prediction for PI before the end of 2025?

I don’t have an actual prediction for what the price of pi to be but the project is giving me a bullish vibe as the team behind it have shown a lot of potential for a good future for the project. By the end of 2025 when the bull run becomes intense, I’m already seeing that the price of pi will double its present all time high that it has reached now. Pi network is a big project that hit the crypto industry and listed when many people thought they will never get to list, I am very bullish on it and when we have a binance listing of it soon, it’ll be a big one for this project.

Most CT have same sentiment. Bullish!. If the community can maintain the status quo then I think we'd see double figures on PI

Re: Are FTX creditors getting paid?
by

on 21/02/2025, 05:13:54 UTC
You might be wondering about the recent developments regarding FTX. There's some good news! FTX will pay out $16 billion to affected users. Recently, over 162,000 FTX users were credited, totaling more than $800 million.

The best part is that many exchanges are starting to organize events to reward these users. However, to participate in these events, users must provide proof that they have been credited by FTX. This requirement helps ensure that only legitimate users receive rewards from the pools.

While these payments are currently being processed, the market has not shown significant movement yet. However, I believe that the market will react positively to this news soon.

What are your thoughts on this development?

Is this why the crypto market saw a relief yesterday and price remained decent today.. you talked about some exchanges having some sort of events and that's true. Digged this up on Twitter. https://x.com/bitgetglobal/status/1890354804867694929?t=BY05waT_VXbt7sdFRviDgg&s=19. Know anyone that's a beneficiary to this generosity already?.

Re: Can Pre-Market Trading Bring Back the 'Tap to Earn' Excitement?
by
Lilybasil
on 27/01/2025, 22:49:40 UTC
Hello everyone, I miss the good old Telegram 'tap to earn' and 'play to earn' days when people enjoyed exploring new projects, whether it was a DApp, gaming, memecoin, or AI project. As long as it was on Telegram and offered a chance to earn points or amounts convertible to real coins, people were all in.

I'm not sure what killed the hype, but in my opinion, we should find ways to revive that excitement. My recent winning strategy has been investing in new projects through pre-market trading. Although it's a high-risk, high-reward approach, I've had success with it six times out of eight, earning profits on $CATI, $EIGEN, and $GRASS.

I always advise people to 'do your own research' (DYOR). I'm currently participating in the $ANLOG pre-market and have reviewed the whitepaper. I'm confident that I'll come out on top in the market. Do you think this can be the best solution for us traders?

.these days tbh TAP to earn projects are not killing it anymore. Users are focused on quality projects with utilities. Ai, defi, trade, socialfi and higher on the radar than tap to earn.. Analog isn't a tap to earn project, been following it too. They're promising seamless interoperability. They're prepping for listing too. you can check it out. https://x.com/OneAnalog/status/1881264265618948361?t=9jCiZq5e-orrF7KtVy0RHg&s=19

Re: The Fate of Nfts this year.
by

on 18/01/2025, 06:05:15 UTC
TGIF! Despite the market being bearish, lets have a quick discuss about Nfts. Back in 2021, NFTs were all the rage, especially with projects like Bored Ape, but the hype definitely cooled off over time. Lately, though, it feels like the momentum might be picking up again.

Take Fuel, for example—they’re rewarding users just for holding NFTs. Then you’ve got Xion, which added NFT tasks as part of their Season 2 airdrop strategy. I’ve also been keeping an eye on projects like Arcane and Ice. Plus, Clay on Cardano has been ramping up for their launch with zero deposit events on exchanges etc, and Magic Eden just rolled out their token, ME.

Call it a hunch, but I think we might see a resurgence of NFT buzz and FOMO soon. What do you think? Feels like the pieces are falling into place.

This is my list :
1. Cosmos : Celestine sloth, Bad Kids, Mad Scientist

2. Modular (forma chain ) : Modular Cards  , Mammoth

3. Fuel :Fuel pumps , Executors

4. Eclipse : Validator , ASC

5. Initia : Raccoons ,Tuzi

6. Berachain : Beras nft collections

You should add Xion to the list. Are you performing the season 2 tasks?. Looks dicey but can be rewarding too..

Which nfts can you recommend for a retail trader .
Man, I have no recommendation for you. I've just given an example of what I've seen but you still DYOR regarding the NFTs because I am done with them and won't probably going to invest any penny with them anymore.

