Hi, I am trying to help a friend who has a Seirra he bought but was never able to get working.  He bought one back in April with someone else and that guy flaked on him and he has no tech expertise and was basically stuck with it until he met me now.  I dont think a Seirra is even close to profitable now but I told him I would try to help him get it working anyways.

can anyone provide me with the latest firmware for the sierra?  I assume his has the original firmware since he has had it sitting around for almost a year.  I am able to get it working and hashing at 1.2TH/s but it constantly fails after 1 - 20 minutes with lots of USB errors.  Sometimes it will start and stop in less than a minute with USB errors and sometimes it will run for almost 20 minutes before the errors happen and cgminer crashes.   I am hoping new firmware will help.  Hashfast seems defunct or close to it, their setup.hashfast.com page doesnt work for me (i just get their website), I cant register for their site and they wont respond to support requests.

I think there is a bug in your calculations.

2GH is estimated to make 2142.34LTC per day for the miners at the current difficulty (which is even lower than when you calculated - 939). 

2% of 2142.34LTC is 42.84LTC not 364.

Also, your not including orphans which the pool absorbs, luck, payment fees for withdraws (which are free for the miners but the pool pays 0.02ltc on about 50% of them) and server and infrastructure cost.  There is a reason no medium to large sized pools run 2% PPS and all charge 3,4,5,6% PPS rates, and it's because at 2% you are just about breaking even. Orphan rate alone can be as high as 2% which would wipe out all pool income and that is before fees, luck, and infrastructure costs. 

I do this because I love it and believe in LTC, not to get rich.  If it wasn't for tenshou the pool would not be able to do this contest.

What Counts As A Day Of Mining?
After some thought we have decided the system that tallies the day's entries will run randomly once per day. If you and your invitees are mining when the script runs, you will get an entry for that day for yourself and your invitees who are mining. We feel this is the best and most fair system.

How Many People Can I Invite?
As many as you want/can. We don't want users to be afraid to hand out invites because they are worried the person they invite will waste the invite so we will not be limiting the number of invites. All Users will be given 10 invites and can request more via Site IRC Chat or the Forums.

Fine Print:
Anyone who is caught cheating the contest in anyway will be disqualified and will NOT be notified of their disqualification. Each user may have 1 single account, we will be employing an anti-cheat detection system which monitors IP among other measures. As this is a free contest, anyone who is not happy with any aspect of the contest does not have to participate.
