If we are speaking about users who has at least a little experience in crypto space then this kind of ICO will not have any sense to them since previously the community saw many scams and projects that were not able to release something worth users' expectations.

Re: Coins for 2020

What are the coins that going to rock in 2020?
In my list :
1. Binance
2. Etherium
 - what's in your list?

I have these coins staked for more than 3 years:
1. Rivetz
2. Electroneum
3. Digital Trading Rights - DTR
4. Eko
5. and, some other coins that are died already.
 - any of these coin has future?

Do you guys think that we can invest in BTC again? It seems like BTC is slowly going up.
And, if you want to invest in some what are your choices?

Agree with your BNB and ETH picks. Also, personally I believe in LTC and EOS. Those usually go up when Bitcoin moonshots.

I think the effect of the pandemic situation is already saturated and will not see more impact on crypto market due to it. From my point of view buying BTC at the moment can be done but need to wait a little longer to get good returns.
Maybe you can invest 50% now and if it goes down more, you can invest the rest of the funds to buy BTC.
I think buying bitcoin is not the right time now because the price of bitcoin has started to go up to almost $ 10k, maybe you can buy some altcoins that are down and don't forget to choose altcoins that have the potential to go up
Agree buying on the growth movement is not that wise. Can't be sure where the price will stop before dump/correlation/etc. Better just hodl for now and watch the market.

There are no disappointments to be honest. Anyone expecting a sudden bull run immediately after the halving has indeed not studied bitcoin growth chart over the past few months.

The moment we are is crucial, it is a 50/50 situation with inability to predict when the bull run will commence, it is best to continue be on the look out
Well, the price usually tanks right after halving. Also, halving usually has a long-term affect on the price so that's quite stupid to await instant bullrun caused by it.

Re: Should I invest in this new IEO
by

on 13/05/2020, 04:09:06 UTC
Hello, I am new to blockchain and I stumbled on how successful Binance IEO is and the recent IEO conducted there, I witnessed how the coin price spiked after IEO. So i discovered that Latoken is about conducting an IEO. Is it a wise decision to invest?
If you wanna get decent profit by participating in IEO and you can use my list.

Binance, okex, gate.io and you can get more information regarding which platform that gives a huge return for IEO investment through this site cryptorank.io

Latoken gives the worst return for investors who participated on latoken IEO platform. I think you should avoid to invest in latoken IEO.
Support this statement. Afaik Binance gave the biggest returns on their IEO so definitely keep an eye on it.

Re: BTC Halving and its effect on gambling
by

on 13/05/2020, 00:46:33 UTC
Hey! With the 3rd halving just around the corner and Bitcoin trading at about $9,200 at the time of writing, the price may break past the $10,000 mark once again in the weeks or months following [a lot of polls in regards to that here as well]

A massive price surge will highlight renewed interest in Bitcoin, which eventually may influence the iGaming industry to give more value to crypto gaming. This may result to a boom in the number of Bitcoin casinos on the market.

As Bitcoin gets more attention, more online casino operators would not want to miss the opportunity to tap the crypto gaming market. Existing operators that cater to only fiat-money players would consider accepting Bitcoin, while new brands in iGaming would launch as crypto-friendly casino and sports betting sites, for instance. Gaming dApps, for instance, may also get the boost they need to launch and get a strong following and support from the community.

Looks like a fairytale for you? Share your thoughts
Be also aware of scams since those are going to pop up as well. We still remember 2017 as a year of scam ICOs so nothing would chance about gambling scams.

It is definitely dice because I can prefer to gamble while doing other stuff like in the same time. So I can put an auto mod on without spending additional time for gambling.

But even after everything surrounding crypto and Bitcoin I can still see clearly that those who missed out or take their losses lack the patience, Bitcoin appreciate in value with time, buying at 7k doesn't mean price can't hit 10k, the fact is when? The key to success here is just patience, nothing more
That's why Bitcoin is supposed not to be shorted usually. You simply can't be 100% accurate with the price swings predictions so it will result in a great losses. But on the long run you won't lose if DYOR and bought at the right time.

BNB returns and growth were impressive last year. No offense about ETH but personally for me, BNB is a better choice. Till they develop Binance as the exchange BNB as a currency will become stronger as well.

Personally I think we'll stagnate at this point a little then the market would tank right after halving and then go hard north. With the daily predictions it's better to use some tools like Stipsoculus if you're s newbie like me and don't know how to properly analyze the market. It helps me alot.

Lack of development is a reason. Those can't be successful just by correlating with Bitcoin trend. Also, development teams must be in a short touch with their community since it affects the altcoin price by simply making it more demanded among the people.

Re: Age restriction in gambling

Just curious how is it even possible to gamble at the age of 5? Grin Grin Grin

Unless, it is not the kid that is gambling but someone at a right age that doesn't wanna get tracked down right? Well, the point is, the age restriction system will not really work here unless they implement KYC system with real time verification. Because merely, an ID's could still be used to steal identity to a person if they really want to gamble with a restricted age.

I actually didn't think about it before. Thanks for sharing a different point of view. Also, agreed that KYC implementation make users more 'vulnerable' to data leaks but in general KYC is needed for projects that aim to be legal and fair.
