Exclusive Opportunity: Seize the Legacy of Dogeparty Runner, the Pioneering Tokenized Game on Dogecoin!

I am taking offers for the entire Dogeparty Runner, XDPR - The Original XDP Token Game bloodline.

Historical Context
Dogeparty Runner (2014) was a groundbreaking pioneer in blockchain gaming. It is widely recognized as one of the first tokenized games to integrate decentralized exchanges (DEX), fungible tokens, and real-world prize mechanics on the Dogecoin blockchain. Its innovative use of the Dogeparty protocol, which was a precursor to modern smart contract systems, laid the groundwork for today's play-to-earn economies and NFT ecosystems. The rich history of blockchain gaming can not be told without starting with this early blockchain experiment.

What's Included in the Sale
This offer includes all intellectual property (IP) and residual assets tied to Dogeparty Runner, which have the potential to generate significant value in the blockchain gaming and NFT markets, including:

  • Full IP Ownership:
Trademarks, copyrights, and domain rights for "Dogeparty Runner" and associated branding.
Original game design documents, problem sets, and technical architecture blueprints.
  • Remaining Tokens:
All unsold/residual RUNNER, HINTS, CLUES, and PRIZES tokens held in dispensers or reserves.
All unsold/residual VICTOR, CLAIMS, and TRADEIN tokens held in dispensers or reserves.
Access to the XDPR token (Dogeparty Runner's native currency) and its blockchain records.
  • Historical Assets:
The original website (dogepartyrunner.com) and archives (including gameplay demos, problem logs, and community communications).
The Dogeparty Runner blog (xdpr.medium.com) and all historical marketing materials.
  • Donated Tokens & Community Assets:
Residual tokens from partnerships with the Dogeparty Token Depot intended for giveaways and sponsorships.
  • Social Media accounts:
    X @dogepartyrunner
  • Brand Equity:
Recognition as a milestone project in crypto history, referenced in publications and blockchain timelines.

With the potential to leverage nostalgia and retro gaming trends, the modern reboot of Dogeparty Runner could pave the way for an exciting future of blockchain gaming.

Why This Opportunity Matters
  • First-Mover Legacy: Dogeparty Runner's claim to being among the first tokenized games (2014) is unmatched. This heritage could be leveraged for:
  • -- Reviving the game on modern blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, Solana).
    - Creating NFT-based editions or retro gaming collectibles.
    - Monetizing through licensing, documentaries, or crypto history projects.
  • Technical Blueprint: The project's design offers a rare case study in early blockchain gaming economics, DEX integration, and decentralized raffles.
  • Community Nostalgia: Access to early adopters and crypto historians could drive engagement for a revival or homage project.

Potential Use Cases for the Buyer
  • Revive & Modernize: Rebuild Dogeparty Runner as a retro-inspired play-to-earn game with updated mechanics.
  • NFT/Historical Tokens: Mint NFTs tied to original gameplay achievements or token ownership.
  • Research & Education: Use the project's archives to study early blockchain innovation and decentralized systems.
  • Brand Licensing: Leverage the IP for crypto conferences, merchandise, or partnerships with retro gaming platforms.

Questions & Offers
This is a direct, exclusive offer to acquire the entire Dogeparty Runner ecosystem! Interested parties should contact me via X @xbtpaul regarding:
  • Any proposals outlining your vision for the assets.
  • Details on your capacity to execute (e.g., team, technical expertise, funding).
Any questions regarding the history of the project or details of the offering.

All negotiation discussions will remain confidential until finalized or determined by the final terms of the sale.

Closing
Dogeparty Runner is more than a relic—it's a foundational chapter in the history of blockchain gaming. This offer represents a rare chance to own a slice of crypto's origins and reimagine its legacy for new audiences. By acquiring Dogeparty Runner, you have full rights and ownership of the past and full control of the future. The possibility of making a significant impact in the blockchain gaming and NFT industries is in your hands.

It's been 8 long years since the first Runner's played our inaugural Dogeparty Runner game.

Dogeparty Runner's vintage website has been woken up and dusted off.  Smiley

The DKPC lead developer has just announced that the new wallet with new chain params is almost complete and should be good for public testing this week. The new UI is looking fantastic and as usual it's some excellent work from DKPC's team :

Guys, you need to please mind, respect and follow the licenses of open source projects. Especially the months and years of hard work people have put forth to bring software like your new wallet UI/UX to market.

The Particl team is proud of our wallet and market, and don't mind forks or copies as long as they follow the license we distributed along with it. It's an honor to see others excited about the simplicity of our design, but please give credit where credit is due.

