Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world?
by
Limar0
on 17/09/2018, 20:58:49 UTC
Yes, fiat money is very necessary for every individual especially to those who aren't willing to join cryptocurrency. Though to some cryptocurrency is better than fiat money, not all are using this because of its volatility factor. So others prefer using fiat money than fiat money.

Re: Short term vs. Long term investments
by

If the market prices are doing well then the short-term investment is better at least you can earn profit daily even if it's not a lot. But if aiming for a better reward or huge profit then the long-term investment is the best option. So for me, it all depends on the market condition whether I'll go for a short or long-term investment.

All prices of coins in the market are dropping so we can't say that those old altcoins are shit coins. It's just that the market isn't going right at the moment. But once the market becomes stable then we can finally identify if some of those coins are shit coins.

Re: How can we make this world economically better?

If every successful individual shows care and concern to others who are really in need of help then probably we can make this world economically better. Successful investors here in the crypto world plays an important role in the economic world. The best thing to start with is to form a group of people or shall we say a charity that helps the poorest of the poor to uplift their way of life by offering a livelihood program for their family. That way we can minimize the unemployed people and lessen poverty then the betterment of the world economy will follow.

If this is right then it is good for cryptocurrencies existence. This might help to grow bitcoin and other cryptos all over the world. With this development, I think those countries who banned bitcoin and other digital currencies will likely to withdraw the banning of crypto in their country. Big companies who are accepting bitcoin makes the crypto world even better.

Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life.
by

on 14/09/2018, 04:33:14 UTC
I would say that having a regular job is better than a full-time crypto trading or investment. With your regular job, you can support yourself in your day to day living although it isn't enough if you need to have at least monthly saving for the future of your family especially if you are a blue collar worker only. So if I was you, take that full-time job then do crypto jobs right after your knock-off or free time.

Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver?
by

Investments in gold/silver for older people is easy to understand than crypto and that maybe the reason why they choose these metals for investment instead of bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Anything can happen because of its volatility factor. When bitcoin price drops, obviously it's everyone's concern especially to those who are buying bitcoin beyond its current price. Bitcoin price is going steady at around $6K so we all hope that it remains this way or may rise up a bit in a few weeks.

Bitcoin can be collected freely or you can buy it using your fiat money. It's your choice. And when talking about trading, I believe no required amount to start with. You can start it little by little. Once you learn the techniques in trading then you can increase it gradually.

Re: Why do people believe and invest in fraudulent ICO?
by

on 12/09/2018, 13:41:15 UTC
The ongoing projects behind the ICO look promising that's why more investors are attracted to it and make others believe to invest in it. In the earlier stage, you can't really tell if the ICO is legitimate or scam. Therefore, it's not anyone's fault. It is just that the people who invested are just victims of this scam ICO's.

Aside from investment in cryptocurrency, I run a computer shop since 2009. And with the rewards I received from cryptocurrency, it helps me to expand my computer business. Now if blessed with good fortune here in the crypto world, I am planning to invest in a real state because as the year passes real state become more valuable.

Not all corners of the world know about cryptocurrency especially to those people who belong to the poorest of the poor. So I would say that the world is not ready for the cryptocurrency. Usually affected are those in remote areas who were not exposed to gadgets or haven't experienced the advanced technologies and don't even have electricity to light up their houses.

No, not all ICO's are scam. But the truth is more are a scam and only a few are legit. And I bet this forum can help us out which one is legit and which is not. Just take time reading this forum especially those threads that mention about ICO's because some of us here have tried good ICO's that pays off.

If we continue to support bitcoin and other digital currencies then probably bitcoin will be widely all over the world and become more valuable in the next few years. And more and more people will be using it as a digital currency, an alternative to our fiat money.

It will but probably not as high as it was in December 2017. I bet it will surpass the $10K mark at the end of this year. Though it is only an speculation I believe it is still possible to happen because of its volatility factor.

Yes, crypto is legal in our country but not countrywide are into it because of high risk. Our government already know about bitcoin and altcoins existence here in our country and it's just that they are not controlling it for some reasons. They are just reminding us about a KYC policy implementation for safer transactions.

If both family members here and abroad are having coins.ph wallet then sending money from one to the other in the Philippines is much faster and easier. And yes, like what you have said, it can help the OFW to earn extra income depending on how they manage bitcoin and other digital currencies.

The first thing that comes to my mind when we talk about currency is money. Money used to buy anything for our needs and wants. Like bitcoin, although it is a digital currency it functions like our fiat money used in purchasing goods, paying bills, money transfers and more.

Most of the ICO projects failed so I guess it's not good to invest in ICO this time. Even if the last company who handle the bounty campaign paid you it's not guaranteed that their next projects will be successful and pays you off.
