It's true that the chance of being a merit source is lower but it doesn't mean that you are incapable. I think theymos will consider your posts and quality. Also, those feedback has nothing to do with being a merit source.
We need some more source and you deserve to be one. Keep up the good work.

Jet Cash has once merited 1 plagiarized post. It's really hard to find out the plagiarized post while you are going to +Merit. In this case, we can use plagiarism checker for being ensured that we are not wasting our sMerits.

But, aren't we encouraging people to continue campaign even with newbie rank? I mean the copper membership. Anyone can start a bounty, post an ANN. Also, there should have certain rules for being a campaign manager which may ensure us less scam project or whatever from the current situation.

You have shared the problems and thoughts on how can get merit and the next person shared what he/demoted member faced after the new system. In my opinion, no one deserves to be merited but it depends on various person's thoughts. Also, it can be abused too.

I am sharing my story only.
I registered here before the new 1 merit requirement but I was not active. The day I returned I saw lots of people were complaining about the new system. However, I didn't have any intention of gaining merit. I was reading an article posted by a newbie and I felt I read it somewhere else. At last, I found the original link and made comment here with the link. After a couple of minutes, I realized I got a merit. I had no intention of achieving merit but I got one from my 2nd post here.
Moral of the story- Don't run after merit, rather engage with people with meaningful posts. You will get merit automatically.

I was not active too much although I have joined here somedays ago. Today I desired to read some forum rules and regulations. But I felt like I visited in the wrong time. Only the repetitive threads are rolling out here in beginners board. All the threads are about merit. I didn't know too much about merit too. I started digging and realized how important it is for ranking up. It's not easy to achieve while for some people it's easy, lol. I don't know how easy or hard to earn merit is.
But will creating repetitive thread get someone merit? I doubt. Forum is meant for discussion. Why don't we engage with the existing one? It's really annoying to face such repetitive threads. Almost all of the threads regarding this issue are same.

Some mates have already mentioned almost all the possible ways.
In addition, you can join some social media group where may you find some interested people. Although, it may seem risky to you. You can simply have face 2 face deal what I usually do in my country. I hope you also can. Of course, localbitcoin is the best place.

After 15 minutes, it says 0.07% have been synchronized only. How can I synchronize it faster? Is there any file in which blocks are pre-downloaded? I would really appreciate.

Those people who will objectively engage here for having merits, may get 1 or 2. He/she can never be high ranked. But if he/she focuses on real discussion= quality, merit will be one of the easiest thing to gain.
There is no "key" to get merit without the one I mentioned.

Will hacking an account through this link be easy than previous? I'm not a hacker  Just trying to know.
BTW, it's a great edition, no doubt. Lots of people were looking for a solution to this. Some even asked for a paid solution.

I think it should not be the same for all the users. As far as I can remember, I have seen different time for different users but now, local time for all users seems to be the same. Am I correct or missing something? Is there any recent change in this?