Your upcoming wallet and anything else copied and rebrands from Particl or other teams needs to be open source 100% even in development and credited to original authors.

Can you provide a link to your development repos on github, sourceforge or similar?

Thanks guys!

EDIT: Just a friendly note for devs - you're also breaching Particl license: https://screenshotscdn.firefoxusercontent.com/images/c84d9e8b-95e0-43f6-ac28-0c04cc6f2edb.png

Edit: Martin ^^ has spent the past 18 months designing the Desktop app modals and UI/UX. So hopefully understand his frustration with the blood sweat and tears he's put into the amazing design.

Please correctly follow the license of the project your code comes from. There are instructions on github on how to follow open software standards. This applies to your Desktop repo as well as your sips repo.
If you have any more questions feel free to reach out to me or the team. Smiley

And please add PART to your DEX eh!

I'm no longer owner of the Ohio BITCOIN plates. We turned them in back in 2013 or 2014 because my wife was afraid of being profiled Sad
Little 1" BTC stickers still give us street cred with the eagle-eyed Ohioans.

New release out across all platforms. https://github.com/shadowproject/shadow/releases
V1.5.0.3

If you compile yourself
Code:
git update
then recompile.

First change I noticed was unlocking wallet for messaging now. That's great so wallet stays encrypted now.

Also, it's good practice not to operate private and group chat channels with your main coin wallet. Ie: where all your coins reside.

You might be misunderstanding the structure of the Shadow market. The devs do not "allow" anything on there. They write code. They release the code, and what we buy and sell there is what we buy and sell, they can't control any of it.

I'd add that the way a decentralized app works is that it's owned by the people. So you can't really shut it down unless you control the coin supply which is tied up in nodes at the moment. Roughly 45% or more staking and hardly any supply in the open market without raising the price to $100 or more.

Very expensive overthrow scenario.

Realistically the market will be small to start and hopefully grow organically like any new user base.

There are no expectations from the community to kill DNM. That's just crazy. That's like the 95%+ of coins out there trying to kill Bitcoin (which almost all think they will  Undecided ). It's not realistic. Shadow isn't trying to replace the DNM in as much as it's not trying to replace Bitcoin.

The market will offer new ways to do business around the world. But all the current ways will keep chugging along that's for sure. Hey, just today I used cash to buy coffee. And drew a picture with a pencil on paper. Those still work perfectly fine.

Just comes down to what do you want out of the tools at your disposal.

Only a total of 21k coins up for sale at trex and 176K at polo, I dont think anyone want to sell before the market lands

If you look at distribution tab on trex you see there are a lot of coins on there, just not posted to sell yet. i bet similar ratio is on polo too.

Serious project with promising future, love how they are working on a useful environment so that users might really leave the app (node) open on their computers - for anonymous chat or tor browsing, for ex. Would be great to have a Linux ShadowOS preloaded with SDC node for RASPBERRY PI. Really cheap way of running a node and great secure wallet if you have stakes on the coin. I mean, eventually people that are bought into the coin will want to help enforce the system (by running nodes) to protect their coins.

This had already been done. I think @dasource or @code has set this up.

There you go. It's not preloaded, but at least you can do it yourself, without needing to rely on 3rd party (to be honest and not fill it up with malware):
https://shadowproject.io/en/tutorials/shadow-daemon-raspberry-pi2

The team has released linuxarm compiles as well. https://talk.shadowproject.io/topic/540/get-shadowgui-staking-within-5-minutes-on-raspberry-pi-jesie-mate-and-others

In the future I believe these will be included on the github release page with checksums

I'm sure many people have asked, but what's the ETA on the SDC exchange? Some very slick features here and if it can attract 5 or 10% of the DNM transactions I think it would explode.

Indeed

Roadmap for the project is here: https://shadowproject.io/en/roadmap

Looks like this year.

Was the alleged broken ring signatures reported in February 2016 fixed? I was trying to find out but couldn't find any documentation

It's summarized here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Shadowcash/comments/50iuv8/what_is_shadowcashs_rebuttal_to_it_being/d74dno7

The wallet links in the OP are out of date.  At least the win64 one is.

Official releases with checksums can be found here: https://github.com/shadowproject/shadow/releases

Do you know any CORS enabled public API which can return SDC address balances for third party apps?
I've tried this: http://explorer.shadow.cash/chain/ShadowCash/q, but they not set the CORS header of the api server.

I've put a message into the dev of shadow.cash for your question Smiley
