On your website you say that your project will allow to reduce the problem of $15/hour salary to the waiters. Your terminals will be established only on couple of tables at first, so how does it solve the salary problem? Waiters will still work the same way with the rest of tables and also deliver the orders for the tables with your terminals. Or I am missing the point?

And how do you plan to distribute your product? Knock on every restaurant's door? Smiley Do you have a plan how to spread your terminals?

It's clear that customers can pay with cryptocurrency if they want, but if the terminal is available for fiat payments, why do you think people will use digital coins? You plan to convert them into crypto users somehow?

Re: Investing 10000€ in crypto

Hi bitcointalk!

This is my first post ever on this forum! I do follow the crypto market for a couple of months now and I think the moment has come to invest in it. I'm actually hoping for another leg down first and then go for it but I'm suddenly not sure anymore this is going to happen.

I'm going to invest 10000€. My heart says; go all inn in Stratis, forget about a year, then look back and instantly recieving a big smile on the face.

But I know a lot are not going to advice this, putting all the eggs in one basket SO that's why I'm here, and asking for some advice.

Should I follow my heart and just go for it? Or should I just stick to bitcoin only? Or diversify in multiple coins like most of you do?

Glad to hear some opinions and how you men and ladies are doing this?

Crypto is IMO just at the beginning... This is going be so big in a couple of years.. I had the feeling a couple months ago I missed this great opportunity but nahh..

Looking forward to some suggestions!

Peace
You should look for somes coins that have real projects like Casino ICO or anything else that is real, those coins have potential to grow up in long term.
It would be smarter to invest into few coins and once at least one of them shoots, you'll have a significant profit. And of course, a working product is crucial for a good investment. So make sure to concentrate on projects like that. But I wouldn't stick to casino projects and there are already too many of them, the competition is too high, so it's pretty difficult to predict, which one will actually be successful.
Better look for a unique product. Like reOrder - https://ico.reorder.world. They already have a working product, real goals and a great potential to my mind.

Re: 5 crypto currencies to invest in 2018

Hello everyone, my first post here, hopefully I can realize my dreams with help of the community.

I'm planning to do an initial investment of $500 in crypto currencies. $100 for 5 separate crypto currencies. I'm thinking of XRP, Adcoin, maybe Ethereum and 2 more. Any advice related to the choice of coin?

My goal is to find at least one Unicorn which will generate me maybe $30k in the next years. Which coins would you invest most likely in to achieve this goal?
Of course it is always smart to invest into Bitcoin. It's a safe investment.
But if you are looking for unicorns, make sure to find the projects, that have a good growth potential. It's crucial that the market where the ICO product will take place, is always growing. Such as catering market. So if you're looking for a "sure thing" investment, check the reOrder project - https://ico.reorder.world.

With so many ICOs flying around, can someone give a hint which team already has a working product and then launching an ICO, instead of the other way around.
Check the reOrder ICO - https://ico.reorder.world.
They have a working product and a really good potential.

Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO?
by
LittleDiver

1. White Paper - if they didn't have take time to create a good White Paper, will they spend enough time to make their product really good? The paper should contain a considered plan and realistic goals.
2. Team - good team, not too big, not too small; experienced. Always check for their background and see if they are active in social media.
3. Growth potential - if the product doesn't have where to grow it will hardly bring you any profit. Make sure to check for competitors as well, because the competitors might have a much better product, even if this ICO growth potential is really good.

Re: How many coins do you hold ?
by
LittleDiver
on 06/09/2017, 20:41:52 UTC

I am not sure this is a god strategy, I have 5-6 coins, and try not to keep more than that as it becomes impossible to keep following the coin's news.

Is holding up to 5-6 coins only too risky ?

how many do you hold and what is your rationale for that number ?
Some people spend 24 hours a day trading and so actually manage to follow 10 or even 20 coins. You should keep as many coins as you feel comfortable with.
I hold BTC because it is the most established coin and few more alternative coins: Litecoin, Peercoin, Namecoin, NXTcoin. That makes 5 coins for me. Choose the perfect number for yourself. Don't rely on the opinion of other traders as they all have different strategies and spend different time on research and trading.

Re: ICO forbidden in China? Will same thing eventually happen in all countries?

I agree with you that all countries have the opportunity to make the regulation prohibit ICO for the same reason as the regulation made by China unless there is an ICO project in a country requesting the government's approval to make ICO and part of the profits left to the government I do not think the government will interfere about ico again.

But if government interferes in every altcoin, won't it make every currency centralised? Isn't it what crypto community is trying to avoid?

This is what we should have done ourselves instead of letting in Government to do that for us, Gnosis, Aeternity etc are obvious greed and scam, I can pick for now. There should be no ICO that should raise more than $5 million. Most have nothing on ground and will raise millions of USD for no product.
I've seen somewhere on this forum that all ICO raising more than $300,000 are scams. How to understand which opinion is right? Or these are just opinions and it is better to trust your own research?

Am actually new on bitcointalk, I want to know if there are new and promising altcoins
When you look at every white paper, all altcoins seem so promising Smiley Be careful making your choice. Don't trust beautiful words only. Make your research or trust the opinion of professionals.

But of course, lots of promising projects here, on Bitcointalk. You can also look for on the websites, making lists of upcoming ICOs. But don't forget that any team can pay for the advertising. Make your choice wisely.

Yes it could happen elsewhere.
I think we must not lose sight of the fact that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are creating a new economic system which is a thread for central banks, state institutions and so on. And states and banks are still very powerful! So, they could present cryptocurrencies like something bad, dangerous, not safe, and they could make them illegal to protect themselves.

So there is no real way to protect your investments? Just hope that it won't happen in nearest future? Smiley

Regulating or banning ICO's could be a good for the coin prices since the money in crypto will be spread over all coins, when there are less coins average price will be higher.

Although this is what keeps me busy

The event in China caused Bitcoin and Ethereum price to fall. Why do you think it might be a good thing?

Recently the government of China has forbidden all ICOs and initiated a major check of all projects. Moreover, all ICOs now have to return the funds to investors.
Do you think same thing might happen in other countries as well, or everything will stop on China?

Re: Lots of Scammers Here

It's obvious that there are a lot of scammers on the forum. Thousands of people come here to look for the best project to invest. It's a perfect source of naive investors who are easy to fool.

Everyone should just realise that an investment is always a risk. Make researches. Maybe even look up for particular ICOs on special sources making overviews. Just important to be smart and make into trusted projects or be brave and take the risks Smiley