Market isn't looking good at the moment. But like mentioned earlier, im also looking at clay.  clay it's a 10k collection & it's looking good ahead of TGE
Hmm, I've heard of it and probably once got into a trend. But as of now, I'm not sure if I'll be vesting money on it. And if it gets back on the trend, there will be a lot of work needed for it to make some buzz again. You know, this market once a project became a trend and puts itself on a buzz show, that's when people chases it and FOMOs coming in for it.

Yeah. Their token went live couple days ago and since I have some eth in my wallet, I'll probably just put it to good use, stake it and earn clay. ClaytonPoolx. No risk involved..

I think you're right that there's a resurgence with the NFT buzz and the FOMO is real there. Like what I've seen with the pudgy penguin, there is some incentive, I don't know but there's a huge volume on it recently and the floor price is crazy.

https://i.postimg.cc/kG9GLMX2/pgnuin.png

Total volume: 448,990 ETH x $3,288 = $1,476,279,120
Floor price: 24.34 ETH x  $3,288 = $80,029.92

Damn. 24eth as floor price. That's some figures ahaha.
I was surprised too with that because it's on hype and there are others that I've seen as well that are pumping like crazy.

Bybit Temporarily Halts India Operations: What Does This Mean?
by
Lilybasil
on 12/01/2025, 19:29:25 UTC

It came as surprising news to me that, starting January 12, Bybit has decided to suspend all of its services for users in India, citing regulatory compliance issues. In their words " Due to recent developments from Indian regulators and in continuation of previously implemented restrictions. Indian users will temporarily be unable to open new trades or access any products on the Bybit platform.”"

 https://cointelegraph.com/news/bybit-suspends-crypto-trading-india)

While this situation unfolds, I’d suggest finding a reliable and compliant exchange with good Proof of Reserves (PoR) and protection funds that cater to users' needs. How’s it going with WazirX though?

By the way, I’m concerned about this development. Do you think this suspension could be prolonged? I hope you have a suitable backup plan so you can continue your trading experience smoothly.

by
Lilybasil
on 06/01/2025, 19:17:55 UTC
This might be too early to ask, but I am sure throughout 2024, a lot of altcoins with continued growth will enter 2025. I'm not sure which is the current altcoin that is chosen by same holders..

Tho I hold quite a lot of tokens, most of my holdings in DOGE, SUI, BNB, BGB... and guess what those tokens didn't disappoint me, as DOGE was driven by the hype and Elon's impression gave it a good boost, SUI just broke its ATH, on other hand BNB & BGB broke its ATH last year.. It's good how each token operates in their diff way, tho it can be fail in some ways for alts, which we have to DYOR them and choose good alts..

So yeah, these picks have blessed me with profits but beyond that they’ve shown how patience and strategy in holding the right alts can really pay off. I am sure you guys also feel the same way.. Hopefully this year will be packed with profits and good strategies to earn more profits, rewards and etc.

Let me hear your picks guys and why you decided to put investment on it?

I' move with the trend at the moment man. RN the trend is in SUI and AI agents tokens like snail, ai16z, cerebro etc.. but I've had bgb in my pf for a while now, since you do too you should consider this avenue to increase your holdings.an avenue to increase your bgb hold
Long terms I'll suggest you look into
Ai Agents
Memes
Exchange tokens
Sui and trx ecosystem
Perpetual dex like Hyper liquid

Re: What should a trader’s investment portfolio look like ?
by
Lilybasil
on 02/01/2025, 19:06:32 UTC

The crypto market full of opportunities and profits, is becoming stronger and fuller, people get onboarded every single day. Among this people are those that are interested in profits only, they are not ready for the risk involved while some are fully aware and ready to tackle it by taking calculated risks. These are the people that strive to become a better trader everyday, they seek advice from experienced traders and learn from their past trading mistakes.

Investment planning is another advice they seek, they would want to make wise investments decisions, how they should diversify their investments, how much they should allocate to each portfolio. As an experienced crypto trader, what advice would you give them? What is the best way to go about investments ?

