which is your UVP? (unique value proposition - why are you better than your competitors?)
The new website is less dark ( better from a psychology point of view) but UI/UX need some improvement but nice job
I read that you are ready for an adv campaign, please don't spend a lot of money in adv, you can use some hacks or use something as https://adespresso.com to make some A/B test.
Devs seem really active, with a good community and mkt this coin can really arrive at 1$.

Yes, you're right!
1. You must apply bounty program to encourage people to add values, (even with "tipbot" on slack or telegram)
2. The new website design is good but not enough, need more improvements in the design to be professional like top cryptos Zcash/ETH/Ripple!
3. I think you should redesign your logo (Verge identity), hire someone or ask people on twitter and the best design will get reward (10K/20K/50K/100K XVG)
The design must be innovative (redesign logo with some banners for social media)
4. Promo video to explain Verge features (For example: like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlYJ0sNVVpg)
5. Marketing is everything! (The success of any project depends on marketing and innovation)
I think Vege have the innovation but need more marketing!
I agree with you about this plan . This project is so great and it's known as valued coin in the crypto community.
If this coin has a way of promotion like XRP , I believe this project will bring us back more big investors .

I`ve bought some coins with the intention to hold them a while.
here are my thoughts and questions regarding the future of verge coin. Regarding the suggestions i will state below, you worked on this project so at the end you are entitled to shift/do what you think it`s best for your baby.
1) I see that there is the intention to add RootStock to Verge once it`s working for Bitcoin. This is awesome, the fact that verge will have privacy + smart contracts combined.
I think newcomers should have clear understanding what sets apart Verge from other coins: Monero, Dash, Zcash.
If privacy/smart contracts combo, i read that others will implement also this in the future, if not already.
This topic is not clear to me and need to read more, but a quick explanation here will help me and others searching for more info.
Once this is settled, Verge can gain more trust in the long run.
If Verge is 1st coin to add those, the fact that Zcash/Monero etc got a way bigger traction than Verge can be bummer for many future investors. would want to see your opinion on this one ( i m not talking about speculators).
2) Once the tech side stands on its own, marketing is crucial as you know. (actually this needs to be done aggresively IHMO , in parallel with rootstock implementation.
I see that you got verge ad , nice but i think it needs more than this:
suggestions regarding marketing:
1) twitter account to be more professional oriented, it still has one man show feel: check syscoin/ stratis way of doing things on twitter.
Posting about partnerships, trends and where fits or will fit in the blockchain echosystem).
2) verge blog?
3) brief presentation of the team + whenever future member comes aboard.
4) do you have a plan regarding deals for Verge? this will get more trust on future investors and it`s also addressing the very basic question: why verge and not other coin.
Curious of your thoughts here, nevertheless the fact that you and your guys built this from 0 up to this level is huge. But to bring it to the next level i think it will require a lot.

I agree fully to everything you said. At the moment to be honest it is really hard for potential investors to understand the edges of this coin.
All the tech innovation etc are nice, but it does not help for people who have no clue.
Dev would be nice to consider these points mentioned

I still did not get an answer. The Mac wallet seems to not work anymore for me. Is there anyway to import my coins which i stored on my paperwalet??
the mac wallet absolutely works. can you describe the issue you are having?
It unfortunately crashs when I try to open it
maybe the db is corrupted. try deleting all the blockchain info (except the wallet.dat)
then download a fresh copy of the chain from vergecurrency.de or cryptochainer.com
then open the wallet back up.
I have similar problem. Mac wallet opens fine after updating the blockchain. The only issue is that it says the wallet is our of sync and I don't see any process bar for synchronizing the wallet. How do I start synchronize the wallet? Thanks for all hard working, Dev.
just be patient, or download the chain from vergecurrency.de
otherwise it can take a while to sync, almost 3 years of blockchain. that is why we are releasing the electrum clients, so its instant.

So I tried again, it did not work, I realised when I try to delete everything there is always a hidden file called DS_Store which comes back.
Maybe it has something do with that?