Yes the crypto market is filled with opportunities, but you need to know your risk tolerance to be able to achieve something and don't be greedy. You can start with initiatives that are almost risk free like this>>Bg auto invest programme before going for more rewarding methods like trading(have knowledge first.
Trading is very risky and not for people who are planning for their retirement, because whatever strategy a trader comes up with, he will run at loss in the long run. This is because a little mistake can make you lose all the profits that you have made for long in one trade. An investor is that person who is buying bitcoin regularly weekly or monthly to grow his bitcoin stash and hodli for long. Investing is more easier than trading with low risk.

Buddy, trading needs discipline and intense patience. Without that, you cant be a successful trader. Op can also look about staking, launchpools etc.

Knowing about circles works, pair that with important skill like the ability to spot support and resistance without stress and you'll be able to predict price trend with a good percentage of success.. if you're good with cycles, why not consider this. Given my limited understanding of DeSci projects, I'd appreciate any advice on whether they're solid projects worth exploring or investing in.

I guess I'm missing this concept; they do have a market for this already

All I know right now are DeFi and DePin I'm fully exploring Depin because of the popularity of Grass when they distribute their token, It sure is create a big buzz, Like you, I will explore this new market, this bull trend created a lot fo new concepts that's worth exploring for profit.

More like DESCI mission is to fund scientific innovation using blockchain.. you can read more about it here. A good writeup explaining these. https://www.bitget.com/news/detail/12560604454432

by

Now that the market has turned red, what are you doing to keep the profit coming in?

Many will talk about taking a break, and others will speak about airdrops and staking. From my observation, only a few usually take advantage of exchange events like Launchpool and PoolX.

Yes, staking and airdrops are good ways to keep the profit coming in, but in the bear market, we will see very small airdrops being distributed, so what will be the solution?

I am not promoting exchange events, but if you have some spare USDT, you can try out their events, like TOMA PoolX after DYOR.

You can also comment on your opinion and suggestions.

Given the price on TOMA during launch, staking is actually the only option to boost your portfolio for holders and the apr on POOLX is juicy so it's attractive. What do you think the price of toma would be Few months from now?

Re: Maximizing Gains with USDT Savings
by
Lilybasil
on 22/12/2024, 16:45:12 UTC
If you’ve been exploring ways to grow your crypto portfolio, i just found a savings plan with competitive APRs that is worth considering. It's offering a 25% APR on USDT for a short-term commitment and has been generating buzz.

What’s appealing about it? First, it’s just a 7-day lock-in, so your funds aren’t tied up for too long. Secondly, the structure allows for continued returns even after maturity, making it practical for those who want steady growth.

Have you tried similar savings programs before? How do you balance the high yields with maintaining liquidity in your portfolio? Let’s discuss!

Seems you don't understand the marketing strategy of high APR with stablecoins. I hope you know that 25% APR will be multiply by 7/365multiply by your capital that you staked. If you stake $100, that's like 25%[25/100]x$100x7/365= $0.47945205479452. Now ask yourself, do you think stakimg your $100 usdt is worth having $0.4795 for a week? Don't you know that with this bull run, a properly manage $100traxe can give you atleast $5.

Other things you need to know is that high APY or APR are usually fraudulent activities, they are going to be using your funds for liquidity and then pay you guys a penny, it's better you don't even start because you will get scam before you even know. If you don't know what to do with your funds, keep them on your personal wallet and let's it stay there, it's better to that way.

Trading comes with risks but staking comes without risks, that's what you should know, anyways the staking offer on Bitget could benefit those with huge portfolio more than retail traders. But the offer is decent imo and it's on a 7day circle yes??

Not that I'm surprised, seeing how much the project has attracted the attention of exchanges with a lot of $TOMA airdrops flying around of course, a lot of players would want in.

Do identify yourselves if you're one of these 40 million players, or those participating in platform events for $TOMA.

It's possible but you can dyor. From my experience with Bitget telegram mini apps, fees are slashed 50% and the liquidity is good. Here. https://t.me/BitgetOfficialBot/Bitget
There are lots of scammers who stay in telegram although there's really some legit apps on telegram but it's still best to do a lot of research as it could be a scam app on telegram that looks very legit even though it isn't legit. It's much more better if OP should not use telegram bot as it is very risky. We all know that telegram is known place for scammers to stay and scam people in any way they can like sending messages, introducing something where you can earn fake telegram bot and so on.

Definitely true..that's why you shouldn't interact with just random bot. It needs to be an official Exchange product like the one I mentioned I've been using. That way your mind would be at ease in terms of scams etc..
